Son Cubano DC brings the authentic sounds of Cuban salsa to life for a truly fun and memorable wedding party and event. Based in the wider DC metro area, we are a 6-8 piece ensemble of top notch musicians and entertainers with a shared passion for Cuban “Son,” the musical style at the core of Latin salsa dance music.
Our repertoire includes a wide range of styles, tempos and songs from all the greats including Buena Vista Social Club, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Oscar D'Leon, Willie Colon, Beny More, Arsenio Rodriguez, Eydie Gorme, Groupo Niche, and many others. Along with music for dancing we also offer a full set of quieter Latin jazz suitable for pre-dancing drinks and listening.
