Very entertaining DJ and loved having them be a part of our big day! Great at keep guests happy and made sure everyone was having a good time.
We did the DIY equipment from DJ Songbird, and the price was perfect for our budget. The equipment was easy to set up the day of. My friends that were helping me with the equipme...
nt called DJ Songbird the day of my wedding because they needed help regarding the cords. They felt as if the people were being very rude to them, and they got no help in fixing the issue. We also had some specific issues with the laptop that was given to us to use. I was very disappointed in this. Price wise it worked, but I would not recommend their services to anyone.
Songbird called and checked in multiple times and were very conscious of unique situations for our wedding. We were two brides in our middle aged prime, so the wedding was less tha...
n traditional. They took it all in stride and were wonderful from beginning to end.
They are so great! They make sure that you have everything you need and they play the best dancing music!
DJ Walt was fantastic! He was interactive with the kids, kept the ceremony flowing at a natural pace, and really listened to the crowd. We enjoyed working with them!
Our DJ really knew how to throw a party with our guests!! We ended up having to go an extra hour since everyone was always on the dance floor!
We had so many guests comment on ...
how great he was - he brought extra lights of his own to mix in with our uplighting/dance floor lights, was funny and personable, and had all of the songs that were requested.
I wish we could do the whole reception again so that we could continue dancing! My only call out - and this is NOT the DJ's fault - but make sure you ask to play more than just one slow song. My one regret is that I only danced with my husband one time...
I found Songbird at a bridal event about 9 months before my wedding.
Prior to our wedding, which was at a brand new venue in the area, Songbird sent out an expert to meet me an...
d the event owner to make sure and canvass the new location to make sure they could be as effective as possible.
During the time I was communicating with them, they were pretty responsive by email and phone, which is important as you get closer to the wedding date because more questions always come up.
We were assigned to the DJ named Tommy Patterson and he was OUTSTANDING! I cannot give him high enough reviews. He knew that we wanted to play music off our specially made playlists and he followed them well. He was calm, upbeat, and professional at the ceremony and reception and did a great job looking for and following cues as to when we needed certain songs. We also made some adjustments on the fly and he handled them with ease.
I recommend Songbird because they were able to tailor some specific songs to my need and put forth the extra effort to make sure I felt comfortable using them in a brand new venue.
We had a band (Flying Toasters from Indianapolis, highly recommend) but we still needed DJ services. Amazing to work with and kept everyone dancing after the band was finished.
They were great!
I went with a hometown favorite, and I couldn't be happier. I was planning my wedding from (literally) thousands of miles away, and Songbird didn't miss a beat. They were more th...
an willing to work with my constraints and were professional and courteous throughout the process. The DJ "read" the dance floor and played what people wanted to hear; everyone had a great time dancing at the reception!
It was great, but the DJ chose to comment to some of our guests about the amount of alcohol some of the wedding party was drinking and I found that to be invasive and rude.
Larry did his best to reach our expectations and did a good job. I know the music could have been better if we had been more specific about our desires. For that reason, we give th...
em a good review, but not outstanding. If you contract Songbird, we would recommend being as specific as possible, and we're sure that they can completely meet your expectations.
