I had everything in order and a list of videographers popped up on the home page, even though I was totally set on not having one. Out of curiosity, I decided to peruse the recommendations. I looked at a couple of vendors, not entirely convinced until I looked at Sophia’s portfolio. I was sold. After I watched some of her work, I was so captivated by her editing style, which was not your typical cookie cutter wedding videos. I loved the tones, the overlays, and composition of the way she filmed. I knew I wanted this style of video to capture the essence of my wedding day. Since it was two weeks before the wedding date, I didn’t think I could actually get anyone so last second, but I sent her an inquiry with some of our wedding details anyway. A few hours later, I got a text from an unknown number asking me to check my spam folder. It turned out to be Sophia, who told me she was available and sent me all of her information right away! I knew it was meant to be. I was so glad she texted me otherwise I wouldn’t have seen it, but we went ahead and scheduled a video call and the rest is history! I just got my video today and I can assure you that you will love your video!!! Also she’s super nice and lovely to work with!!

The vibe on all her work was captivating and stood out from everyone else we had looked at. Most of all, we wanted special attention paid to capturing our wedding dance, which we had spent many months practicing. Sophia executed this perfectly. She also seemed plugged in to the scene in Kauai and collaborated seamlessly with our wedding photographer who we had hired separately. This is a wedding film in art form. At instances when we were about to move on to the next phase of the wedding she insured we did not miss an inspired moment. It was like sparks of imagination combined into our own beautiful reality. As we awaited our film the anticipation -was real!- Upon arrival, when we saw how the tiniest of detail was used it gave us another layer of respect for undeniable talent. Those details made the largest impact and made the heart throb. It’s one of those things where you say, “ __________.” Because you are at a literal loss for words. She has always kept in touch and been available when needed. Even after she sends your video she wants to make sure your satisfied! In today’s world that is rare. Summary: When Tyger and I look back at our Elopement, we both have said over and over, “What would we have done without Sophia?” We promise, we are not giving Sophi too much praise. She helped us from the very beginning to the very dear end and her dynamic proves that each video she creates has equal importance to her. We could not imagine if we chose to have someone else film our special day. No other style we reviewed was near comparison. Thanks to Sophi we have more than a video but also a keepsake.
