ay of our wedding. I am so glad I ended up working with her and couldn’t recommend her more! Before the wedding, we took engagement pictures and had a few calls to confirm what we were looking for/schedule.
Lushi is so so SO talented. She truly captures the moments and the feelings, not just a “picture”. Her work is art. I’m so happy with the photos I’ve already received (sent me a preview with 20+ photos less than 24 hours later). I am lucky I’ll get to look back at her work throughout my life and have it hanging on my walls.
Beyond loving the photos, Lushi was a pleasure as a person. The photographer you choose is someone that ends up spending the entire day with you on a very emotional and important day. Lushi has such a calming and happy nature, I was so happy to have her with us. She really helped to put me at ease the entire day.

lanned for a couple back in the summer of 2019. She was an associate photographer for that wedding and did an excellent job. I later used Lushi for headshot photos and more recently we regrouped and worked together on a styled wedding shoot. Lushi takes absolutely beautiful photos and she is super kind and fun to work with. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding photographer! I can't wait to work with her again!

t was critical given that I was living in Boston, Yuki was living in Osaka, and we were planning a wedding in Oregon.
On the lead up to the wedding, Lushi stayed in contact, making sure that everything was looking OK and even asking us if we needed any help or advice regarding the wedding planning. Then, on the day of, she arrived right when she said she would, and was extremely kind with everyone she interacted with. My mom raved about how nice and professional she was, and Lushi even practiced up on her Japanese so that she could interact better with Yuki's family.
When we got the the pictures about a month after the wedding, they were beautiful. Honestly some of the best photos I'd seen of my family, and definitely the best of Yuki and I. Her camera is very high resolution, and the movement and editing in many of the photos is some of the best I've seen. Nothing is over-edited, and the quality is magnificent.
Cannot recommend Lushi enough.

ural pro... which is why I had asked her in the first place. I knew her as a work buddy outside of photography but one day, saw her tinkering with her high tech camera and saw these cool shots she had taken of everyone at a casual work party. From there I asked her to do my engagement photos and eventually wedding day.
First, Lushis' photography is stunning. For my wedding, she made a lot of black and white, fades and old vintage, whimsical, but modern shots. She nailed it exactly as I wanted. Second, Lushi is extremely easy going and makes you feel like the photography aspect of your day is covered and that it is one less thing to worry about as a Bride, that day.
The best part of Lushis' approach was that she "does her magic" without imposing a presence. She wasn't bossy or dictatorial. In fact, you kind of forget she is there, she fades into the background of the party so that none of it is poised and you don't feel like every moment you have to turn around, pose, hold it, pose! I got to be very-in the -moment at my wedding throughout the entire day because Lushi quietly in the background, is taking stunning photos of everyone. Every moment of the day surrounded the wedding, engaging with guests and interacting, NOT posing for pictures. The big bonus of this is while I did not have to be striking a pose for the photographer, she was getting the BEST, natural shots of me and my husband ANYWAY. That is my favorite kind of photographer! I can't recommend her enough.
