eat. Mark Bloomstein was our DJ, who kept the party going all night long, took requests and gave us good recommendations while planning. The photo booth was a major hit, with fun props and a helpful attendant, even the staff at our venue commented on how efficient and organized they were at setting up and breaking down. Highly recommend these guys if you are planning for a good time!

he date of our wedding, and Peter wasn’t available, so we ended up with Erin, who was also fantastic. Before the wedding, Erin was very responsive and communicative to make sure she understood the vision we had for our wedding. Erin listened to our requests, she checked in frequently on the night of the wedding, and she communicated well to make sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. During our cocktail hour, we had deluge, which required Erin to re-setup all of her equipment. She handled the situation very well, checking in to let us know what was going on, but making sure there was no disruption for our guests. During the reception, Erin had to initially prod the guests to get on the dance floor. After the first song, however, people didn’t stop dancing. Erin read the crowd perfectly, and people said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend Sound Choice!

re very budget conscious, and Peter was very accommodating with regards to helping us stay within our budget. I know a lot of DJs are hard to deal with in that regard, but Peter's ability to work with us, and not turn his nose up gave us a great feeling right from the beginning. We went in knowing what we wanted (for the most part), but Peter was excellent with suggestions and recommendations, but still made sure he catered to our wants and needs without being pushy at all. Peter is also very aware and sensitive to how the bride and groom want the DJ to act in regards to energy level, chasing the crowd, etc., and he was just the right amount of energetic for what we wanted! His music selection was great, and that is also key, but Peter had some pretty obscure music in his catalog, and was also willing and able to locate the few songs we requested for the reception, which was awesome. He did a wonderful job emceeing, and did an excellent job with announcements and name pronunciations, which can often be over-looked, but Peter was keen on ensuring that he was pronouncing every person's name correctly. At the back half of our reception, we had a smaller crowd on the floor, and I was coming up to Peter practically after (or even during) each song requesting specific songs (some not even on our list) and he was truly excellent with that, and had no problems keeping up with my back-to-back (to back!) song requests. I also appreciated the way he was able to "fade" in between songs, which is a small detail, but something that I loved about Peter's DJing style. We will certainly recommend Peter and Sound Choice to our friends and family (and anyone reading this) for DJing services for weddings, or really any other occasion!

Peter really listened to us as we had several unusual requests in terms of dancing (music choices) & made suggestions on how to make everything work just right so we got the day we had always wanted. Peter was very professional with us and our vendors (they even commented on it too) and when it was time to dance, Peter packed the floor and kept it that way ALL night long! Sound Choice has a lot of great services to offer, we added the photobooth and uplighting to our package and they were a big hit! The room was a bit tricky, but Peter set the lights up perfectly so it made the room shine and guests loved taking home photos from the booth-and we even got copies of all the pics on a cd soon after our wedding-SO much fun to see what everyone was up to in there! GREAT NIGHT, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT-BEST WEDDING EVER (if I do say so myself)...thanks Peter!

e we were happy! We also used uplighting & their photobooth. Our dance floor was packed all night. Use them. I've been to two weddings with them DJing and can't say enough good things about them!!

room made a really standard song request, she didn't play it. I think she played it too safe with family-friendly songs even though we wanted the young crowd dancing the whole time. I thought that was clear but I (the bride) kept having to ask her to jump it up a few decades.

y wedding night a night I would never forget...and he succeeded! He knew how to read the crowd and when to switch up the tempo. I will continue to hire Peter for any event I plan! I also used sound choice events for a photo booth which was a huge hit with my guests. I would really recommend spending the extra money on it for your guest book.

ing he didn't read emails/listen to vm very carefully, but it all worked out in the end. I do recommend sound choice if your not into games, gimics, etc.

ad two full days of activities in various locations, including last minute changes due to weather. John never missed a BEAT, he was set up and ready to go, and always kept the party moving. :)
