We decided to go with Karl as our DJ based on previous reviews on The Knot. We could not have been more pleased with his service! A quick breakdown: - Music - Fantastic. Karl's website allows you to easily select songs you want played, and those that you don't. He was VERY attentive to the crowd, we never had fewer than 30 people on the dance floor. Prior to the dance beginning there were several small children on the floor. Karl noticed this and played music from "Frozen" for them, which was a hit! This just highlights how crowd-oriented he is. - Professionalism - Communication was prompt and professional. He was very easy to work with and communicated well with our venue staff, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day. He coordinated toasts and dinner announcements well, and gave us valuable input on timing to keep the evening flowing smoothly. - Crowd interaction - Just the right amount for us. He spoke into the mic maybe 3-5 times to keep the crowd going, but certainly did not overdo it. His music selection alone was sufficient to keep the crowd happy. We could not recommend Karl more highly. We received multiple compliments from our guests on the DJ and the music.

Karl Dehkes from Sound Decision was courteous and funny and an all around great guy to work with. He was willing to listen and answer all of my questions and put up with changing my mind on some things due to budgeting issues. We had seen him work at a friends wedding and knew that he would be a great fit. He knew when to play some slow songs and accommodated requests from the guests! He was truly wonderful! Thank you Karl!

Karl is amazing he is very attentive to your musical preferences. He has a huge library of songs and if there is something he dosent have that you want he gets it asap. He even let us play movie theme songs as the background music before the ceremony! He emceed the whole night from announcing which table can go up to eat, to introducing BM and MOH speeches. He can read the group of people dancing and adjust his music to keep them dancing (which was very important to me, its no fun if no one dances!) Also he is THE most polite person I have ever met. At the end of the night he brought out two pairs comically large sunglasses so now one of my favorite photos from the wedding is me and my husband dancing in those sunglasses! It was PERFECT! If you don't hire him your crazy :)

I've been to many weddings and experienced many types of DJ's. So when I was looking I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. Karl will fit any type of DJ you want. I was looking for moderately interactive, and he was perfect. He kept the party going and let everyone have a blast. He went with the flow and followed all my requests to the letter. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He also offered a military discount, which was wonderful!! If I had to do it all over again, I would hire Karl in a heartbeat!!

My husband and I got married two months ago and couldn't have been happier with our decision to have Sound Decision Entertainment for our DJ. Karl not only helped me with planning out the sequence of our special day, but showed up to our rehearsal, and provided the most fantastic equipment and speedy set up possible. The day was seamless and his upbeat and fun personality put all our guests at ease! The music choices were impeccable and we are so glad we chose SDE. It was most definitely a Sound Decision.
