Sonora Ensemble is AMAZING. We asked them to play for our hindu ceremony at our backyard wedding. They had never done an indian wedding before and were so flexible when it came to ...
the rehearsal. I cannot recommend them enough - they even took the time to learn 5 bollywood songs that I handpicked. One of the songs did not have any music composition to follow so THEY WROTE THEIR OWN!! And gave me a copy of the composition as a gift. They are both so kind, friendly, talented. Don't hesitate to choose them.
When I say that Lynnaea’s cello performance made my wedding, I mean she MADE my wedding! Her performance was an absolute dream come true. I asked Lynnaea to play Bach’s iconic “Cel...
lo Suite No. 1,” which has long been one of my favorites. Even in the midst of walking down the aisle, I was captivated by the talent, passion, and tenderness of Lynnaea’s playing, making that moment even sweeter and more beautiful. I think about it now every time I hear the song.
Professionally and technically, Lynnaea was a delight to work with. She communicated early and clearly and anticipated many of my needs and questions, and she has excellent musical taste, providing suggestions for the emotional needs of the wedding. She arrived early and dressed professionally for both the rehearsal and wedding (which many musicians don’t!), and she planned and made adjustments for multiple scenarios in the timing down the aisle. A musician’s ability to time the music is crucial, and she pays careful attention to the entire processional. And of course, it is important to note that she herself is charming! Easy going, wonderful to talk to, and sweet. Thank you, Lynnaea, for making my wedding unforgettable!
Lynnaea provided music at my lakeside wedding alongside our family friend, and I was really pleased with her performance and professionalism. She was well-prepared, played beautifu...
lly, and even arranged music so they could play the songs I requested! The live music made our ceremony even more magical and helped tell our story with the songs that are special to us. Not only does she play beautifully, her kindness, character, and reliability made her the obvious choice. If you’re looking for live music for your wedding, your search is over….Lynnaea is wonderful! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality music for their ceremony.
Esther and Lynnaea were the perfect ensemble for our wedding. It was an intimate setting where the music would be front and center, but they played flawlessly and did not disappoin...
t. They had great communication the whole time and made recommendations for song choices, confirming everything with us beforehand and being available for the wedding rehearsal. We also found the duo of flute and cello really unique and beautiful, and it was special to have that caliber of music on our wedding day. It brought the level of class and timelessness we wanted. Would 10/10 recommend this group to anyone looking for a great event music experience.
Esther and Lynnaea provided live music at our annual women’s bible conference for which I was the event coordinator. This year’s event was held at a cottage acreage outside the cit...
y, and I wanted to set the right tone for the day. Even in this unconventional setting, I was really happy with what Esther and Lynnaea were able to bring to the event. Starting with live worship music was a perfect way to open up the event and helped everyone mentally disconnect from their day-to-day and get into a peaceful focused mindset for the content we had planned. Listening to the flute and cello echo across the field was so nice. This is a great ensemble for your special event! They were an absolute pleasure to work with - prompt, professional, so kind and flexible. I cannot recommend them more highly!
