S.O.S. Cotton Candy

There were pros and cons of using SOS, so I’ll list both and you can decide! Cons: we had them for an hour, and while they were spinning cotton candy most of the time, there was no way to have any leftovers for people to grab as they pleased once they’d left. They said it was too humid and was making the cotton candy melt (we were inside, but I understood) but it was a little disappointing cause we’d made a display wall to hold pre-made cones, and it didn’t get used. So, no photos like I’d hoped. Be aware, you will ONLY have as much cotton candy as they can spin in the time allotted. (No leftovers) Pretty expensive, especially if you’re out of town. I recognize it’s the wedding business, I just had to swallow my pride and ignore how much spun sugar was costing us. Lol. Pros: THEY BROUGHT THE PARTY! When the cart set up and the neon pink lights turned on, it felt like the night really took a turn! Cotton candy is easy to dance with! SOS was super helpful getting us set up with flavors and colors that matched the aesthetic I was hoping for. I tried all three flavors at the wedding (bride perks!) and even the weird sounding ones were AMAZING! (Peppermint, who knew?!) Overall, despite pros and cons, I would choose them again! Our guests all loved having a creative dessert, and we got tons of credit for being “unique and different!” Kids kept returning to the line again and again! Because sugar is naturally gluten free, I didn’t have to think about alternate desserts for guests! My gluten sensitive pals really appreciated it. And at the end of the night when the cart was being pushed out of the room, the whole wedding cheered the guy out! If that doesn’t say something to how satisfied people were, I don’t know what would!
