Souled Out/The David Mouton Experience is the best event band you could hire! I could not recommend Souled Out/ The David Mouton Experience MORE for your wedding or party. They were professional, incredibly talented, and more than I could have wished for our wedding. The music was soulful and funky, every band member was so incredible, they really bring an amazing New Orleans flare to their performance. They were all so nice and approachable. They brought and setup all of their equipment and literally played the house down. I wish it would have lasted forever. Hire them for everything before they get famous!

All of my wedding guests had the BEST time with Souled Out! Dave was very professional and responsive and made sure he had all of the information he needed from me before the big day. He played all the right music and read the crowd perfectly!! All ages were having a blast on the dance floor and were raving about the reception days after! I am so glad we chose Souled Out to play at our reception for our special day!!

My wife and I saw a Souled Out performance years ago when we first began dating. I remember being so impressed with their performance that I knew I would have them play at our wedding! We danced all night and had so much fun at just a local bar concert. Fast forward many years later and many other opportunities to listen to different bands. Some at the same venue, some at other venues, and others at different weddings. None made the lasting impression Souled Out did for me. I’ve always loved horn bands and man do they get the job done. Seven years later I proposed to my wife, shortly after we picked the venue, but I wouldn’t commit to a date until I made sure Souled Out was available. I reached out to Souled Out via social media and was contacted shortly after by David Mouton. He asked me some questions regarding what we were looking for and I told him the story. He wanted to give us the same experience we had on that night we first heard them. We booked them immediately. Then we had to wait a year for the actual date! Before the wedding, we were surprised when they announced they would be performing at the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival. This was a little closer to our house than their hometown, so we were able to travel to see them from the first song to the last! Once again, a stellar performance! On the wedding day the band arrived well ahead of time, all of them were dressed to impress! My wife had some special songs she wanted for the wedding ceremony and David was able to accommodate us. As for the reception, my wife and I danced all night long and my guest had a blast! I can’t recommend them enough! Book them! Souled Out’s saying is “We are the party” and I couldn’t agree more!

There are just truly not enough words to describe how amazing Souled Out is and how grateful we are to have had them as a part of our day! They brought the party and kept the dance floor rocking from beginning to end. They also played at each of my cousins weddings in 2018 and 2020, and they are consistently PHENOMENAL! One of the best vendors you can hire to provide entertainment and a party vibe to your event. Our wedding guests loved them and they coordinated a private last dance where they performed“Can’t Help Falling in Love” and moved my groom and me to absolute tears. Run, don’t walk, and book Souled Out for your wedding! I first saw them at a wedding four or five years ago, and that was when I knew I wanted them for my own wedding when the time came. Our wedding was nearly two weeks ago, and we are still hearing from guests that are telling us how awesome the band was. They kept the party going all evening and kept the energy up, which was very important to us. They were extremely flexible to work with through two venue changes, one due to COVID and one due to weather (the week of the wedding). We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to go with Souled Out!

When Ryan finally proposed (after 8 years) I knew Souled Out would be providing the entertainment for the night. Who else could possibly do the job, when Ryan was the one up their entertaining people with them for 14 years. After attending countless Souled Out shows, I knew exactly what songs I wanted and they delivered. Ryan was even convinced to take over the mic for the epic rap battles that commenced. Souled Out is always a good time, from their song choices to their dance moves to their crowd interaction. Souled Out made our reception the party it was meant to be.

Souled out was so much fun to have at our wedding. They kept everyone out on the dance floor all night long and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves. Everyone keeps raving about them a week later. If you’re considering them, book it! They without a doubt made my wedding the best night of my life.

When I got engaged I HAD to have Souled Out play at my wedding. We chose my wedding date around Souled Out’s schedule. Then, when the pandemic forced me to change my wedding date AGAIN we chose an alternative date that allowed us to have Souled Out. They surely did NOT disappoint! These guys got the party started early and kept it going all night long! They interact so well with the crowd and match the energy. They could have played for 6 more hours and the dance floor would have remained packed. Our guests kept asking who my band was and telling us how much fun they were! Everyone had a BLAST and these guys exceeded my expectations! Dave was easy to work with, accommodating, and professional. If you are trying to decide on a wedding band BOOK THEM and FAST. Souled Out was absolutely AMAZING! The dance floor was packed from the beginning to the very end! All of our friends and family danced All. Night. Long. thanks to Souled Out. We had friends and family members talking about our reception even weeks after our wedding! The manager is very easy to get in touch with and so personal on the phone, which helped ease a lot of wedding planning stressors. During the reception, he found me on the dance floor to check in and I respected that so much. He really cares about what is important to the couple. We told him from the beginning that we love a good party and love when bands interact with the crowds, and they did just that! This band is truly all around amazing! What really topped off the night was when my father came up to dance with me and he raved about how our reception/the band was the most fun he has ever had. You should just go ahead and book Souled Out before you even get engaged because you don't need question who you want bring the party for you and your guests on your big day.

Souled Out is simply the best! Right from the start, they set the tone for what turned out to be the most fun and amazing night of our lives. Their playlist was great and the band was even better. The minute I walked into the reception and heard Souled Out playing I knew that this was going to be a fun party! Souled Out was at all times professional and entertaining. Souled Out was the best band I have ever seen play at a wedding, and I have been to a lot of weddings. From the song selection, to the environment they create, to their big-time affordability, they truly bring the PERFECT party. People pay twice as much for bands that should not even be in the same conversation as Souled Out. My wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased. All of our guests said the exact same thing. I’ve already had 2 friends book them for their upcoming weddings. I seriously wish we could do it all over again. What a night. Thank you to Dave and the entire Souled Out krewe! Y’all gave us the best night ever. It was FLAWLESS.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. After doing some research and watching videos of local bands, I was set on Souled Out. The range of songs played kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We had so much fun with them and I received tons of compliments throughout the night. They even went above and beyond to make sure to play my favorite song and make it special for us.

We booked this band a year and a half in advance for good reason. We wanted our out of town guests (which was the majority) to get the "true NOLA" celebration for our destination wedding and wanted our special day to be memorable. Souled Out definitely played a BIG part in that as our guests could not stop raving how spectacular our band was. We also hired a second line that did not show up and members of the Souled Out band saved the day by filling in at the LAST SECOND! Dave, the manager was very easy and kind to work with. Not only is the band EXTREMELY talented, but they are EXTREMELY professional. They not only perform music, they interact with the guests as they play. They are easy to get in contact with and also can accommodate your music requests. Look no further. They are WELL WORTH the bang for your buck.

Souled Out was amazing! I highly recommend them for any wedding. They learned the first dance song, the father/daughter dance song, and the son/mother dance song for no extra charge!

I have had the pleasure of working with Souled Out both professionally as well as getting to experience them first hand at my own wedding. You can believe every word that you have heard about them. Souled Out was my first choice to play at my wedding and I'm so thankful that they were available. The entire band exceeded my expectations in every way possible. We were told about Souled Out a year ago by our Wedding Coordinator and found out that they were playing at a club near us so we had to check them out. They looked entertaining with the horns and all so we said lets book them. David was fantastic, easy to work with and quick to answer any concerns of ours. Well last night Souled Out played for my daughters reception and they were amazing! Our guest loved them! I heard from so many guest, even the ones that do not dance, how much they were enjoying the band. The energy was phenomenal and the dance floor was packed all night!!! When the time came to say good night no one was ready to leave. Thank You for making their night, a night they will never forget!
