ding planner and figured out all the details really seamlessly! Beyond just ease of working with the team, the food was really, truly excellent. I know I am biased, but I honestly think it was the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. The pulled pork cigars were both delicious and truly a fun and innovative way to serve an appetizer. I also highly recommend the tostones with mango chutney and the braised pork shoulder is literally the best main course I could have imagined. The guests all agreed - everything was superb and the pork shoulder was the star of the show.
Beyond that, the staff was so kind and thoughtful. The event producer came up to my husband and me several times to make sure we were doing well and made sure we took some of the leftover desserts home at the end of the night. I would hire Soul and Smoke again in a heartbeat!

Second, and most importantly, the BBQ is AMAZING! Our guests absolutely loved the ribs, chicken, brisket, and mac n cheese. For the welcome drinks portion, we served desserts catered by Soul & Smoke, which were also a hit (recommend the cobbler jars and Firecake donuts). The bartenders and servers were very professional and did an excellent job. As an added bonus, I am from Evanston, so it was great to work with an Evanston-based company. I definitely would recommend Soul & Smoke for your wedding events - I can promise your guests will rave about the food!
