Sorry for Partying rocks!! They DJ’d our ceremony and then played during our wedding reception and from the moment the first chord struck until the last song was played, the band was nothing short of spectacular! Our guests are still reaching out to me to say “that band was SO good!” Their ability to read the room and play just the right song at just the right time was uncanny. Each member brought a level of talent that turned our wedding into the best celebration that still resonates with us. The band played a diverse mix of 70’s, 80’, 90’s, 2000’s, country and pop. The dance floor was packed the entire night. They didn’t just perform; they brought an energy that was infectious, making our wedding not just a day to remember, but a night to never forget. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, from the planning stages to the final song. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect soundtrack to the beginning of our lives together. Thank you for the music and the memories. If you’re considering this band for your event, don’t hesitate. They are truly the best!

We can't say enough about how amazing Sorry for Partying was at our wedding! From start to finish, the band was extremely professional and added fun details for us to do on our wedding day. We had a lot of our guests complimenting the band and kept asking how we found them. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. The band was able to get set up quickly in our tight turnaround time the venue gave us. When we didn't have all the answers they worked directly with the venue and our wedding planner to ensure the day went accordingly. We had so much fun the whole evening and appreciated the advice given by the band to make everything successful. They took the time to learn three specialized dance songs and had the best MC helping keep our evening transitions seamless. They band played It Was Always you by Maroon Five and absolutely nailed it for our first dance. If we ever throw a big party Sorry for Partying will be our first call. We highly recommend and promise you won't regret the pick!

Three hours of non stop partying! Hiring them was the best decision we made. They were wonderful coordinating cocktail hour music and speeches too. I even got to sing my karaoke song! Stop looking for a band now and just hire them.

We LOVED SFP! & So did our guests! Both my husband and I worked with John leading up to the wedding and he was incredibly helpful and responsive. He answered all our questions and even set up over an hour-long phone call with us to walk through the day and give us confidence that it would all run smoothly (& IT DID!). We had over 200 people at our wedding and the amount of compliments we received about the band were unbelievable. My friends were begging my parents to pay for an extra hour of dancing. No one wanted to leave. I truly had the time of my life on the dance floor and they kept the party going all night long!

People just seemed to love the dance floor. My wife and I felt like we were the stars of the show. Not only was the performance great, but the process was efficient. You made this easy for us. Being prompt in response to any of our questions or thoughts. But also, being proactive when needed. Thank you for being a part of the best night of our lives!!!

We are so glad that we decided on Sorry for Partying for our wedding! Throughout the process, John was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had a few phone calls with him ahead of our wedding and a member of the band joined us for a venue walkthrough, which made us feel really comfortable. We first saw SFP at a friends wedding and we were on the dance floor the entire night. We knew once it was our time to plan a wedding, we wanted SFP there. As soon as we got engaged they were the first vendor we booked. They are so much fun, easy to work with and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and Sorry for Partying made the reception SO.MUCH.FUN! We had so many of our guests tell us that this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and the band was incredibly AWESOME! They were amazingly talented, played music for everyone, and kept the dance floor completely full until the end! On top of that, working with John ahead of time, couldn't have been easier and we felt their cost was extremely reasonable! We couldn't be happier that we hired them for our wedding!!

Sorry for partying was AMAZING! Leading up to the wedding John was so easy and nice to communicate with leading up to the wedding. They were so good at accommodating and making all our requests happen. Then wedding day came and they killed it!! The entire band sounded amazing and kept the dance floor packed and people dancing until the last song. They made us feel special as the bride and groom (we got to sing dont stop believing!!) The dance floor was packed all night!! They never took a break!! These guys were an AMAZING band, and the tempo was high energy ALL night long. Sorry for Partying was the BEST decision for our wedding, hands down! We worked with John and Joe to coordinate our big day - and had a covid delayed wedding - but they could not have been more easy going, fun and pleasant to work with. And most importantly, they were incredible on our wedding day!!! From ceremony strings, to reception our guests (and US!) had the time of our lives. We cannot wait to have our next party and have SFP be our band again. Thank you guys!!

We hired Sorry for Partying for our wedding this November. Kept the dance floor full all night. John was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone after our wedding kept complimenting them. So glad we booked them!! Awesome band and great even with a new venue.

All I can say is WOW - SFP was amazing!!!  These were our personal highlights: -PERFORMANCE: First and foremost they are incredibly talented and energetic.  You can tell they love to perform and are proud to be part of the special celebration which brings such an authentic positive vibe to the day. -FLEXIBILITY: They had an extensive and diverse set list where they took our opinions/preferences into consideration.  And they learned several new songs that were important to us which were not on their original set list.  And they learned them WELL!  I personally walked up and high-fived them after “Let Me Hold You in My Arms” by Ray Lamatagone because it literally sounded better than the original  -EASE: They coordinated all setup directly with our day-of coordinator at the venue which made it super easy for us.  And were very reachable via email, phone, and text when necessary leading up to the day.  They are also the MC for everything from speeches to first dances and other announcements like shuttle bus timing which made it a consistent professional vibe throughout -QUALITY: Really high quality equipment: we had several guests compliment the cocktail hour where we had our own playlist of downloaded songs booming through the vineyard. The sound all night was just phenomenal: everything from the main ceremony and reader mic stands, ceremony music, wireless mic for speeches, the actual live music performance, even professional party type lighting to set the vibe along with the songs. -PERSONALITY:  We were able to attend a few live performances @ Bub City in Chicago where we first saw the band perform, and in doing a few emails and phone calls leading up to the day, built a good friendly relationship. No joke our caterers were taking forever to break down the buffet table post-dinner from the middle of the dance floor and the SFP crew literally helped me (the groom) carry the tables over to the side - just awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

If you're considering hiring SFP, just stop what you are doing and book them right now. Seriously, you won't regret it. They played at our wedding this past weekend and words cannot express how amazing everything was. They literally MADE our night. They were a huge hit - the dance floor was packed the entire night and we are still getting compliments from our guests about how amazing the music was. The song list was perfect and they even let me get up there and do a little singing with them (I'm an awful singer, but they were good sports!) Such good energy and truly unforgettable. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire SFP for our daughter’s wedding. Not only did they keep the dance floor energized and packed all evening ( they played continuously - no breaks!) but they provided all the other “necessities” as well, i.e. sound systems for background music during cocktail hour and dinner, mc-ing the introductions, microphones for officiant and speeches,etc. Great playlist to choose from. Highly recommend!

We hired SFP for our wedding in July and they were a huge hit! Everyone was up dancing the entire time they were playing and every song was just better than the last. In addition to live music they also MC'd the evening, and played recorded cocktail and dinner music. I loved how they were able to transform the lighting with their own equipment when the live music started as well - extremely professional and highly recommended!

I’ve never written a review in my life, so this band is pretty special. We were planning our wedding long distance and booked SFP just from hearing them online. They were so easy to communicate with and on top of everything. They kept the dance floor packed the entire night and had such a great energy. Everyone raved about them afterward. Don’t hesitate, just book this band!!

Hiring SFP for our wedding band was one of the best decisions that we could have made! I'm so happy and grateful that one of my colleagues introduced me to this amazing band! Right from the start with booking the band, John was great to communicate with and very accommodating. And on our actual day the band lived up to expectations and kept our dance floor packed for the entire 4 hours! (with only one very short break). We were so happy to see all our family and friends of all ages dancing the night away and having such a great time! And our family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding! Aside from the wide variety of music they played, Tim did a fabulous job of emceeing our entire reception. We couldn't be happier with how the entire night went and would recommend this band over and over again!

I attended a wedding last year and was blown away by the band. There simply is nothing better than live music. Sorry for Partying was exceptional. A very classy group who played music all ages could enjoy. I dont believe the dance floor was ever empty. There were times there was no room on the dance floor so dancing between the tables took place. It seems that they were able to satisfy every music request made. I cant say enough about their energetic, outstanding performance. And three hours of constant no break music. The very best wedding band I have seen which made for one of the best receptions. Ever. They truly made the night a special one and fun one. They rock!

Sorry for Partying played our wedding on December 8th in Wisconsin, and we cannot say enough good things about them. We received so many comments from guests about how great of a band they were and how much fun everyone had. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was absolutely packed. John is super responsive and does a great job of finding out what sort of music you are into and what you might want them to play, and they even learned 3 songs for us. You will definitely not be disappointed!

What an amazing band to have at your wedding! They went above and beyond for us. It's so cool that they will learn three songs for you to have included in the band set. It was every more exceptional that they let us have my husbands cousin come in and sing a Spanish song that they all learned. I would recommend them over and over again. Kyle is so talented to be able to do keyboard, vocals and DJ set. Joe kills it on the guitar and was able to be there for our walk through having such great input. Tim is incredible at being the MC and singer for the evening. John crushed it on the drums, he made Everlong by the Foo Fighters a memorable experience!!!!! As a bride, I was on the dance floor the entire night because they played all the favorites I could ask for. Thank You SFP!!!!!

Sorry for Partying recently played our wedding and we couldn't be happier. They helped us create a setlist that fit our wedding perfectly and kept the party going. My wife and I loved the energy created by the band, and more importantly, our guest had a blast.

UNBELIEVABLE! These guys brought it for our wedding. While we know them from charity events that we have seen them at in the past, they truly were such a great part of our wedding night. From start to finish, they brought an energy that had everyone on the dance floor for every minute of the night. Their range of music appealed to all ages of attendees. We had people come up to us weeks after the wedding and talk about how amazing the band was. Tim and the guys (and newly added female vocalist, who also was amazing) were wonderful to work with. Tim did a great job MCing through the entrance and speeches. To top everything, Kyle (band member) DJ'd the final hour of our wedding. It was a great addition to a night of live music. Seriously, book these guys if you want fun, dance filled night where the band will be one of your best lasting memories of the evening.

They were open to playing the songs we liked most, and they were flexible when our venue required them to set up faster than normal. So many of our guests told us the band made their night - SFP had so much energy and fun on stage! Words cannot express how impressed we were with Sorry For Partying! From the start of our wedding planning, our top priority was having a jam-packed, energized, and fun dance floor...and having SFP as our band made all our dance floor dreams come true! Not only did they play for 3 straight hours (with no breaks!), but they played all the right songs to keep our friends and family (of all ages) dancing all night long!! They were professional, energetic, and accommodating. We felt so comfortable the day of the wedding since the band was excellent at communication beforehand. The process was organized and super stress free for us. We would HIGHLY recommend SFP, and we can only hope to attend more weddings and events where they play!

We recently had our wedding reception and had Sorry for Partying as our entertainment. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the band. They were great to work with and they made the planning process so easy. Their playlist was very robust with great options spanning multiple decades and genres. After selecting the songs, my wife and I wanted to hear, we gave creative control to SFP for the evening. The progression of playlist was well planned and executed even better. SFP has a male and female vocalist that really made songs fun to listen to. They kept the dance floor full all-night long and made our wedding such a memorable night!

If you are looking for an awesome band, please do yourself a favor and book SFP immediately! These guys are THE BEST! They played our wedding in November of 2017 and they were unbelievable. Super fun, energetic and they have a huge variety of songs for all generations that they can play. The dance floor was always packed thanks to SFP. Also, leading up to the wedding day, they were great with communicating, answering questions and giving advice and recommendations as far as what songs are crowd-pleasing and work best at weddings. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Thanks SFP!

I don't even know where to begin with Sorry for Partying. We got married June 24, 2017 and SFP was the deal sealer on the best day of our lives. Tim and the entire band (including their new female vocalist) were spectacular. I'm getting messages from friends and family over a week later talking about how our wedding was the best they've ever been to, and a significant part was due to SFP. The dance floor was packed the entire night and they played everything. They were so flexible and fun. I wish I could have them play every party we host!

Sorry for Partying made our reception exactly what we had imagined and hoped for. They had the dance floor FULL the entire night and that is not an exaggeration. The set list was just what we were looking for with a band. We had such an amazing time! Tim was really helpful and organized. We had them play our cocktail hour and then had the full band set up for the reception. He announced our wedding party for us. They really engaged the crowd and even invited my husband on stage to help sing his favorite song at the end of the night. We've still been getting compliments about Sorry for Partying as our wedding band! We would highly recommend them for your wedding reception and for any event where you want everyone to have a great time dancing the night away.

SFP are professional, accommodating and talented musicians. I was constantly throwing changes their way and being a huge pain. They didn't complain once and accepted the changes with smiles on their faces. Never once did they tell me "No". They have can-do attitudes and are truly crowd pleasers. One of our guests went up and made a request, they fulfilled with no questions asked. I am still receiving compliments on how great the band was. They set an amazing tone for the night and really delivered. I highly recommend.

We LOVED having Sorry for Partying at our wedding! Our guests loved their style and song choices and they played on and on! They even coordinated an amazing song for my dad to sing. I've been following SFP for years, and they keep on getting better-and-better! When my fiancé and I agreed we wanted wedding band, we contacted SFP and they were more than willing to travel to Cincinnati, OH to play our wedding reception. They are professional, accommodating and easy to work with. Most importantly, they put on a killler show, and our guests could not get enough of their music. My wife and I just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to the band for playing at our wedding on 9/06/14. We had been looking into hiring a DJ or going with a live band, while also staying within our budget. This band was reasonably priced and surpassed many other live bands out there by learning two of our favorite songs, while also playing for 3 hours uninterrupted! Our family and friends were blown away by their performance and the variety of songs that were mixed in during the entire set. We were blessed to have them be a part of our special day and couldn't be happier about the way they went above and beyond our expectations of having a live band instead of a DJ. Sorry for partying is a perfect name for this band as they definitely had the hall rocking and everyone sorry for partying by the time they left!

SFP was in a word, incredible. My husband and I originally hired a different band that was good, but after having some issues with the band manager getting shady on us, I revisited hiring SFP and luckily they were still available on our wedding date. It was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding (right behind actually getting married I think). They were SO easy to work with, very accommodating and they learned a very difficult song for me since it's one of my favorites. I think the only people sitting down at our reception were a girl with a broken foot and her boyfriend. Even my 84 year old grandpa was out there for about an hour. They brought the house down and helped us throw the greatest party. I would not recommend any other band if you're looking for a great vibe, awesome energy and you want everyone to be talking about how fun your wedding was for years to come. I've seen a lot of bands at other weddings and SFP is the best out there. I think because they were not originally a wedding band, they have absolutely no cheese factor which was a #1 priority for me. Do yourself a favor, and hire them. I promise you won't regret it!!!

WOW! These guys were awesome. I got so many compliments on them. They kept the party going all night - I've never seen a dance floor at a wedding so packed. They helped make the whole day run smoothly and I never had to worry about anything the whole night. EXCELLENT!!
