I was absolutely blown away with her work of art. She super exceeded my expectations and gave me what I always envisioned my wedding day to look like. We had a picture perfect wedding because of Danielle and her attention to the last smallest detail. I will sing her praises to anyone who will listen.

nts, so it wasn’t a huge deal to us. Danielle was very nice and easy to work with throughout the process. We changed our order a couple times and she made it work for us. My bouquet was made of wildflowers and wheat and looked beautiful, and the boutonnieres were wheat and thistle and looked very cool. She showed us those the day before and we approved them, but she did not have the corsages ready then. We trusted that she would make them match, but when they arrived at the venue on Saturday, the corsages were light pink and had roses, which we specifically did not want. They looked like spring arrangements, not matching our fall rustic theme at all. When my husband called to ask if they could be redone, she was very rude and told him anything more would be extra. I also found out the day after the wedding that there was no corsage for the hostess, only a boutonniere for the host. When we told her this the following day, Danielle did not even apologize. She had no remorse and showed no empathy for making this mistake. We would not recommend this florist after our experience here.

Returning the rented vases was completely painless and she even connected me with a friend of hers who preserves bouquets since I was so in love with mine. ething Chic. Danielle (the owner) is extremely organized yet calm and laid back. She is very professional yet never pushy. She is creative, but always keeps your budget in mind! Danielle was great with communication through emails and texts as the date approached. If we had questions, she always responded that day, if not within minutes. In addition, Danielle doesn't just do flowers!! We went through her to rent all decorative items such as a curtain with lights for behind the head table, candles, chivari chairs, table overlays and runners, etc. Most importantly, the finished product was better than my daughter and I even imagined. A friend of mine called it "magical." I strongly encourage anyone planning a wedding in Des Moines, to contact Danielle at Something Chic. I promise you, it will be one of the best decisions you will make!!!

(Since I wanted to send centerpieces home with guests at the end of the night I chose to buy some of the vases for a reasonable cost.) I arrived at the venue on my wedding day to all of the floral arrangements set up, so I was really able to enjoy getting ready with my bridesmaids rather than setting up. I can't say enough good things about Something Chic Floral!
