We also offered our guests another (and more expensive) hotel option for the weekend (although the vast majority stayed at the Sonesta), and there was no comparison in service among the two. Kelly Shallcross in the sales office was so helpful and responsive in helping us plan the weekend.
Everyone on staff was completely delightful the entire weekend; many of our guests even noted what a pleasure the hotel had been. And, the suites for my parents and my husband and I were fantastic.
We also hosted a morning breakfast after the wedding and everything was amazingly executed from the delicious food to a great room set up for guests to socialize and say farewell.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Sonesta to anyone looking to give their guests a first class experience with minimal effort on your part and for a great price.

was very easy, and they were friendly and accessible. Once we got here, the service was excellent. Everyone, from the cleaning staff, to the bellhop, to guest services, was friendly and congratulated us all weekend, which was a nice touch. The room itself was large, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated that the rooms have recycling bins. The only hiccup was a 3am fire alarm the night of our wedding, which made for quite a story! This was obviously not the hotel's fault that another guest was smoking, but I felt that it could have been handled a little better. The hotel lost one star for me because the person at guest services refused to give us a discount when we checked out of the hotel, but other employees gave our friends and other family members who asked discounts. We ended up emailing the general manager who was very nice about it and reimbursed us. If everything had been equitable from the beginning, I would have given this hotel five stars, even with all the interruptions (the power also went out earlier in the week).
