I did not get married here but I did have my morning of getting-ready here and used the room block. The rooms are nice and comfortable but not the most adorable for guests. They ha...
ve a getting ready room which was nice for my bridesmaids but the room does not have a bathroom and it was a little tight for 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 3 hair/makeup girls. If you ask ahead of time you can have the people at the front desk hand out welcome bags (that you make) and they’ll put out a little info sign for your guests. I didn't know about that until we checked in on the day of the wedding. This was one of the only hotels in the area that would let you have a room block for 10 rooms that you would not be 90% responsible for. Overall it’s a nice place for a room block and convenient, but pricey and not the best customer service.
The staff at this hotel is amazing! We had rooms blocked off for our wedding and Jeffrey was so helpful in setting it up and getting me all the information I needed. The bridal par...
ty also got ready here and the staff was very accommodating in getting us more towels, an extension cord, and various other items we needed. We also all stayed up very late in the hotel lobby after the wedding which was the perfect after party.
This was a great location for our room block for our wedding at the Danversport Yatch Club. We rented a school bus to shuttle people to/from before and after the reception.

the sales manager was very accommodating about blocking rooms together, working out our package as needed, etc.
My husband and I, and my parents, got the suites to stay in which were both a decent size.
We rented a room for the girls to get ready in for about $100.
The rooms were about $150 each. They also were ok with us having a small gathering in the lobby after the reception so we did not disturb other hotel guests.
Overall great experience!
