eat day. They were meeting for the first time the day of the wedding and we were pretty nervous. Sonja made us feel so comfortable. Her energy was exactly what we needed on our big day. She was calm and goofy and fun and she made us feel great! None of the photos were staged with awkward poses. We loved the natural, candid style that she shot in. She was able to portray some pretty special and intimate moments in a beautifully artistic way. Everything felt so natural and she was excited with every shot she got which made us feel great that our pictures were coming out so fantastic-which they did! She made us feel really special about the way our way was being captured on film. At the end of the night we asked Sonja and Max to put their gear down and party with us. They were so much an important and wonderful part of our day. We are so thankful we found them! I would HIGHLY recommend Sonja and Max for any shoot! They are very talented professionals that feel more like friends than hired photographers.

nect, and engage with us like we were long lost friends. There was no weirdness or long pauses, it was just a fun meeting where we collectively got excited about the upcoming wedding. I knew instantly that I didn't have to/want to/need to meet with any other photographers, because I wasn't going to find a better fit. Our engagement shoot was so detailed, involved, and amazing. I've always felt shy and awkward in front of the camera and Sonja was able to bring my inner model out and create enough space for me to feel comfortable, and safe to express myself. She also plays rad music, drives a bad ass jeep, and kept me laughing the entire time which definitely helped. Leading up to the wedding she helped me plan a few recreation shots from my families wedding and reminded me of them on the wedding day when I had completely forgotten. Her and Max made the family photos painless, and they were both down to traipse around our farm venue and take a bunch of pics with the farm equipment. I loved the flexibility, and willingness she had to help create a vision. The pictures I have seen so far (wedding was two weeks ago) are my exact vision. She took what I couldn't put into words and created the most magical set of pictures. Sonja's attention to detail, work-ethic, and kick-ass personality make her the perfect combo. She's the kind of lady that'll make you say, "I want to be her when I grow up" (Cause I do too) Thank you for all that you did for us <3 xoxoxo
