on, a string duet for when we walked down the aisle, a jazz band for the cocktail hour, and DJ with saxophone playing along for the reception! We also used Sonic Rue for our photobooth and hologram. With so many moving pieces, I was worried something may go wrong, but Chris and his team had everything under control. They were extremely organized and even gave me a worksheet to fill out ahead of the wedding to ensure we had a plan. A few highlights -- the band agreed to play an extra hour at our welcome reception and everyone loved them, the guests also loved the saxophone player who was out on the dance floor during our reception, the photobooth was a big hit and we loved being able to see all of the pictures after the event, and the dance floor/music never slowed down (which is exactly what I requested from Chris). Our wedding weekend was perfect and Sonic Rue was a big reason why it was so special! Thanks Chris + team!

The ceremony music was just what we had hoped for, and the live jazz during cocktail hour was a huge hit with our guests. Chris on saxophone and Jeremias on piano were incredible musicians and added such an elevated feel to the wedding. Chris had everyone on the dance floor and kept the energy up throughout the night, even working in some of my requested songs that were less wedding, more emo (lol) including a song that had my entire bridal party up and scream-singing towards the end of the reception - a highlight for me for sure. Chris’ dad Mark was the photo booth attendant and he was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive for everyone going back and forth to the booth all night. Chris even took a few video clips of our pre-ceremony pictures, ceremony, first dance, and some of the reception, which was incredible as we didn’t have a videographer. All in all, I am so happy with Chris and Sonic Rue, he really made our wedding above and beyond what we had hoped for.

A few weeks before the wedding we met with Jackson and he took the time to really understand the vibe we were going for and made suggestions that helped to elevate the overall atmosphere of the wedding. On the day of they arrived early and set up without any issues, making sure everything was perfect before the guests arrived. The music selection was spot on. Jackson played a great mix of songs that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The transitions were smooth and the energy was high throughout the night. He even took requests from our guests and managed to seamlessly incorporate them into the playlist. We also added the photo booth to our package and it was a hit with our guests. The props were awesome, they had great backgrounds and custom photo strips to choose from. Not only do they have the prints right there, the next day we were sent a file of jpegs from every photo from the booth throughout the night and they all showed what a great time our friends and family had. What really the whole experience apart was their professional demeanor and attention to detail. They made sure to keep the night flowing smoothly and kept in constant communication with the other vendors to ensure everything ran on schedule.
