ight away! During our first meeting, he took the time to answer all our questions, from how to keep the dance floor busy, and how to handle COVID protocols. He was a true professional and a pleasure to work with. He was gracious enough to help us understand the natural fluctuation of wedding plan. He also gave us a lot of really helpful suggestions on how and when different activities such as the first dance, toasts, etc. could take place, and on musical selections! He also worked really well with the jazz musicians we had from the cocktail hour into dinner. It was a seamless transition that made dinner really fun. At Pete's suggestion, we included uplighting based on the size of the space and number of guests. This was BIG hit with our guests and it added a great energy/vibe to the dance floor. We had small wedding (35 people) so we thought the dance floor would have its ebbs and flow, but DJ Pete kept the party going. The dance floor was packed the entire night!! One of the highlights we still keep hearing from our guests was how much they enjoyed the music/DJ. If you have a chance, hire Pete as your DJ for your wedding or any other event where you want people to dance the night away! You and your guests will have such an amazing time. He really made our wedding a special event and we can't thank him enough!!!

We wanted to hire a DJ that would read the room to keep our guests on the dance floor and Peter made that happen! We had a photo booth that was very safe and clean with his attendant. I was unsure about introductions or first dance, etc. The day of the wedding went exactly how he said it would - he checked in with me often and he did everything perfectly. We wanted a dancing vibe - no slow song! And he delivered the best party ever. I gave him about 25 songs and the other songs he filled in around those were perfect. Highly recommend!

ne the right services for my event (the right booth size and up lighting for the venue) and was super flexible when I had an unexpected venue change. I must have emailed Peter over 50 times throughout the process and never had to wait very long for a thorough response. The lighting made our high school cafeteria wedding feel more formal and folks had an amazing time in the photo booth. The email to self option was super easy and everyone loved the printed photo strips. And I got a digital copy of all of the pictures that week. Also, paying through the PayPal link on the website was so easy. One delta that my day-of coorindator just informed me of is that our lighting tech person was unapologetically an hour late for setup time.

Mark Bloomstein was our DJ, who kept the party going all night long, took requests and gave us good recommendations while planning. The photo booth was a major hit, with fun props and a helpful attendant, even the staff at our venue commented on how efficient and organized they were at setting up and breaking down. Highly recommend these guys if you are planning for a good time!

ter after seeing him at our friends’ wedding. We had to change the date of our wedding, and Peter wasn’t available, so we ended up with Erin, who was also fantastic. Before the wedding, Erin was very responsive and communicative to make sure she understood the vision we had for our wedding. Erin listened to our requests, she checked in frequently on the night of the wedding, and she communicated well to make sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. During our cocktail hour, we had deluge, which required Erin to re-setup all of her equipment. She handled the situation very well, checking in to let us know what was going on, but making sure there was no disruption for our guests. During the reception, Erin had to initially prod the guests to get on the dance floor. After the first song, however, people didn’t stop dancing. Erin read the crowd perfectly, and people said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend Sound Choice!

, Peter was more than helpful with the entire process. We were very budget conscious, and Peter was very accommodating with regards to helping us stay within our budget. I know a lot of DJs are hard to deal with in that regard, but Peter's ability to work with us, and not turn his nose up gave us a great feeling right from the beginning. We went in knowing what we wanted (for the most part), but Peter was excellent with suggestions and recommendations, but still made sure he catered to our wants and needs without being pushy at all. Peter is also very aware and sensitive to how the bride and groom want the DJ to act in regards to energy level, chasing the crowd, etc., and he was just the right amount of energetic for what we wanted! His music selection was great, and that is also key, but Peter had some pretty obscure music in his catalog, and was also willing and able to locate the few songs we requested for the reception, which was awesome. He did a wonderful job emceeing, and did an excellent job with announcements and name pronunciations, which can often be over-looked, but Peter was keen on ensuring that he was pronouncing every person's name correctly. At the back half of our reception, we had a smaller crowd on the floor, and I was coming up to Peter practically after (or even during) each song requesting specific songs (some not even on our list) and he was truly excellent with that, and had no problems keeping up with my back-to-back (to back!) song requests. I also appreciated the way he was able to "fade" in between songs, which is a small detail, but something that I loved about Peter's DJing style. We will certainly recommend Peter and Sound Choice to our friends and family (and anyone reading this) for DJing services for weddings, or really any other occasion!

Peter was very professional with us and our vendors (they even commented on it too) and when it was time to dance, Peter packed the floor and kept it that way ALL night long! Sound Choice has a lot of great services to offer, we added the photobooth and uplighting to our package and they were a big hit! The room was a bit tricky, but Peter set the lights up perfectly so it made the room shine and guests loved taking home photos from the booth-and we even got copies of all the pics on a cd soon after our wedding-SO much fun to see what everyone was up to in there! GREAT NIGHT, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT-BEST WEDDING EVER (if I do say so myself)...thanks Peter!
