Booking Something Ginger was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've never felt more beautiful and Diana and Kimberly were able to fully bring my vision to life. The other best-decision I made was booking them to stay for touch-up!! Because I wore my hair down and it was windy outside, it was amazing that they could fix my hair right before and after the ceremony. They were even helpful (in unexpected ways) right before the ceremony because they encouraged me to take a moment for myself before I walked down the aisle. I probably wouldn't have done this otherwise and am so happy I did. They were seriously like two additional Bridesmaids and I wish I could hang out with them (and get glammed by them) every weekend.

The team at Something Ginger is top tier. I followed the team for a while and knew I wanted to book them for my bridal hair & makeup and I am so glad that I did. Communication was easy and flowing. Whenever I had an inquiry, request, or add-on the owner Diana and team helped me without hiccup. They are kind, understanding, and all so beautifully talented. I booked a trial and even though the team was clearly so wonderful. I left feeling a bit unsure of my overall look as I realized I didn’t want something too heavy for the big day. I communicated with them and they were so receptive and actually took the feedback to work on the look I wanted and they delivered! Ashley did my hair - making my long lock romantic dreams come true! Helping me even pick out appropriate extensions when I didn’t feel satisfied with my length. Jamie did my makeup & she did a stellar job! I wanted something glowy, light, bright to go with the overall romantic feel. She was magic. My eyes, color, & skin was flawless and it lasted all night. The girls made each member of my bridal party look like perfection and they felt like queens. The details were there! & the little things like the snacks, waters, eye masks were luxurious touches. They did everything on schedule and even finished ahead - we never felt rushed. The woman were engaging, interesting, and fun. An incredible experience overall. I highly recommend and would absolutely use them again.

One thing about Diana and her team is that they will show up and execute hair and make up phenomenally! They are professional, kind, and extremely talented. As a fellow vendor, we enjoy every opportunity we get to work with the Something Ginger team as we know that communication will be great and our clients will be happy. Their hair and make up photograph beautifully! We couldn't recommend this team more and adore every one of them!

Really lovely, kind women. Were flexible to include all wedding attendants in whatever order they were available. Everyone looked amazing!

Ashley and Yvonne were fantastic! They were so sweet and made sure every detail was perfect. Ashley went above and beyond! She stayed through the first few photos to ensure my hair was holding and looked perfect! Any picture or idea we had they were super happy to create and executed the looks perfectly! I also paid for a second look and Ashley came back to the venue and created a beautiful braid! So thankful I found this company!!

Something Ginger is simply fabulous! After the hair and makeup trial, I was so excited. Kimberly was fabulous and listened to exactly what I wanted (and needed)! She made me feel beautiful. Evonne is beyond brilliant. She understood my hair and after the trial even determined that we would need more time because it’s so thick. Not to mention, I use her for all my hair styling now!

We hired Something Ginger to do makeup for our bridal party. Our artist did an amazing job of individualizing her services to each bridesmaid. I had one bridesmaid who was rather particular and the artist was very patient with her and made sure that she was happy with the final product. Would absolutely recommend Something Ginger.

Ashley was wonderful. She nailed my hair plus the 6 in my bridal party. Tasteful, classic. She was professional and worked super quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

Simply Amazing! We had an incredibly large wedding party and they were able to help us schedule a way to make all 18 people so glamorous :) We also rented their space, which was beautiful beyond belief! I would recommend them a million times over.

I would highly recommend the team at Something Ginger! They are extremely talented and more than exceeded my expectations plus the nicest people who were such a lovely addition to our group getting ready the day of the wedding. We had a group of 10 girls getting hair and makeup done in Santa Fe in April 2022. They had great communication and prompt replys as we prepared for our wedding and kept us on time and organized the day of! As the bride I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup and know all of the bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom felt the same! Something Ginger was one of the first vendors I booked for our wedding and I’m so happy I snagged them! I had them do hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids as well as our mothers and sisters' makeup for my wedding in Santa Fe and they knocked it out of the park. I kept looking at each of my girls about to cry because of how beautiful they all looked. Kata and Diana and their team are the whole package. I felt instantly comfortable around them and their down-to-earth personalities. Kata gave me such a healthy glow without overpowering my small features like heavier makeup can sometimes do, and she gave me my fluffy dream brows! I felt like myself but with a little Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sprinkled in, and I don’t know what else a girl needs to feel like on her wedding day. Diana is one of the sweetest humans you’ll meet, her laugh is infectious and she’s SO knowledgeable and talented at hair. I really appreciated how well she listened to my likes and dislikes (I’m picky!) and she gave me some amazing advice about hair health and how to get the most out of my wedding weekend hair. Diana is also THE MOST versatile and she can do anything for you from braids and up-do’s to the sleek waves and relaxed, fluffy mostly-down looks that she gave me and my girls. I am still thinking about the looks SG gave me for my wedding and welcome party. I don’t think I’ve ever had more compliments on how beautiful I looked in my life - hire them for the whole weekend and thank yourself later! I also wanted to shoutout the rest of the SG team, who styled and made up my mum, sister and mother and sister in law. They were the sweetest, most patient artists and I appreciate how much time and care they put into their work. My mum doesn’t wear a ton of makeup and so when I had the pleasure of stopping by when they were finishing up their services and I saw how beautiful my mum looked I had a few little happy tears. I couldn't have imagined our wedding weekend without Something Ginger, they're the best in NM!

I used Something Ginger for my wedding hair and makeup and had an excellent experience! Everyone I worked with was fabulous! Katie (makeup) and Vanessa (hair) did a phenomenal job on me, my 4 bridesmaids, and my mom. They were both prompt, professional, and absolute joys to work with. Their work was absolutely stunning! Diana and Christina were also very responsive and communicated frequently in the planning process. I highly recommend using Something Ginger!

I was really impressed by the service provided by Something Ginger. Both Madi and Katie were truly exceptional at their craft. I changed my mind a few times about hair styles and makeup and Madi and Katie were flexible, accommodating, and adaptable. My hair (by Madi) was by far the best hairdo I've ever had for any event -- natural, versatile (could be worn down after my wedding ceremony for dancing) and very chic. Likewise, Katie did the best makeup job I've ever had for any event -- she made me look like myself, but enhanced. I felt the same about their work on my mother, mother-in-law and my two best friends. And this added so much to the photos. Thank you to both of you!

Diana blew my expectations away for my hair and makeup! I looked like a model, and for someone who never likes being in front of the camera, I couldn't stop looking at myself. She made me look like "me"....but a fancier and best version of me! She listened to exactly what I wanted- natural, undone. I went far out there with my hair, asking for something she hadn't seen before, and we went with it during my trial and both loved the result! She trusted my vision and took it ten steps further. We chatted the whole time and now consider her a good friend! Would highly recommend Diana and her team any day :)

WOW! Something Ginger is the dream team that I did not know even existed! Kata, Diana, and their team were simply amazing to work with. From the very beginning, they were so kind, professional, and flexible. Our wedding was a destination wedding...New Orleanians coming to Santa Fe. Due to Covid, we were unable to make a trip to NM to meet with them before booking. And oh my goodness were we blown away! Not only are they artists and true masters of their craft, they are incredibly down to earth, lovely people that we so fully enjoyed having with us on wedding day. I am not a person that wears much makeup day to day...if any at all...and these women made me look so beautiful, while also making me feel true to myself. My mother HATES having her hair and makeup done. But LOVED how she felt and looked with the help on Something Ginger. All of my bridesmaids were raving about them. One of them kept saying that she looked better than she did on her own wedding day! I feel so incredibly lucky to have found them. Kata and Diana - Thank you for everything that you did to make my wedding day so spectacular...it was not only the exceptional hair and makeup that you did for us all...but also the kindness and overall presence that you brought to the day that made it that much more wonderful. I absolutely LOVED working Something Ginger. Diana was an angel and was so sweet. We had the best conversation with she was doing my hair (which looked bomb). And Kata did the best job on makeup. Even my mom (who doesn't wear any makeup) got her makeup done by Kata and she was so so happy with it. I want them to do my hair and makeup for literally every even for ever. Loved them so much!

Kata is magic. She did my makeup for an author photo and everything about the experience was an absolute pleasure - from her stylish studio to the lovely scent of her products to her gentle touch. The results were beautiful. (For a 50-year-old undergoing breast cancer treatment, this was no small accomplishment.) She is incredibly talented and kind. I rarely wear makeup, and while having my makeup done felt like a splurge, it was worth every penny. I wish I could have my makeup done by Kata every day.

Diana went above and beyond for my dream winter wedding. She prepped me and my long thick hair to get me ready for the big day so I could have exactly what I wanted & envisioned. She traveled to Durango to get me, my bridal party, and my moms ready! I could go on and on about how Diana is the best!

Diana did both my hair and makeup for my wedding and she is an angel on earth!!! I was so worried about the humidity messing with my hair (we had a destination wedding) and she literally executed exactly what I wanted with perfection. Highly highly recommend her plus she has the sweetest heart and is so accommodating and communicative.

Kata is seriously the BEST MUA!!!!! She is Uber talented, punctual, fun, patient, and made us all look incredible!!! I highly recommend her- she’s worth every single penny. (she even has a hook on a GREAT DJ!) thank you for helping to make our wedding beautiful!! Xoxo

Kata was amazing for my two-day wedding celebration in Santa Fe. My makeup was honestly flawless both days. She also did an amazing job on all 5 of my bridesmaids and my mom. They couldn't stop talking about how much they loved their makeup and how long it lasted. I would highly recommend her!!
