We had Songbird Floral for our wedding flowers. The process of ordering was incredibly easy and stress free, and the flowers were gorgeous! We were very happy and highly recommend!

Debra did an incredible job with the florals for our wedding in Newport, RI! She was easy to work with, efficient, and flexible, especially when my vision changed a bit leading up to the wedding day! She was willing to make tweaks and suggestions to our set up to make the most impact on the venue and evening for our budget which was so incredibly helpful. It's also worth mentioning our venue requires set up to happen in an hour and a half flat, and Debra made it happen. The gold stands she used for our tall arrangements were perfect for the room and the perfect height (no blocked guests). She also sourced the tall skinny tapered candles I was looking for in time for the wedding which was much appreciated! Everything was beautiful, thank you so much for everything Debra!! We are so thankful!

Let me first start off by saying I know nothing about flowers. When I met with Deborah and told her my vision ( just describing color palettes) and my budget she told me she could make it happen and she absolutely blew me out of the water. She sent me photos of the specific flowers she was planning on using in my proposal since I do not know names and my arrangements and bouquets came out more gorgeous than I can explain. She told me she would use the best seasonal blooms and these fall flowers were to die for. So big, vibrant and such a beautiful mix of greens and textures. I had guests coming up to me telling me these were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen at a wedding, begging to take them home. I even decided to find someone to press my bouquet because I loved it so much. Deborah came to my house to visit our "venue" and also offered to come back later the day of our wedding after setting up to move my arch flowers to my sweetheart table to help me cut costs and reuse the flowers I purchased. 20/10 would recommend. Debra was great to work with! I had multiple changes as my wedding day approached and she did excellent keeping up with it all! The flowers were beautiful and just what I dreamed!!

I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous about hiring a florist because I knew what I wanted was not traditional florals in the least. But after seeing Debra's work and reading her great reviews, I decided to give it a go. After our first discussion and showing her exactly what I wanted, I knew she would nail it. She was super professional and thorough about knowing all of the details. She even came across some delivery struggles and was able to overcome it all. My florals played a HUGE part in my wedding day so when I saw them being delivered that day, my heart nearly stopped. Everything was absolutely STUNNING! She nailed the vibe 100%! I can't even begin to explain the countless compliments we received on the florals. Everything was gorgeous and perfect. I truly couldn't recommend her enough. 10/10

Debra was amazing to work with for my September wedding. Florals was the one area where I didn't have a set vision, but after speaking with Debra I felt like she understood what I wanted even if I couldn't fully articulate it. Our flowers for our wedding were simply gorgeous. I gave Debra an idea of what I wanted and she did that x1000; she totally brought it to life and my jaw hit the floor when I saw my bouquets and the venue. Debra read my mind and put together exactly what I was imagining for my flowers! Immediately after talking to her I knew she understood my vision and she completely put my mind at ease. She took care of setting up the centerpiece elements that I DIYed to go along with the flowers. She searched high and low to fund the exact flowers I requested even when supplies were limited and she delivered exactly what I dreamed of! My guests were all impressed with the beautiful centerpieces and floral elements of the wedding!

Deb did an amazing work at my wedding on 8/20/20. I just texted her a picture from Pinterest of how I imagined my bouquet would look like, and she put it together exactly like that!! I loved my bouquet and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. I'm actually going to have it preserved! She was very organized and thorough and also very patient and kind with me when I had all kinds of questions come up and I would text her at random times during wedding planning. The center pieces, the aisle runners, the cake decoration, everything else in addition to my bouquet was also beautiful. She also coordinated for and decorated the huppah (wedding canopy) and it was so gorgeous, exactly how I had dreamed it would be! Oh and also, amidst the craziness of planning, I didn't give her the correct time to deliver the bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets at the getting-ready site and when I texted her in panic asking if she could bring them right away (as opposed to an hour later), she was extremely understanding and made it super soon despite the short notice. I would recommend Deb and Songbird Floral Designs without any hesitation. Just book her!

I cannot say enough about Songbird Florist! Deb is amazing! Everything she touches is magic! I am in the wedding industry, and I’ve seen a lot of floral designs of my decades of being in business. But Deb always knows exactly what the person wants. And creates it with such artistic ability that it blows my mind! When it came to my wedding I did not have any other florist in mine but you go directly to her. And I was not disappointed. She did the most amazing job. And those flowers were the highlight of the day. She even decorated my cake!

Debra is the best! We first met at her home, she made me feel so comfortable and was so helpful when discussing my ideas. She also had so many amazing ideas of her own (including my favorite, transitioning the floral garland from the arbor - which we rented from her - to the sweetheart table after the ceremony. Let’s be honest. Finding a florist for your wedding can single handedly be one of the most stressful parts of planning. You essentially are looking for someone to place all of your trust in to bring your whole vision together. And to top it off, most of the time you aren’t even sure what everything will look like once it is all together. I searched far and wide for a florist for my recent August, Newport wedding, coming up short far too many times. Hiring Debra was by far the greatest decision I made. I was immediately put at ease after I met her for the first time. She was the first florist who actually listened intently to what I was looking for, understood my vision and didn’t tell me no. I worked with Debra for my wedding in Newport, RI. Saying Debra is great is a total understatement, she's incredible! The ABSOLUTE best ! From start to finish, I felt comfortable the whole time making any decisions. Debra was attentive and asked questions to make sure her team could execute and my gosh did she deliver! Debra was so easy to work with! She understood our vision from the very first meeting and she had so many great ideas to help our vision come to life. We used a lot of florals from the centerpieces to our succulent escort cards to floral details on our wedding cake. All of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! Debra provided the flowers for my wedding at Ocean Cliff and did an amazing job. She compleatly understood my vision of the day and brought it to life. She decorated the ballroom for the reception with a pergola she provided as well as lanterns and flower petals down the aisle exactly as I had envisioned. Our centerpieces, bouquets and additional decor items also came out beautifully and everything was very reasonably priced.

It was so nice to work with Debra and to come up with the perfect flower arrangement for our wedding. She was always available whenever I had a question with quick response. I cannot even begin to describe how AMAZING our wedding flowers turned out! Debra was able to capture our vision perfectly with so many vibrant colors and textures! We loved everything about them! She was able to stay and work within our budget and had previously done an event at our venue which was a huge reason we chose her. We got married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport RI this past Memorial Day. We are a very colorful couple in general and she made unique and creative arrangements that reflected our personalities perfectly! Our guests are still in awe of how amazing the flowers were at our wedding. Debra was even able to repurpose our ceremony flowers hanging on the chairs by moving them into the reception hall near the bar and dessert areas. She was quick to accommodate our indoor (plan B) ceremony when it started raining the day of our wedding. She came prepared with a beautiful wrought iron arch way for the inside ceremony to help give some prominence to the end of the isle where we stood. Also repurposing the arch flowers onto our head table for the reception. As a bride its not easy to describe your vision to a florist, especially not knowing flower terms but Debra went above and beyond her creative ability for our wedding! She also made a beautiful garland of greenery that ran along our long farm table for the bridal party. It was just stunning! Debra was so flexible to work with and made me feel at ease with all my weather worries too. I would recommend her in a heart beat!

Came through in a crunch! We chose to have a quick wedding due to some last minute life changes. My 1st choice florist was booked and could not help us even a little. I had remembered seeing Debra's work in the past a friends wedding and a funeral so approached her for help. In less than a month she got my ideas and translated them into stunning...and I mean stunning bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding. Although my wedding ended up smaller than I ever thought the flowers made it feel like it was luxe and special. She worked within my budget too and that was fantastic.
