AWESOME DJ!!!! Best in Brevard!!! Freddie and Jim did an amazing job for our wedding!! They were there early to set up, lined up all of our bridal party, on point with the music, an overall an amazing, fun, upbeat, enthusiastic and crowd engaging DJ!! We would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again for any events we have! Thank you for such an amazing time!!

The lighting, music, and extras we choose made our reception fabulous! Freddy was great keeping us in schedule and ensuring the crowd was having fun at all times!

Frederick was awesome! He made our wedding fun and memorable. He did what we asked for and then some! All the guests had so much fun!

I had the wonderful pleasure of having Fredrick as our DJ for our wedding in May 2018. Working with Sophisticated Gents made the song/event planning super easy with their online portal. The entire team was extremely friendly and so easy to work with. They were happy to help with anything we asked and went above and beyond by guiding my husband and myself through everything and made the planning of our special day so much smoother and less stressful. The lighting set up of our event was beautiful and they really focused on your vision and made it come to life, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else for such a special event. There is nothing bad that I could say about Frederick and his team. I am very pleased with his work and I know our guests enjoyed him just as much as we did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lack of communication from Frederick is horrendous. He literally ruined my grand entrance and first dance. Moments I will never get back. I had booked them early for my wedding and I got maybe a handful of emails from them. It was never discussed how my bridal party would be introduced. He couldn’t even get the names correct for my family. He told me no 5 times to announcing tables to go to the buffet because it wasn’t “sophisticated” I emailed him again and said i would really prefer for your dj to announce it. The day of Harry our dj had no clue that he had to do that. 2 weeks before my wedding after already paying $1200 for dj service he tells me i have to pay either $100 early set up fee or $150 for the dj to set up early and stay until the end otherwise they’d leave at 9. My husband and I had taken dance classes every week for 4 months to choreograph a beautiful song. We had to have another dj edit the song since Frederick doesn’t do that. I emailed the song to him in an mp3 file and was never told if it worked or not so i assumed it did. All Frederick did was give him the full song to play, we edited the song to go with the choreography. Frederick has been nothing but unprofessional and I am beside myself. Now here we are 4 days later and 2 emails later and not a single response or even an apology. Please beware.

Everyone had fun at the wedding and and really enjoyed Freddy. Working with this company was easy; they were professional and clear in their contract. He was honest about what would and wouldn't work at the venue site (I was outdoors) which I appreciated.

Great DJ company to work with. Fredrick and Jenna answered all the questions I had before the day of and were very friendly. Their interactive website made it easy to customize all the music for my special day!

Working with sophisticated gents for the DJ and entertainment was a seamless and easy process. Each meeting we had was very organized and I felt " in the loop" through the entire process. Their online portal/worksheet made the picking of songs very easy. When it came to the actual event my expectations were far exceeded. The up lighting was the ice on the cake and made the venue beautiful. And Fred as the DJ was AMAZING!! He was able to really get our crowd going and turned the event into an amazing party. I was so sad when the music stopped at the end of the night. Wish we could have partied forever! In my mind there is no other choice for your wedding event!!

Frederick was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! We had such a blast with him, all of our guests came up to us either during or after the wedding and everyone mentioned how awesome he was. He really helped get the party started and kept it going all night long. We would definitely use him again in the future for another big event and we HIGHLY recommend him.

Working with Sophisticated Gents was absolutely amazing. They did a fantastic job making the crowd feel like a meaningful part of the wedding reception. They really made the energy for dancing something special. Also the lighting that was set up in the reception hall was beautiful, he did a great job transforming the room by adding a pop of color which made the room quite unique. I would definitely recommend Sophisticated Gents for any of your entertainment needs because that is what they truly are, great entertainers. Also, the first thing any one of my guests make mention of when we talk about the wedding was the DJ services and for that I am truly thankful. They made our wedding experience something very special!!

Trent from Sophisticated Gents was our DJ and did such a good job! He kept the party going all night and was able to read our crowd and play songs accordingly. He also did a great job of keeping the reception moving and on schedule - he even picked up the slack of our wedding planner and made sure we had everything we need.

Frederick is an AMAZING entertainer. We had so much fun the dance floor was full the entire time, Frederick through in fun games that were unexpected. I would Hire him and Sophisticated Gents again in a heart beat

DJ Fredrick worked with me on everything I needed. My family is very conservative but I still wanted a fun reception and he delivered, for the best price around. He was exactly what i was hoping for!

We used Frederick for our wedding June 7th 2013 and could not be happier with his professionalism and attention to detail! We originally had a friend that was going to DJ, never use friends, and something went wrong two months before. We were in a panic and did not think we could get a DJ as most of the recommended were booked already. We didn't think we would be able to get the best and we called anyway and by the grace of God, the best, Frederick, was available and ready to help us. We are so thankful he could make our wedding fun, special, and entertaining for our guests. I am hearing now about 2 weeks later how awesome our DJ was and we are recommending Frederick to everyone. I first saw Sophisticated Gents at a bridal show in Melbourne and absolutely knew that I needed to have them be my DJ at the wedding. I got DJ Trent, and he definitely knew what he was doing. He met with the groom and I before everything he did and told us how it was going to happen and what we needed to do. It was nice to have that direction and guidance since our heads were all in a spin from everything else going on. He told us exactly how to cut the cake, how the dances were going to go, and everything else we needed to know. He had fun with us on the dance floor teaching us certain dances, and was quick to answer emails with questions I had. They are a bit pricey, but they are worth the money. I would recommend them to any brides for the DJ portion. However, my husband and I decided to do the lighting ourselves because their lighting package was extremely expensive, and I think our lights turned out just as good as they would've done them, but for a fraction of the cost.

If you want an out-of-the-box experience for your guests, Frederick is your man. From lighting our ice sculpture to finding 4 dealers to staff our poker and blackjack tables, I'm not sure anyone else could have pulled it off.

Everyone said that this was the best DJ ever. They have never danced so much in their life at a wedding before. They had music for all age groups. If want a specific song they had it. Greatest part is they even had safety pins for when i had an emergency. Even my grandmother got up and danced and she hasn't danced in about 30 plus years.

Fredrick did a great job outlining then leading the reception. He did a great job with our all custom playlist and dealt with last minute changes very well.

This was another vender that I had met at a bridal show. Fredrick was absolutly awesome. Played every song that we wanted. Had everything planned beautifully. And was able to make a fun mix for a very diverse group of people coming together. He had fun little extras that made for great memories and pictures that my husband and I will never forget. He was $1600 for the ceremony and reception totaling 5 hours.

Sophisticated Gents, gave us a wonderful experience at our wedding. Our family & friends loved the music, and still chat about it. Frederick is fantastic at what he does, getting everyone involved. Amazing experience, and very professional. Highly recommend.

If you’re on active duty serving in the U.S. military – just a warning that you definitely do not want to enter into a contract with Sophisticated Gents Entertainment and here’s why. Three weeks before the wedding date my future husbands leave was cancelled and he was immediately deployed to Afghanistan. We immediately notified all of the vendors of the situation and asked that they take the monies already paid and apply it to a future date upon his return from deployment. We realized that they all had cancellation clauses, but we were not asking for refunds and just hoped for the best as this was not a situation where we just decided not to get married. All of the vendors said that they were very sorry to hear about this, and would happily apply all monies paid to a new date in order to show their appreciation for his service to our country – except for Sophisticated Gents Entertainment. When I told Fredrick (the owner) that we weren’t asking for a refund, just that application of the monies already paid to a new date he said sorry there’s no refunds for cancellations of any kind. If we wanted to use them we would be required to pay again. Needless to say we will using the services of a new vendor who has a little more compassion for what active duty military personnel and their families are going through.

He made our night amazing!! Everything flowed so well and we literally danced the night away!! We will never forget how much fun we had!!

Our initial contact with Sophisticated Gents was with the owner, Fredrick. Fredrick is a very nice man and made an excellent impression at our initial consultation. He was unfortunately already booked for our wedding so we were assigned another DJ. Fredrick kept in contact with us by phone while we were planning. There online customer center is really cool and easy to use and allows you to keep everything up to date in regards to your wedding so the DJ knows everything about your wedding. At the last meeting, I wasn't able to attend, so my husband had too, and it still went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, we met our DJ for the first time and we were impressed. He was young and energetic. I liked how he took the time to talk with my husband because all of our other vendors were more focused on me (and they all happened to be female so it was nice to have one male in the room!). He was energetic and made good choices while also staying with our list. He stayed in contact with us throughout the event to make sure we were happy and check on anything we might need or want. I think his MC'ing was excellent. His wife ran the equipment I think and she was excellent...the transitions were smooth and we never noticed one flaw in the music at all. People were dancing from the first song he played to open the dance floor to the last song he played. My husband and I were very pleased with the entire reception and the DJ plays a big role in creating a successful reception!

I am truly gratful to have this company at our wedding!!!! They went above and beyond to make people dance!!!! Very entertaining!!!

Frederick was awesome! We my mother in law and I had taken my now niece (4 at the time) to his bridal show in Orlando. We had so much fun! We decided to book them for our entertainment and I am so glad we did! He did a very good job and took charge for direction when it needed to be done. We LOVE and would recomend the gents to anyone!

We had seen Frederick at a wedding & were so impressed we called them for our wedding. It was a bit risky since our music was mostly latin. Everyone raved about how entertaining they kept the wedding as well as the lighting they set up. The only sad part was most of the music played wasn't what we selected. The reason we were told was they couldn't find most of the music even though we selected it from their list online. We had met a week before & they never mentioned the problem & we were specific about playing only what we chose. But they are the best entertainers.

Our DJ was amazing! He really organized the flow and kept things moving. He was very friendly and outgoing. Definitely would recommend them because they add the something special to your wedding!

A D.J. from this company did my sisters wedding and was very nice. He helped out above and beyond by getting the bridesmaids water and other nice things like that. Even though he is retiring, we were glad to be one of his last weddings.

Freddy was the best DJ ever. He truly kept the party going.

If you love to dance and laugh and have a great time, Sphisticated Gents are for you. They kept everyone entertained, no one left before the end of the wedding, and people I never thought would dance, did! Our DJ was awesome and had everyone laughing. Also, they had a great online database which made everything sooo easy. They also offered an array of service so you could have pretty much whatever you wanted! Awesome!

My dj for my wedding was DJ Kevin. The moment I got to my reception site he was asking me if I needed anything or could get me anything. He continued that for the rest of the night :) He played the perfect music for each area of the reception. He made sure that we stayed on time and fit everything in. He worked well with the caterers and the photographer. I was super impressed and happy. They were a little bit more expensive than some of the other companies that I talked to, but it was worth it!

Fred did an amazing job at doing exactly what we asked for turning our wedding into a party.;Expensive.
