Sommerset Pointe Lake Charlevoix

Chris at Sommerset Pointe is the most unprofessional person I have ever talked to. Whoever is the manager or whoever is in charge of event booking should really be ashamed they hired such an unpleasant rude person to book events. We talked to him a few times. The first time he was so rude we didn't even want to tour for our wedding reception. After we found a much more friendly venue for our reception we reached out again for our ceremony venue. Let me assure you his tone was not pleasant and the second time we talked I literally heard him shit talking me as he answered the phone. Not a good look. I want to talk to the manager just to keep this rude person accountable. Second. Apparently their online prices aren't accurate. Who knew. I didn't. So when he gave me an attitude after I was a little confused just seemed uncalled for. You have more than half the price listed on your website. Sorry for not knowing. And then after we talked about a higher price he then said we wouldn't have presidency and he couldn't guarantee anything because we weren't having our reception there as well? If I'm booking a spot for a ceremony I would appreciate a guarantee for a location? Like that's why I'm paying? Honestly he just told me it's a lot more "complicated" than I knew. Well I'm sure it is. I don't do your job. I'm paying for you to do a job. Stop complaining. This is literally what you do. And if you were nicer I would be giving this company my business and having my whole wedding here. So thank you Chris. For saving me from your rude and unprofessional place of work to host my wedding. Unacceptable.
