Amazing at what they do! They know where to place people and will help you with posing if you are awkward like me! Everything went so smoothly and they made my day less stressful! You cannot go wrong with the Songy photography!
Ricky and Staci are the absolute BEST! Professional, experienced, personable, they check all the boxes of who you’d want to capture your special day! And pictures… STUNNING. Words can’t even describe how beautiful they came out.
I have waited a long time to write this because I cry every time I think about my wedding photos. My mother in law picked out and paid for this photographer for my wedding. I look at the photos this business posts online and the photos are beautiful. I'm honestly not sure what happened at my wedding, but there was not a single good photo. It's been over a year and I still haven't printed any of my wedding photos. The photographer had one camera and did not appear to have any other lenses or anything. Every wedding Ive been to, the photographer typically has a case with several other lenses to capture the details in different ways, this one did not. This photographer didnt even take photos of my table decor or any small details like that. The photos of my husband and I were all posed so awkwardly. Others got cell phone shots of my husband and I that look better than the photos this photographer captured. What's worse, he didn't ask anyone to stop to smile for a photo walking down the aisle. So half of my wedding party is looking off or just were obviously not ready for a photo. My dad and I dont even have a decent photo walking me down the aisle. The best photos of the night were of my niece as the flower girl and some of the candids. When I received the final product, I had to ask for the raw images because every photo they released just looked like a super bright, high contrast filter was used on every single one. My wedding venue was bright enough for photos but had subtle soft lighting so I was very disappointed with the harsh flashed-out images. They wouldn't send me the raw images for me to get someone else to edit unless I sent them a larger flash drive. They never asked how they could make the photos better. I'm heart broken and confused by how my photos came out versus what they post online. I know they are capable of taking better photos, they just simply didn't for my wedding and I'm not sure why. Just be forewarned that what they post online must be their very best work only.
Ricky and Staci were top notch wedding photographers! They made sure to get a great mixture of candid and staged photos. They made us feel comfortable while we were getting ready and made sure to capture the highlights of our wedding day/night and more! We will cherish the photos they captured for a lifetime and would recommend them to anyone for their big day!
Ricky and Staci are amazing! Our biggest worry on our wedding day was that we’d spend more time taking pictures than enjoying the day, as had been our experience in weddings before. This was not the case with the Songys at all. Great at giving directions for posing and getting great shots quickly. I’m usually awkward, but they made me feel like a rockstar bride! Loved working with them and will definitely be booking them for my future photography needs!!
Can’t express enough how amazing Stacey and Ricky were for our entire process. From booking to corona wedding planning to the actual day and even months later with getting things ordered Etc. Ricky captured amazing moments of our day and we are forever grateful for that! Thanks so much guys!

As the mother of the bride you want your daughters wedding to be perfect and the pictures to show the beauty you see in your daughter. Ricky and Staci Songy did that. Ricky and Staci did a phenomenal job taking photos for our engagement session, bridal session, and wedding day. They truly grew to know both of us during the time leading up to our wedding day; I cannot imagine having anyone else take photos of our most treasured moments together. When we finally sat down to choose our wedding album photos, we both had a difficult time narrowing down our selection—all of the pictures captured every moment so beautifully, and the clarity of each image was perfect! Whenever we had questions, Ricky and Staci were both readily available by phone and email; in turn, the photo process ran smoothly and stress-free from beginning to end. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing they both were to work with. I look forward to scheduling them in the future for professional photo sessions!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS AROUND!!! Seriously!! Staci and Ricky truly made my day perfect! They were all over the place shooting pictures of ALL our guests and capturing amazing candid shots I never would have known took place. VERY personable and VERY sweet!! They are both so nice and we really helped calm my nerves on my wedding day. Also, the pictures came in within 3 weeks, and we had such a hard time selecting our favorites because they were all perfect. I would recommend them to anyone!

I found Ricky and Staci at Lakeside Shopping Center bridal expo in 2015. I loved their work, and they seemed like genuinely down to earth and kind people, so I booked them for engagement photos. Ricky was great and patient with us on a very hot and humid day in Audubon Park. We were so pleased, we requested them to be our wedding photographers. From the beginning they have been professional, patient, understanding, easy to reach, and have given us beautiful photos! They were one of the only stress free parts of my wedding planning! HIGHLY recommend them .

What can I say? SONGY is the BEST! Ricky and Staci truly make the perfect team. As I bride, I wanted my photographers to get to know us personally to be able to take photos that were "us", and they truly did with every photo that was captured. I can't say enough great things about Ricky and Staci Songy! We knew we had picked the right photographers during our engagement session. Ricky made us feel so comfortable even though I was nervous and worried it would show through in pictures. When we got our pictures back, it just confirmed that we had the right photographers. Pre bridals were a breeze! He traveled all the way to Houmas house to shoot and he even fixed my dress or flowers or hair even though it was a windy day, he caught some amazing shots! As for the wedding, I don't know how they did it, but they managed to capture everything we wanted including our huge bridal party of 24! They made me and my husband as well as the rest of the parents and bridal party feel completely relaxed and we had a blast with them! My family and I truly feel like they are family now. The pictures are exceptional! The prices were great compared to competitors! I highly recommend!

Songy Photography is a MUST when booking your wedding photographers!! Ricky did such an amazing job during my engagement photos and bridal portraits. He really knows how to get your "best side"! All the pictures were STUNNING! When it came time for the wedding, Ricky and Staci did such a fantastic job while the bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting ready. Once it was time to go the church, Ricky and Staci were right there capturing all the special moments. Afterwards, this dynamic duo managed to catch all the fun and exciting moments at the reception, including grooving on the dance floor, cake cutting, garter and flower toss, and of course all the goofy antics the groomsmen pulled.
