We really enjoyed our stay at Sonoma stone house, very unique and cozy place to stay. We will definitely be back to stay, lots of cute places to eat close by.

We had an amazing stay at Sonoma Stonehouse for a women’s retreat in Sonoma. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for group getaways or retreats. It’s tucked in a great location—close to Sonoma wineries but still feels private and rel...
axing.
The rooms were a highlight—each bedroom has its own private bathroom with a jetted tub, which felt incredibly luxurious and made it easy for everyone to have their own space. The layout is perfect for groups, whether you’re hosting a retreat, girls’ weekend, or small event.
If you’re searching for large group lodging in Sonoma, this is an excellent option. It strikes the perfect balance between comfort, privacy, and upscale amenities.
Overall, this is one of the best Sonoma retreat properties we’ve stayed at. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale group stay near Sonoma wine country. We would absolutely come back.

Comfy beds, large rooms, nicely appointed lobby with minimalist coffee bar plus coffee and tea in the rooms. The setting is kinda funny. No staff on site. Cool old building.

I stayed at the Stonehouse for the first time while attending a large convention at the Santa Rose Fairgrounds.
Upon entering the lobby, I was taken back by the beautiful artwork and lovely sitting spaces. Sitting in the lobby, you get a nice ...
view of the outdoor patio area with seating and umbrellas. For business travelers, this was an ideal spot to set up a laptop.
There was complimentary coffee available self-serve which was appreciated after a long flight and in the mornings as I prepared for the convention.
Room was terrific. I would describe it as "no-frills" but very tasteful, functional, very clean, and with a lot of neat artwork that really reinforces the boutique hotel feel - artistic, unique, and elegant. Bathroom/shower was spotless and obvious even the housekeeping takes pride in their work.
Staff and maintenance was very friendly and genuinely cared about guests and their experience. Upon leaving, the owner happened to be in the building and asked me how my stay was. After talking with him for several minutes about the building, my stay (it was terrific), and all the artwork displayed, he gifted me two Stonehouse glasses as a "Thank You".
I will definitely stay again when I'm in Santa Rosa.

I stayed 6 nights at Stonehouse and unfortunately I can’t say many positive things. My room, number 9, was not soundproof at all. At 4:30 in the morning you could already hear cars speeding right under the balcony, as the building is literally ...
on the road. The noise is extremely loud and the windows don’t block it at all. On top of that, the curtains don’t fully cover the window, so a lot of light comes in as well.
The room and overall environment were very hot, and if you turned on the air conditioning it was too strong, making the room freezing cold—there’s no middle ground.
Although the structure itself could be nice, the location is not ideal and the noise is just too excessive. There is no kitchen or any additional service; you only have the room with a microwave. In my room there wasn’t even a table, so I couldn’t eat comfortably.
Overall, quite disappointing.
