The team is made up of Bob Cooper, Mike Wilk and Joe Mindlin, three talented individuals with a passion for life behind the decks. Bob, the founder of Sound Advice, is an industry ever-present with more than six decades of experience under his belt. Mike, his partner in music for more than 20 years, is a fun-loving professional that focuses on providing a personalized experience from start to finish. Joe has over 40 years of experience with a true sense of professionalism and attention to detail, always outgoing to his clientele. Together, the trio exudes a sense of confidence and necessary tact when reading the dancefloor. Sound Advice is all about bringing your vision to life to ensure you receive the entertainment your wedding deserves. Getting to know your musical preferences is all a part of the process as these experts strive to curate your ideal playlist. Bob, Mike, and Joe are all comfortable with a microphone and are happy to take care of your DJ and MC needs. Sound Advice is also proud to offer photobooth services for all your wedding and event needs.     I've been in the dj entertainment business for over 60 years. I am not an "over the top" dj. Announcements are made and such as introductions for weddings, cake cutting etc. I do coordinate all events with the caterer, the photographer and the videographer. I work very closely with the people that have hired me. For weddings, I will meet the bride & groom in their area, as often as they want to meet.

loves adding personal touches to your wedding- he created a decal with our names to project on the ceiling. From the first song to the very last dance, the music was spot-on. He totally got our vibe and mixed in all the right songs to keep everyone out there dancing. He was also able to bring in a photobooth which all of my guests LOVED. Thank you Joe!!

municated so thoroughly with everyone that was there, so that we all knew what was going on at all the important parts. Their game ideas during the reception were super fun and unique. Multiple guests came up to me to say how much they enjoyed different things, and I had to keep saying, "Yeah, that was our DJ's genius!" Fantastic job <3 They really made our day special.

NYC dance clubs. The minute I talked to Bob I knew he was going to meet our need. He delivered on his promise to play music, help the night run smoothly, and get our guests on the dance floor, without being overbearing. He did an amazing job playing music at our ceremony..even provided wireless speakers for our outdoor location. During the ceremony he ensured that the night ran smoothly, he accommodated all of our requests, and made sure the dance floor stayed full of happy guests. From day one Bob was accommodating with the price, to the contract, to the hours worked. Every step of the way Bob was happy to work with us! Thank you Bob for making our wedding such a special day!
