Sophia's Place is a banquet hall-style wedding venue located in Lubbock, TX. Born and raised in the city, the owner of this establishment was inspired to create a space for the community to celebrate milestone moments together. Named after the owner’s third child, this family-owned venue is rooted in love and is a special space for couples to start their next chapter together. When celebrating at Sophia’s Place, you can share your big day with up to 250 loved ones. A historic building, the venue has been thoughtfully restored to capture its past charm with contemporary details. The banquet hall’s lived-in brick walls, twinkling chandeliers, and exposed ceiling offers an industrial-chic setting for any occasion. Thanks to its tall windows, ample natural lighting will brighten any ceremony or reception taking place. A wrought-iron arch, reflective of the space’s unique interior design, can be set up for ceremonies. Here, you and your partner can say “I do” as your family and friends watch from their seats. To enjoy the warm Texas breeze, you and your guests can extend your celebration to the outdoor patio area. In this open-air space, you can share hors d'oeuvres and cocktails as you create lifelong memories with loved ones. Before the day’s highlights, on-site get-ready suites are available for you and your partner to prepare separately.
