Something New Entertainment

From start to finish, the crew of Something New Entertainment did a great job. They were very thurough in our consultation and made sure we had everything we wanted in music. We really enjoyed using their online planning tool, which allowed us to plan out entire night online - very easy! Our DJs were very friendly and did a great job at our reception.

Something New Entertainment are amazing! They played basically everything we asked to be played and filled in the gaps perfectly. They were so professional and fun to work with and truly cared about our event. Our wedding would not have ran so smoothly and been so much fun without them! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Our DJ truly outdid himself from lighting all our candles and plugging in all the lights to the pics he took on top of the special Godfather entrance that him and I worked out to surprise my husband. He played the perfect blend of music all night to appease all of our guests and he kept us on track with everything through the whole evening. Couldn't be happier! It was well worth the money!

Anna-J and everyone at Something New were wonderful to work with! I loved their online planning tool (I am a nerd like that) and they did a great job of reading what the crowd wanted while still honoring our wishes about the type of music we wanted to be played. The dancefloor was filled all night and we had a fabulous time! Also we felt that the whole team was very professional and sophisticated and avoided the "cheesy" DJ games :)

I met Justin of Something New Entertainment at a Bridal Fair in January. Then my fiance walked up, they had gone to grade school together. When we walked away he said that is out DJ. After talking to Justin and his wife, Anna Jeannine (AJ), we were introduced to our photographer. On the day of the wedding I had requested Dr. Pepper and the venue could not deliver, AJ went out and purchased it for me and Justin brought me a glass every time he saw mine was empty. They are the greatest and am recommending them to everyone I know.

Something New Entertainment was my wedding day lifesaver! They provided service above and beyond what they were even paid to do. Our wedding was outside and they went back and forth between indoors and outdoors refilling cups of water for my Husband,I and my family members to keep us hydrated. I also cannot tell you how many times they came up to ask if there was anything they could do to help. Something New also kept the show running smoothly. They held tight to the schedule I provided, and didn't even fluster when things got behind outside of their control. I was only a little disappointed by the fact that our "must plays" were played during dinner. It is probably because they were softer music like Michael Buble, and Nat King Cole, but it was a little disappointing not being able to dance to those songs. However, they are so accommodating that I am sure you can let them know when to play what songs throughout the night. They were really good about switching up the music when I asked them to play a different type of music. And I just want the chance to brag on them a little bit about helping with the kinks in the night. Our wedding venue decided the night of the wedding that they were not going to cut our cake, even though it was stated in the contract that they would. Our DJ offered to cut the cake for us, then the wedding venue said they would not provide the plates if they did. So my DJ's assistant was actually going to run out and buy plates for us so we could serve our cake. This was certainly not something they were required to do, but I was amazed at how much they were willing to help. Something New Entertainment really sees the importance of a wedding day and is truly there to create a beautiful day. They care more about serving people than they do about money, and did a lot to help me stay within budget. I would highly recommend Something New Entertainment (I had Justin and AJ9 as my DJ's)!

I had Anna-Jeannine and Justin as my wedding DJs. They were great to plan with, made it fun and easy, very personable. At the wedding, there wasn't a person in their chairs and everyone danced the whole time--my ideal. They also came prepared to help with any mishap that might occur--very comforting. They also did uplighting for my wedding and it turned out beautiful--literally gave it the extra touch that sent it over the edge from pretty to beautiful and elegant. My only complaint was that they messed up my first dance for the first minute or so...a bit upsetting, but they quicky changed it and got it right. Overall, great DJs.

Anna-Jeannine and Justin were excellent! They worked with us throughout the night...I saw people were getting antsy with the speeches so I went over to them and asked them to put on some music to get people on the floor and they did. They got the crowd moving and everyone had a great time. Anna-Jeannine kept asking me if I wanted or needed anything, ie. drink.

Something New Entertainment rocks!!!! I am still getting compliments on how much fun they were at our wedding. They were professional and dealt with last minute changes really well. They really got into the theme of our wedding, they played great music, and kept the dance floor packed all night!

We used DJ Justin from Something New Entertainment and were very pleased! He met with us twice before the wedding and they were very prompt with email communication. He was very professional and kept everything moving smoothly. During the reception he frequently checked with us to find out what we needed and how things were going. He even offered to get us drinks from the bar. He worked well with the other vendors (photographer and banquet hall) to make sure everything went smoothly. They work as a team to make sure that the music is always on while they are working out the details. The price is very competitive with other companies. Our younger guests even enjoyed when he got out on the dance floor and did a line dance with them. We have no complaints about Something New Entertainment and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone!
