We hired SJS Events and planned the wedding for about a year and half prior to the big day. We had so many moving parts that would not have been possible without them. We had multiple days, events and ceremonies; all were completed seamlessly and with ease. Our wedding planning experience was not stressful nor was our wedding week thanks to SJS. My husband and I are generally procrastinators, and we honestly had no idea how to approach this wedding planning. About 2 weeks before the wedding, we decided to redo all the décor. As a nervous bride, initially, I lost my mind and couldn’t believe we were changing everything. I couldn’t manage it all and handed all the reins over to Sonal and her team. It wasn’t blind faith, but it was trust in knowing they would deliver. And deliver they did. Our wedding and events were amazing. Throughout the entire planning process, Sonal and her team made sure Sam and I along with all our vendors had a detailed timeline of all the events and important factors. The attention to detail was astonishing. I truly felt as though they listened and Sam and I mattered. All the vendors had their marching orders and Sonal made sure everyone was on the same page. As we approached the day of, Neeti was my lifeline. She made sure I was taken care and there was no task she didn’t do. I had to ask her to eat and take a moment, she was an absolute delight. If it wasn’t for Neeti, I would definitely have been a bridezilla. She saved my sanity! Neeti made sure my entire family was comfortable and taken care of. She even helped my mom put on her sari! The creme de la creme was her ability to make sure I always stayed calm and had a smile on my face. My wedding was one of the hardest days, not having my father with me, but Neeti made sure I focused on how much he was there with me, in every part of my wedding and family. She was my saving grace. All in all, Sonal and her team are an absolute must if you are looking for a visionary to bring your dream wedding to life.

Dear Sonal, Ruth, Ginny and the entire SJS Team, Words cannot describe how thankful we are to you guys for the flawless execution of our dynamic wedding. From the moment we met you until the end of my reception, you all have been an integral part (if not, the most integral part) of my wedding planning journey. I know for a fact that we could not have done half of what we wanted to or half of what we achieved without your help. I'm the only bride that wasn't the least bit stressed during her entire wedding planning process and trust me, that was not unnoticed. Everyone that asked me how got the same answer, it was because of you guys. I literally don't have words as to how organized you were at all times. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen were in awe of how efficient you were when it came to answering their questions, how exactly on time each event was, and most of all, how easy you made it look. Neeti was wonderful during the actual wedding weekend and was always attentive to Shravan and I. I'm sure she went well beyond her duties when she had to try to drag Shravan out of bed the morning of the wedding! Ginny and Ruth, you guys were my go to with anything wedding related in the months and days leading up. I could always count on you to reply to me within minutes and answer any questions I had. You both were amazing!! All of our vendors said they couldn't have done their jobs as well as they did without your guidance. My family was so incredibly pleased with everything, and you know how specific my dad can be, you made HIM happy. That's a huge deal! Overall, I may have had a dream wedding but it was so much because of my dream event planning team. You are an extremely talented woman Sonal, and you have an amazing team to back you up. You were my wedding lifeline and as happy as I am that we had the best wedding ever, I'm going to miss talking with you every day and your 100 emails!! You worked so hard for us in the last eight months and always kept our best interests at heart. Many people have called us asking about the SJS team and we have endorsed you wholeheartedly. Clearly you were a great asset to us. Sonal, when we met several months ago I told you I needed someone who could take the whole thing soup to nuts - that I wouldn't have the time or capacity to be able to pull off a wedding with the attention it required. You heard that and took over - your recommendations and input were so valuable to us. I appreciated that you didn't just 'yes me' with everything - that if you had a suggestion that was maybe counter to what I originally envisioned, you expressed why this might be a route we would want to go. We learned so much from you all in this process.

My husband and I are super "on it" but when it came to wedding planning, we were very laid back and often took our time. We needed someone like Sonal J. Shah and her team to help us to stay on point and drive us forward even when all we wanted to do was stay in the blissful state of engagement. When I think back to our wedding planning, I think back to relying on Sonal and Ruth for a lot of support. No question ever seemed stupid to ask (even though I often felt like it might be) and everything was addressed in the most timely manner possible. Sonal and her team thought through everything from A to Z - often we left out so much and they were thinking of things even I had not even thought of! Our wedding weekend was absolutely lovely from the vendors to the entire implementation of everything. We could have not done it without Sonal and her team and absolutely recommend SJS events. Sonal and Ruth are professional, honest, and most importantly- reliable!

Words are not enough to express our gratitude for all of your hard work! We simply cannot explain how thankful we are to the entire SJS team for making our wedding weekend spectacular and memorable, despite the rain and some hiccups along the way. Your team was so organized and determined to give us and the guests the best three days possible, and you certainly succeeded! Our families and friends could not stop ringing your praises, and we heard the following throughout the weekend and after the wedding: "The planners were always on top of it!," "There were no questions the planners could not answer!" "The team was so calm and collected and a pleasure to be around." "We could ask for anything, and they were always so responsive!" Though I could never recount all of your amazing feats, there are a few noteworthy moments from our year together that I want to point out: • Your thorough timelines were so, so helpful. They kept us, the vendors, and the Bridal Party on time and organized before and during the wedding weekend. • Your willingness to always provide comments, suggestions and thoughts, about issues that we did not think of, was so helpful and resulted in a seamless wedding weekend. • During our last walk through, we weren't satisfied with a number of things, which we could not articulate. The entire SJS team dove right in, spotted the issues, spoke with the vendors, crafted creative solutions, noted everything down (and I mean everything), and ensured we were happy with the outcome. I remember saying to the team, "I feel like you are inside my head!" • During the wedding weekend, you were always there for any questions, even during after hours. We did not feel alone any step of the way. We only had to worry about getting ready and showing up! • You were so incredibly wonderful with our family members, catering to their every need! • And who can forget the rain? We opted to have an outdoor ceremony, despite a forecast for rain (hoping for the best). The team was supportive of our decision, monitored the weather (using an amazing radar app), and provided us with consistent updates on when to delay the ceremony and/or when to begin. Though this was a stressful situation, the team was calm, collected, logical and willing to get drenched in the rain! There are countless pictures of the SJS team members running around to help us and the guests, without any umbrellas! We will remain thankful to you, and will fondly remember you all each time we see wedding pictures (particularly the ones with rain!). We were impressed with your energy and professionalism from day one but after seeing you in action during the wedding weekend, we were even more impressed with you and your team. SJS is truly exceptional – you think of EVERYTHING. Not only were all the wedding events flawlessly executed, there were so many little, thoughtful touches that set you/your team apart, from the relaxing candle you dropped off for to my room in Mexico to the wedding card your team wrote. You constantly checked up on us (and the vendors) to ensure everyone was doing well, when you yourself were sick as a dog our wedding weekend! I honestly had a tough time with the wedding planning and I feel you truly helped me through it and helped me to see the joy and fun in it. I learned that I can choose décor options that match and that look pretty. I felt that you gave me the framework and ideas and I was able to put my own touches on things in a way that made me feel proud. I have never felt confident to do those things beforeI felt like I got to know Sonal & Ruth and without getting too sappy, truly care about you! Sonal you have been through so much this year and yet remained professional & engaged. I don’t know how you did it. Ruth it was nice to see you step in when Sonal needed you to, it showed great teamwork and respect between the both of you. My most memorable times were the 2 meetings in the office when Vishal & I were procrastinating and Sonal had us pick the menu and then during the next one we picked the ceremony music!
