When it came to wedding day florals, I had one thing in mind: color, and lots of it. I had a vision of an array of multicolored, organic bouquets, centerpieces, and other designs t...
hat played into the vibrant aesthetic of our venue, and complimented the varying colors of my bridesmaids’ dresses. When I spoke with Debra at Songbird Florals about my vision for wedding day florals, she not only assured me that she was up to the task, but was so enthusiastic about my ideas that I knew she was the right person to bring it to life. She even agreed to do an additional round of florals for a religious ceremony we had the day before our big celebration.
I first got a taste of Debra’s work at my bridal shower, where she put together gorgeous springtime bud vases, and it only made me more excited for our big day. She is an expert with color and design, and her work elevates a space in the most elegant way. From that point forward, I was so excited to see what she would do on our wedding day, and she completely smashed my expectations out of the park. The first piece I saw was my bouquet, and it truly took my breath away. The way that she perfectly blended all of our wedding colors and celebrated the natural beauty of the flowers was truly expert level work. The bridesmaids’ bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres all echoed that design and created a really beautiful and cohesive style across the entire wedding party and family members.
For our ceremony, I envisioned a grounded floral arch alongside aisle pieces, and Debra’s execution of this vision was flawless. During the cocktail hour, there were bud vases throughout the space containing stems of the flowers included in the other floral displays. Debra herself transferred the pieces from the ceremony into the ballroom for the sweetheart table at the reception, where there were stunning, unique centerpieces on every table. I really appreciated this level of detail and care.
Throughout the entire day, the florals created an absolutely exquisite atmosphere for our wedding. Many of our guests commented that they were the most beautiful wedding florals they had ever seen. They really contributed to a cohesive design aesthetic across each event of our wedding day. Debra truly brought my vision to life in a manner even more beautiful that I had envisioned, and she did so professionally and enthusiastically. I would recommend Songbird Florals to any couple looking for a florist who will listen to them, take care of them, and bring their vision to life beyond their wildest dreams.

Oh my goodness, I could not have more amazing things to say about Deb and her talents and how she BROUGHT them to our wedding day. Florals are a piece of the wedding that truly ele...
vate everything and because of Deb's florals, our wedding day was above and beyond what we could have expected, it was magical. The creative details she added to the arrangements along with thoughtfully placed color brought all decor together perfectly. We had multiple pre-day meetings with Deb and she truly understood what we were trying to accomplish, but made it even better. There are so many details and floral placements you can't forget about and Deb and team were able to cover them all. They even moved florals from the ceremony to the reception tent to help us save on costs. Highly recommend Deb and the Songbird Floral Designs team and also highly recommend doing the boutonniere pocket squares, a full flower arch, a king's table and ALL THE THINGS. Thank you Deb!!!! <3
Debra transformed our wedding vision to real life!
She was such a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive whenever we were to reach out in the planning process.

one at our wedding kept talking about how beautiful all the arrangements were and I couldn’t get over them I wanted to take them all home with us!
On top of everything else right before our wedding she had a foot injury and showed up in a wheel chair and had help from her kind husband and son.
We are so thankful for Debra’s commitment to getting it done for us and would recommend no one else but her for the florals at your upcoming wedding!
We had Songbird Floral for our wedding flowers. The process of ordering was incredibly easy and stress free, and the flowers were gorgeous! We were very happy and highly recommend!...
Debra did an incredible job with the florals for our wedding in Newport, RI! She was easy to work with, efficient, and flexible, especially when my vision changed a bit leading up ...
to the wedding day! She was willing to make tweaks and suggestions to our set up to make the most impact on the venue and evening for our budget which was so incredibly helpful. It's also worth mentioning our venue requires set up to happen in an hour and a half flat, and Debra made it happen. The gold stands she used for our tall arrangements were perfect for the room and the perfect height (no blocked guests). She also sourced the tall skinny tapered candles I was looking for in time for the wedding which was much appreciated! Everything was beautiful, thank you so much for everything Debra!! We are so thankful!
Let me first start off by saying I know nothing about flowers. When I met with Deborah and told her my vision ( just describing color palettes) and my budget she told me she could...
make it happen and she absolutely blew me out of the water. She sent me photos of the specific flowers she was planning on using in my proposal since I do not know names and my arrangements and bouquets came out more gorgeous than I can explain. She told me she would use the best seasonal blooms and these fall flowers were to die for. So big, vibrant and such a beautiful mix of greens and textures. I had guests coming up to me telling me these were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen at a wedding, begging to take them home. I even decided to find someone to press my bouquet because I loved it so much. Deborah came to my house to visit our "venue" and also offered to come back later the day of our wedding after setting up to move my arch flowers to my sweetheart table to help me cut costs and reuse the flowers I purchased. 20/10 would recommend. Thank you for everything Deborah!

her great reviews, I decided to give it a go. After our first discussion and showing her exactly what I wanted, I knew she would nail it. She was super professional and thorough about knowing all of the details. She even came across some delivery struggles and was able to overcome it all. My florals played a HUGE part in my wedding day so when I saw them being delivered that day, my heart nearly stopped. Everything was absolutely STUNNING! She nailed the vibe 100%! I can't even begin to explain the countless compliments we received on the florals. Everything was gorgeous and perfect. I truly couldn't recommend her enough. 10/10

Deb did an amazing work at my wedding on 8/20/20. I just texted her a picture from Pinterest of how I imagined my bouquet would look like, and she put it together exactly like that...
!! I loved my bouquet and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. I'm actually going to have it preserved! She was very organized and thorough and also very patient and kind with me when I had all kinds of questions come up and I would text her at random times during wedding planning. The center pieces, the aisle runners, the cake decoration, everything else in addition to my bouquet was also beautiful. She also coordinated for and decorated the huppah (wedding canopy) and it was so gorgeous, exactly how I had dreamed it would be! Oh and also, amidst the craziness of planning, I didn't give her the correct time to deliver the bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets at the getting-ready site and when I texted her in panic asking if she could bring them right away (as opposed to an hour later), she was extremely understanding and made it super soon despite the short notice. I would recommend Deb and Songbird Floral Designs without any hesitation. Just book her!

ing in business. But Deb always knows exactly what the person wants. And creates it with such artistic ability that it blows my mind! When it came to my wedding I did not have any other florist in mine but you go directly to her. And I was not disappointed. She did the most amazing job. And those flowers were the highlight of the day. She even decorated my cake!

g my favorite, transitioning the floral garland from the arbor - which we rented from her - to the sweetheart table after the ceremony. THE MOST GENIUS IDEA!). The bouquets and centerpieces were beyond what I imagined. They were absolutely stunning! I cannot say enough good things. She is an artist and so wonderful to work with!
Let’s be honest. Finding a florist for your wedding can single handedly be one of the most stressful parts of planning. You essentially are looking for someone to place all of your...
trust in to bring your whole vision together. And to top it off, most of the time you aren’t even sure what everything will look like once it is all together.
I searched far and wide for a florist for my recent August, Newport wedding, coming up short far too many times. Hiring Debra was by far the greatest decision I made. I was immediately put at ease after I met her for the first time. She was the first florist who actually listened intently to what I was looking for, understood my vision and didn’t tell me no. And to top it off, she was the only florist who didn’t roll her eyes at my budget. There was no doubt in my mind that I had to work with her.
Debra was the sweetest most humble woman and incredibly easy to work with. I looked at her work a lot in the months leading up to my big day and knew my flowers would be beautiful, but I could never have imagined how absolutely amazing they would be that day. My jaw literally hit the ground when I saw my bouquet and my room. I have never seen anything like it and I have been hearing the same from my guests since. Her work belongs in a magazine!!
Not a single detail was overlooked. No flowers out of place. All the colors where exactly how I pictured. She absolutely nailed my vision and my day would not have been the same without her!
Debra has a true passion for what she does and it emanates off of her the minute you meet her. You cannot go wrong with Songbird, there is no one better!!!

Deb was able to produce a sample of what our centerpiece would look like, and offer advice on how to refine our plan to make sure it was perfect. hing about them! She was able to stay and work within our budget and had previously done an event at our venue which was a huge reason we chose her. We got married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport RI this past Memorial Day. We are a very colorful couple in general and she made unique and creative arrangements that reflected our personalities perfectly! Our guests are still in awe of how amazing the flowers were at our wedding. Debra was even able to repurpose our ceremony flowers hanging on the chairs by moving them into the reception hall near the bar and dessert areas. She was quick to accommodate our indoor (plan B) ceremony when it started raining the day of our wedding. She came prepared with a beautiful wrought iron arch way for the inside ceremony to help give some prominence to the end of the isle where we stood. Also repurposing the arch flowers onto our head table for the reception. As a bride its not easy to describe your vision to a florist, especially not knowing flower terms but Debra went above and beyond her creative ability for our wedding! She also made a beautiful garland of greenery that ran along our long farm table for the bridal party. It was just stunning! Debra was so flexible to work with and made me feel at ease with all my weather worries too. I would recommend her in a heart beat!
