Soul Wagon carries on the soulful and swingin' sounds of the enormous collection of roots music called Jazz & Blues. Leading the band on piano and vocals, Benito stays true to these enduring styles, showing respect to the great composers all the while adding original and fresh arrangements to these great American songs. While specializing in classic 50's and 60's era jazz, the band also digs deep into simpler blues forms driven by groove, soul, and raw energy.

With 13 years experience playing weddings, the 4-piece features some of Austin's top jazz talent and will entertain and delight your guests. The band can provide everything from small intimate combos for the ceremony, to high energy large band music for the reception. Saxophone can be added upon request.
We're a great choice for private events and weddings– offering the jazz classics and classy background music for cocktails, and also hard swingin' soul jazz or rockin' blues for those who are really looking to party.
