WOW! Where do I begin? I got married 10-13-23 and besides marrying my best friend the second-best choice I made was hiring Sophie Gabriella Photography. I am someone who loves photos and when it came to looking for a wedding photographer let's just say I went through about thirty of them before I found their page on Instagram. The day went so smoothly Yelena and Sophie aren't just photographers they feel like they are your friends and you've known them forever. My husband who isn't really a photo kind of guy was so comfortable in front of the camera. They are seriously the sweetest team. I hired a content creator for my wedding instead of a videographer. Yelena and Sophie were incredible with the content creator they were beyond sweet to her and even helped her with poses. If they are free for your wedding day all I can say is don't hesitate and book them as soon as possible. It was truly magical; I had all my bridesmaids and even content creator constantly ask me throughout the day "Where did you find such an incredible photography team?" I couldn't be happier with my choice, and I am certain you will be too. I promise you they will not disappoint; I will continue to recommend them to anyone getting married. Choosing a wedding photographer is not easy. You're entrusting someone to capture one of the most intimate and significant days of your life. With Sophie and Yelena, we found so much more than just photographers for our wedding. We found dear friends and we felt like family with them from day 1. Sophie and Yelena were FABULOUS for my June 2023 wedding. Yelena was like my second mom for the day, she provided a schedule and kept us on schedule, she calmed all the nerves I had about the day, she gave incredible direction to our bridal party and families during all formal pictures and helped us let loose and take a bunch of fun pics as well. Sophie is so talented with the camera and can see the exact vision she wants for each shot. She would make the most minor adjustments which made all the difference. I was so relieved that they both had such a great attention to detail so that I didn’t have to worry about phones in the pocket, hair ties on wrists, hair fly always, my dress not being laid correctly, etc etc etc! My guests commented how the photographers “were everywhere” during the reception and that they truly must’ve captured every single moment of our day. I couldn’t be happier with their service and amazing attitudes for the day.

I could not, and I mean I seriously could not, have asked for a better experience with Sophie and Yelena. So professional, so accommodating, so on top of their stuff. We’ve been to a lot of weddings and everyone we know agrees that our photographers were some of the best they’ve ever seen. Even just the small batch of photos we have now are incredible. We are happy we went with them. I wanted my wedding day to look like a dream and they made that dream come true. Every time I look back on them, they bring me so much joy. Hands down the BEST photographers you will ever work with. The aesthetic editing style is superb, along with their eye for detail and telling a love story through their lens. I came across Sophie Gabriella Photography through instagram and boy did we get lucky. There were so many photographers in social media but there was something about her profile and photos that made me want to book her. The first time we met was during our engagement shoot almost a week before our wedding day! Which was also Yelena’s birthday - so thankful she chose to celebrate her day with us. Yelena and Sophie are a mother duo team that can’t be beat! They are a dream team. They work together so quick and effortlessly. They have the warmest personality. We immediately felt close and comfortable. Fast forward to our wedding day, I was even sending them pic inspos until 1 AM of my wedding day and they truly met our expectations and more. They made our day go SO smoothly. Their instructions were clear and they have such a good eye. Yelena pays attention to every detail while Sophie shoots so beautifully. They are the nicest, warmest, and caring individuals you will ever come across. May God continue to bless them with their talent. I am so glad Sophie and Yelena were the photographers for our wedding. Not only did they take beautiful photos, but they made sure the day ran smoothly. At times they felt like a second mom, helping with little details such as helping to bustle my dress when my mom was having trouble and making sure I was ok. They are very detail orientated and paid attention to everything, making pictures run so smoothly. My fiancé and I rarely take pictures and can be rather awkward in them, but Sophie and Yelena told us exactly what to do and we didn’t feel awkward at all. In addition to the professional pictures that Sophie was taking, Yelena also took a few pictures and videos on her phone so we could have some behind the scenes pics and videos, which I was so grateful for. I was worried my venue would not have good places for pictures but they can truly make any background look beautiful. I truly cannot recommend Sophie Gabriella Photography enough!

What an amazing team to work with and I didn’t even get my wedding photos back yet but I know they’ll be amazing. This mother daughter team is great, they are very directional and work efficiently and fast. Whatever photo inspo I gave, was recreated without a problem if you ask her to go to great lengths to get a certain shot they will. Loved these two, and so grateful they were so directional with our posing so we didn’t all just stand around awkwardly. Our wedding party was also goofing around a lot and they were able to get them to pay attention and move through the photos so we wouldn’t run behind. Many thanks to them I know my wedding photos will be something I’ll cherish forever!!!

Sophie and Yelena are AMAZING! We hired them for our wedding. On our big day they made us feel at ease, they showed up on time, and got to work immediately, organizing the space and the people to get the right shots. They take such pride in their work, and it shows! My husband who hates to be photographed was smiling in every picture! Our photos are gorgeous, I cannot believe every moment captured. Don’t walk; RUN to book Sophie and Gabriella Photography! My original photographer got COVID and was unable to shoot the wedding three days before the date. This team could not have stepped into the role and come more prepared! They were organized, amazing with instructions, captured everything we asked for, and cared for us as if they have known us a lifetime. They even surprised me with a sneak peak the NEXT DAY. The pictures came out magical. I cannot speak more highly. 10/10!!!! Thank you guys!!!

I don’t even know where to start! Incredibly professional, punctual and very nice! We have never had pictures really done for anything and my husband and I felt incredibly comfortable. Perfect with wrangling up our nieces and nephew as well. They posed us the right way and came up with beautiful ideas. Just completely blown away!

Sophie, along with her mother Yelena, took photos for my wedding and were wonderful to work with. After my first conversation with them, I was so impressed with all the ideas they brought for the wedding day, I knew I had to book them asap. I just received the preview pictures and they are gorgeous and came out just as I had hoped (after selecting Sophie based on her beautiful portfolio). They posed us in a bunch of creative positions so we didn't have to think about a thing and were thoughtful in making sure everything looked just right (like my hair, bouquet, dress). I'll always appreciate the extra care and consideration they brought, for instance purchasing water for my groom and me from the hotel to make sure we were hydrated on the very hot day (something I totally forgot about in all my planning!) I highly recommend Sophie Gabriella Photography and would definitely hire the team again to capture other milestone occasions.

Our wedding was on 5/30/21. Sophie and Mrs.Yelena are an INCREDIBLE team! I really cannot say enough positive things about them!! Our wedding got a bit hectic at times but they stepped in and handled everything with such ease and grace! Although it rained on our wedding day, the team still kept us smiling and happy and even still captured photos outside which was huge for us!! They were patient with my husband and myself as well as my crazy family! They even helped with smaller details since many of the bridesmaids were unaware of what to do or how to help. Sophie and Mrs. Yelena maintained consistent and speedy communication even when things had to be moved around due to COVID. They were also very flexible and understanding whenever pricing was being discussed. For such a high quality of work, we were lucky and blessed to be given such an amazing package deal!! After our engagement photos we had to make sure to book Sophie again. She does such an amazing job, always making sure you are in the best position for pictures and is so creative with her imagination. She knows exactly what to do to make the best photo possible. Yelena was fantastic as usual, scouting the venue and environment upon arrival for the best areas to photograph. They are so kind and courteous and really have your best interests in mind at all times. Do yourselves a favor and make sure you book Sophie for your next event, we will be.

Sophie and her mom were amazing! We have been working with them sine 2019 and when our wedding got pushed back and moved 3-4 times they were nothing but accommodating and empathetic. Communication with them was always easy and prompt and you can tell they know what they're doing! The day of the wedding, both Sophie and her mom were incredible. Not only did they take great shots, but they helped with my veil and putting on my dress. In the middle of the ceremony we forgot the rings in the bridal suite and Sophie's mom was the first to spring up to go get them! The pictures came out amazing! Sophie and her mom are great at placing you and helping you pose, they found great locations and places throughout or venue for photos, and were always around when I wanted a quick snap with a guest. My husband and I, and all our guests, loved how the photos came out and can't say enough how great it was working with them!

We found Sophie via Instagram and hired her for our engagement photos, and I must say, her and Yelena are fantastic and professional as can be. We had a really great experience and Sophie knew exactly what shots and poses were best to capture. Very friendly and they made us feel totally comfortable during the session. They really care about details and had our best interest in mind. We will definitely be hiring them for our small wedding this year!

Sophie was absolutely amazing! From the moment we first chatted about our wedding day, she was very informative on all that she has to offer. Being married during a pandemic was not easy at all, but Sophie was great in making sure she captured so many beautiful moments! Prior to meeting face to face, we went over the timeline for the day and any photos that we would want outside of the "ordinary". From start to finish, and beyond, Sophie was very professional and friendly. She has an eye to capture such beautiful moments!

Sophie and Sophia Gabriella Photography did an excellent job at our wedding in many aspects in addition to taking very professional and beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. We had some rain on our wedding day and had to push everything back an hour and a half. This may not seem like a lot of time but for a photographer at an outdoor wedding with a setting sun, it is. After the ceremony we had a very very small window to photograph in and Sophie was able to hold her cool and not compromise her quality with speed. She was precise, she knew exactly how she wanted us positioned in the landscape, how she wanted us to pose, and was extremely detail oriented down to the smallest little thing we needed to move or change to make the perfect picture. It was high stakes but she nailed it. We did not experience any worries with Sophie, she got to our venue before she was supposed to and she was ready to go from the start. We had a brief conversation in the beginning to talk about our image goals aside from the formal pictures and she got to it. Sophie was kind, patient, understanding, extremely professional, and she has a very elegant eye for photography. I am a product designer for a living who takes their own product photos. My expectations are high. Being a photographer is not just clicking a button. It takes skill, a special and trained eye, an understanding of context, composition, design, and flow. Sophie undoubtedly has my recommendation based on the tasteful and elegant photos she took in both formal and informal settings. It is a little early for me to start thinking about getting married again but I would highly recommend Sophie Gabriella Photography for your special day!
