My wife and I were pleased with the meticulous approach that Anthony applied to our wedding. Using his thorough forms, we appreciated the chance to highlight our favorite hits and styles and to outline any and all special musical moments during the celebration. While collaborating with us on calls and during the big day, he always remained upbeat and energetic. Our reception proved a pleasant surprise, for we heard some of the songs we requested as well as many adjacent to our preferences that brought us back to our childhoods and beyond. Finally, Anthony used software to remove the lyrics from a song we chose for our ceremony. The quality was so smooth, and it was timed just perfectly to my wife’s entrance, that the moment took my breath away while I was standing at the altar. Thank you, Anthony!

We couldn't have imagined our wedding night without SAE. Once booking with them, they were so organized with the timeline. Anthony was super easy to communicate and work with. He is a great MC and gets the crowd going. DJ Eric had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night long. Kevin on the sax was the highlight of the night. Our guests raved about him all night and kept the party going. The photobooth attendant was so helpful and our guests really enjoyed him. I cannot talk highly enough about these guys. Our guests still talk about how much fun they had and how the music was on point. The best ever! Definitely recommend. 10/10.

Anthony and his team were truly amazing and helped make our wedding day exceptional! Anthony was quick to accommodate a meeting upon our first inquiry and we knew right away that he would be the perfect addition for our big day! We also could not have been happier with the process after booking Anthony. His system makes everything so seamless. Not only does he go out of his way to make himself available for questions and support, his questionnaire prior to the wedding ensured the day would be a success. He listened and carried out our requests and was able to incorporate music that got everyone dancing! Our friends and family could not stop raving about how great everything was. Our wedding was a night to remember and my husband and I are very grateful to Anthony. He handled the flow of events and the music seamlessly. He is clearly seasoned, and not at all overbearing. The Soundactive event guys were absolutely amazing! The dance floor was packed all night, and all of our guests are still commenting on how amazing the music and vibe was! We cannot thank you enough! Going into our wedding day, we had extremely high expectations for our DJ and MC team. They needed to seamlessly mix Bollywood and American music, they needed to organize cuts of songs for several special dances, and they needed to fit in an ambitious amount of events, including sparklers, performances, and dance sets. Eric and Jason were the perfect team - we could not have asked for better! They kept the energy high all night and worked with us in the moment to ensure that everything stayed organized and on track. We had an absolutely amazing time working with Sound Active! Our venue recommended them, and we could not have been happier. They are extremely organized and provide an online portal that got us thinking about all sorts of music preferences that we had not even considered. They were considerate when we voiced our preferences mixed the music well. The DJ and MC kept people dancing all evening and the event flowed beautifully.

BEST DJ EVER!!! Just had our wedding this past weekend. Anthony and his team were amazing! He had worked with our venue multiple times and they organized a round of dancing between each course. Sound Active Events did an amazing job! Our guests (and us!) were dancing until the bitter end. Really enjoyed the fun and smooth transitions between songs to keep the energy going. I also appreciated our DJ/MC team following through on the timeline and double checking especially if it seemed like the energy of the party was shifting (i.e. maybe what was envisioned in the timeline doesn't make as much sense in real life). Overall it was a fantastic experience.

My wedding was this past Sunday! Sound active events were such a pleasure to work with!! After finding this vendor and giving them a call, I immediately clicked with the MC/DJ Anthony. His team for my wedding came with a DJ, MC, and someone who also ran the photo booth. My family LOVES to party even on a Sunday! Sound active events understood the assignment! My family/friends were dancing all night!!!!! they played my playlist perfectly during the ceremony and they were on point with reading the crowd. They were so friendly and attentive! Also, we were not sure if we were able to get a dry ice machine for the "cloud effect" being that this is so hard to find nowadays. We used Sound Active Events at our wedding earlier this month and cannot recommend then enough! We had our ceremony at a private home followed by a reception at a hotel, so going into wedding planning, I was a bit nervous to find a DJ who could accommodate both. When we found Anthony, he assured us it was no problem at all! We loved going through their online portal and organizing all of our songs for each major part of the wedding/reception. The portal is super user friendly and kept us organized, while also giving us great recommendations for songs when we were stumped. At the reception, Anthony did an amazing job of keeping everyone on the dance floor by playing songs that kept everyone singing along. We had so many friends and family tell us he was one of the best wedding DJs they had encountered and we could not agree more!

Would never have guessed that my favorite wedding vendor would be our DJ, but Sound Active Events was that good. They were super organized from start to finish. Sound Active's thorough pre-event questionnaire eliminates all your music worries for your big day so that a solid expectation level is in place. The MC & DJ absolutely rocked the house for our wedding. Our guests are currently unable to walk from dancing so much. They kept the crowd involved and entertained. If you want your guests to talk about how much fun your wedding was days after your event- book Sound Active Events!! Anthony and his team were amazing to work with start to finish. Despite the craziness of Covid, Anthony took the time to speak with us multiple times to get all the details down which really showed the day of the wedding. I don't think there was one song played the the entire wedding didn't want to dance to. We even had couples come up to us after our wedding saying they wished they would have known about Sound Active before so they could have booked them. We also hired a saxophone player to our DJ which really amped up all the guests and added an extra something to the day! We cannot thank Anthony and his team enough for making our event so much fun!

We would highly recommend Anthony and his team! When you book with Sound Active you are provided a website log in to fill out forms and questionnaires regarding the event. Although it seems a bit tedious, it is a super organized way for the team to get all the info they need to make sure the night goes off without a hitch. You can fill in bridal party info, choose what songs you do/don't to hear and even get suggestions for songs for different events throughout the night (such as suggestions for the cake cutting, etc.). What's even better is that you can listen to snippets of the songs right from the client. The day of, Anthony and his team did a great job. We only gave a few suggestions as to what songs we wanted to hear and what kind of music we liked and Anthony did a masterful job of keeping the party going. We have been to weddings where no one was on the dance floor, but our wedding was certainly not one of them. Other than breaks for dinner and speeches, there was always a packed dance floor with people having a great time. We would recommend including the TVs in your package and providing a photo montage because our guests had a great time reminiscing throughout the night whenever a picture of them would come up. The GOBO was also a nice touch. Do yourself a favor and book Sound Active Events for your wedding. You won't regret it.

When planning for our wedding, it was important for my husband and I to have an amazing DJ and we got that and more. When having to postpone for COVID, Anthony was more than understanding of the situation and made it super easy to adjust for our new wedding date. We got married this past weekend (8-7-21) and people are still telling us how great the DJ was -- many saying that it's the best DJ and MC they've ever had at a wedding. Anthony was our MC and checked in on my husband and I throughout the night in addition to keeping our guests entertained. We needed a DJ who would be able to read the crowd and keep them dancing -- our family and friends are always on the dance floor -- and Eric hit it out of the park. My husband's family is from Ghana and we wanted Afrobeats as well as a mix of other music. With a suggestion of one song, Eric understood the whole vibe we were going for and delivered with an amazing set for the whole night. I do not say this lightly that you cannot go wrong with Anthony and his crew for your wedding! (If you're searching for a boring time -- you definitely should look elsewhere.)

Sound Active Events made our wedding one for the books! We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning a future wedding. My husband & I really wanted a live musician for our ceremony so we decided on a harp and Nina was simply AMAZING at every song she played on the harp. My wife Ashlee and I got married yesterday on July 3rd 2021 at Crabtree’s Kittle House and Inn and Anthony and the crew hooked up a killer set up and it was wonderful! We had cloud nine smoke, a sax player lighting for the entire room and some tv’s with the photographer! It was excellent and absolutely would recommend anyone to use these guys! They’re great !

Anthony and everyone at Sound Active did such a great job. We had to change our original wedding date from July 11, 2020 to May 1, 2021 because of COVID and he accommodated us with no problem. It was such a relief to have booked a DJ that was so understanding and helpful throughout this whole process. Anthony was amazing! He has such a broad variety of genres of music and can play pretty much anything you want! He knows how to keep people dancing all night and will incorporate everything you want! His online portal lets you preview songs and has suggestions by genre and wedding event (ie first dance, cutting the cake, garter removal, etc) which takes away a lot of the work for all the small details. He also has lots of cool lighting and bubble effects which add another dimension to the party and are great for photos. Above all Anthony is such a pleasure to work with and so easy to be in contact with!

The most important thing is having a DJ that's a true expert who knows how to read your crowd and pack the dance floor -- and Anthony is your guy! Anthony and his team was phenomenal! He definitely can read the crowd and figure out what songs to play and what not to play. We never had an empty floor besides the first dance, mother/son dance, father/daughter dance and when dinner was served! Throughout the wedding planning process, the online portal Anthony has with his clients is absolutely amazing! Definitely keeps you on top of things and allowed us to listen to some songs before choosing the ones he did! We chose his photobooth and people absolutely loved it and the props were amazing! After booking my venue, choosing the right DJ/MC for my 9/27/19 wedding was a huge priority for me. They are what really set the tone for the whole night, so I wanted the right voice and vibe! I did a lot of research and price comparisons, and I am so happy that I chose Sound Active Events. Anthony, the owner, is very organized and uses an online portal to keep track of all your music, names, wedding flow and special requests. He was our MC, and did every single thing I asked! Our live sax player Kevin was a huge hit. He played along with EVERYTHING and our guests raved about him. Teddy was an awesome DJ, he kept the guest hyped up and dancing all night long! We are huge 90s music fans and Teddy and Anthony made sure to play all the throwbacks, and mashed them up. SO MUCH FUN! The photo booth, run by Cassandra, was also a huge hit with our guests. There were people in there all night long. Ps- the “dancing on a cloud” was totally worth a few extra bucks to WOW our guests during our first dance. We wanted a more non-traditional style wedding where it was more like a party-feel - no dances, no stopping and up/down all the time - and he listened and did just that! Anthony and Sound Active Events absolutely killed it at our wedding! Our venue had a massive dance floor, and he got all of our guests to fill it out all night long. Everyone loved him so much he had our guests chanting "one more song" to try and keep the party going. In fact, we are now 4 days after our wedding, and we still have guests calling to say how awesome Anthony was. From the booth to light set up, Anthony exceeded our expectations. He played all the music we wanted, and didn't stray outside of our guidelines. Speaking of guidelines, Anthony has a client portal he walks each of his clients through to create a totally customizable script so everyone is on the same page the night of their wedding. Songs (eras & genres), speeches, first dance, and how to handle guest requests are all planned out exactly how you want it. From our initial meeting until the end of the party, Anthony couldn't have been better to work with. I highly recommend him to DJ your wedding. You definitely will not regret it!

What an amazing set they played! The dj read the crowd perfectly, and even made adjustments as it got later. The sax is a must! And our vocalist Mary was incredible too! Anthony stayed in contact with us throughout the night and just killed it. No detail was left behind!
