Welcome to the Knot. My name is Ben, and this is Soul Capture Photography! I have had a passion for taking pictures since my father gifted me my first real camera when I was twelve years old. My father has since left this Earth, though he lives on in me, and I bring this passion to each and every session and wedding that I shoot.
I firmly believe that photography is not complicated or hard; it's quite easy, and anyone can do it! It's the art of creating an emotional feeling when looking at an image that is what separates us! I don't show up and just shoot my clients; I get to know you for who you are and what your relationship means to you. I want to capture your feelings, your emotions, and most importantly, your SOUL. I want my clients to look back on their wedding photos in 10 years and immediately be transported back to that romantic first kiss feeling and the euphoria of dancing the night away with your loved ones.
In order to Marry you must vow to one another, so I vow to you as your photographer to always take into account your comfort, safety, pleasure and overall satisfaction during the entirety of the Wedding process. This day is for YOU, lets get you MARRIED!

Ben from Soul Capture Photography is outstanding ! From the moment you book a sesh with him, till the moment you receive your captured moments via email. We love that he asks what we look for, what we want, while also giving us suggestions. What we loved the best about him is that he’s candid and kind when interacting with infants and toddlers. His patience and approach with them means everything to us as parents ! He made them genuinely laugh, and was sweet and amazing with our babies. His photographs do truly capture our souls, and we loved them all ! His booking process was nice and easy, and he owns up to his word when promising a timeframe to get your pictures back, we love that transparency and accountability! We will deff be booking with him again !
Ben was an absolute dream to work with! We trusted his vision completely and let him take the lead, and he did not disappoint. He was professional, polite, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire day. Lots of the guests even had great things to say about him, and the photos turned out incredible so far. Ben was truly incredible from start to finish! We first worked with him for our engagement shoot, and he went above and beyond to find a location that perfectly matched the vision we had in mind. He was flexible, accommodating, and made my husband and me feel completely at ease. We especially appreciated that he didn’t force any awkward poses—he let us be ourselves and gently guided us when needed.
On our wedding day, Ben was even more amazing. Like most brides, I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed, but Ben’s calm, warm presence helped me feel grounded and at peace. Our entire bridal party loved him! He was organized, came with a clear vision, and made the most of our time—especially during cocktail hour when he guided us through photos efficiently without making it feel rushed.
And the photos? They were an absolute dream. Ben captured every emotion and moment so beautifully—it was beyond anything we ever imagined. We’re endlessly grateful and can’t recommend him enough. Truly the best. If you’re considering working with him, do it. You won’t regret it!
