Hiring TD Layman with Sound Enforcement was one of the best investments we made for our wedding.
From the beginning, TD was incredibly organized, communicative, and available thro...
ughout every stage of planning. He made the music and reception planning process feel easy and stress-free, and we always felt confident that everything was in good hands.
Most importantly: he absolutely delivered on wedding day. His music selection was incredible, he seamlessly accommodated a wide variety of genres and requests, and somehow managed to create a playlist that kept everyone happy and on the dance floor. Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had and how packed the dance floor was all night.
TD also went far beyond simply playing music—he was an exceptional MC. When our timeline inevitably ran a little behind schedule, he adjusted effortlessly, kept everything flowing smoothly, and helped maintain the energy of the evening without making anything feel stressful or rushed. He even accommodated a last-minute request to stay an extra hour, which we appreciated more than we can express.
He was definitely one of the higher-end vendors within our budget, but after experiencing how much he contributed to the energy and success of our reception, we are incredibly grateful we did not cut corners on music. The quality, professionalism, flexibility, and overall experience exceeded every expectation we had.
If having an unforgettable dance floor and an experienced professional who can adapt to anything is important to you, we cannot recommend TD enough.

Our reception was longer than average, and TD never had a lull in the music. Our guests were dancing the entire night. He did a fantastic job balancing songs and genres throughout the night. We had several specific song requests for the event, and he played them all at the perfect time. TD’s professionalism and communication were exceptional, and his music throughout the night could not have been better.
T.D. was AMAZING!! Aside from being an incredible DJ who kept the party going all night, he is just a great person with a fun personality! He is so easy to work with and helpful th...
roughout the planning process. As a planner, I loved every bit of working with Sound Enforcement and know you will too.
T.D. from sound enforcement was INCREDIBLE! He was extremely easy to talk to, well organized, and a great guy. He worked with us to create a playlist that had a mix of our requests...
with his own choices, and it was perfect. We certainly had a party reception and everyone had a great time, and complimented the music. He also performed our ceremony music - we selected very specific piano versions of songs from YouTube, and he was able to play them no problem. He also supplied lapel mics for our ceremony, as well as a mic stand for a reading, and that helped so much! Especially because our ceremony was outdoors! We can't recommend T.D. and Sound Enforcement enough!!

t we did not have to shout to be heard by our guests in the back. For the reception, T.D. did a great job getting people on to the dance floor. He even jumped in to show us the steps for a line dance! I would highly recommend T.D. and Sound Enforcement DJ Services!!
We learned about Sound Enforcement on a recommendation from our caterer, who had worked with TD before and spoke very highly of him. After talking to TD on the phone, we hired him...
and are so happy we did!
He is professional yet laid back, willing to help out with songs and give his opinion on your choices and time lines if asked (which I asked!). Due to some health issues of family members, our timeline got moved without a lot of notice. TD took it all in stride, accommodating our requests and doing so without breaking a sweat. He got every up and dancing, with slow and fast songs, and when I talked to him a week before the wedding about the details, he put me at ease.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Sounds Enforcement and TD. I would highly recommend him!
I cannot say enough good things about Sound Enforcement. T.D. was amazing and extremely professional at my wedding. This was a half Colombian and half American crowd, so I wanted t...
o make sure everyone had music they enjoyed. He provided an entire checklist for the type of music that I envisioned throughout each event. The party did not disappoint; everyone was up on the dance floor once the party kicked off. The whole event went really smoothly and I didn't have to worry about the flow of night. I highly recommend him!
T.D. was a consummate professional—easy to talk to and easy to work with. He was very patient in answering technical and run-of-show questions, made sure all of our details were as...
we wanted them (including our using custom song tracks for different cues) with multiple check-ins, and even accommodated last-minute playlist alterations. On the day of, his equipment ran flawlessly and he did a great job of facilitating the reception without making himself the center of attention at all. We strongly recommend him.

the space, and then the music and flow of the cocktail hour and reception was amazing! He was a blast to have at our wedding and we would highly recommend working with him!
We picked TD as our DJ because he was very friendly and of course had a great price tag. He sends a questionnaire for the couple to indicate song preferences and other important d...
etails, and I liked that organization. He is definitely more laid back, and I had to take the initiative to reach out with things like, “hey isn’t there supposed to be a questionnaire?” and even “hey, my balance is due, how do I pay you?” haha, but it all worked out. I think these things would only even be questioned by Type A people like me. TD is a great guy, and he did a great job at being our wedding DJ!
TD did an incredible job with the music for our wedding. We gave him a short list of songs we really wanted to hear and the genres we liked (from Motown to 90s music to current hit...
s) and he knocked it out of the park. We received many compliments from our guests that they had a great time because the dance floor was always full. The music was one of the highlights of our big day. Many thanks!!

dance party, we were given TD’s information. From the detailed pre-wedding questionnaire and phone conversations to the day of our wedding, T.D. was very professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. We also used T.D. for our ceremony amplification. We are happy to report that we did not have any microphone malfunctions! Most importantly, the reception was truly a party from the time we were introduced until the time we made our escape. From the lighted monogram initials, choreographed dances, and a variety of music, he made sure we had everything we asked for. T.D. kept us to our timeline and kept the guests aware of the happenings around the venue. We are so thankful to have had him as our D.J., as many memories were made on the dance floor that night. 5 stars from us! Thank you, T.D.

ute that to T.D.! Also, we had our reception in two separate rooms and he made sure that the sound was mirrored in both rooms so announcements could be hear in both rooms. Our day of wedding planner turned out to be a bust and T.D. was so easy going and just smiled and told me not to worry about it, that we'd get everyone where they needed to be on time. And he did, he made the announcements on time for dances, cake cutting, moving to the tent... he was just a GIFT! When deciding on uplighting, he was so very patient as I changed my mind twice in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He not only knows how to read a crowd, an amazing MC, but also he's a calming force on a hectic day, and he's caring and kind person and I'd work with him again at any event I have in the future.

ct music and he double and triple checked all the details prior to the big day. He talked us through tiny details (like exactly how long it would take to get our bridal party down the aisle to make sure our music selections would work) and had our timeline of events down to the minute to keep us on track. My family and friends have difficult to pronounce names but he made sure he had each one perfect and that small detail meant so much to me.
He also provided beautiful uplighting and a gorgeous custom design monogram spotlight. Each little detail made the wedding personal and special.
TD was exactly what we wanted in a DJ - he was able to keep the reception moving and make subtle announcements, but he was never in our face and was definitely NOT one of those cheesy DJs that makes themselves the center of attention. He perfectly read the musical and dancing tastes of our crowd and played the perfect song one after the other. I never left the dance floor and neither did my guests.
I could not have asked for a better fit for our event. Thanks TD!

d and needed. He understands what is expected and what fit with our personalities. He goes beyond the call of just being a DJ, he is the perfect combination of professionalism and receptiveness. He helped to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. He supplied and ran the microphones for the service, played music from dinner until the end of the night, and was our MC. He also told me, the bride, not to worry about anything on the day of the wedding related to music, microphones, and our timeline. And thanks to him, I didn't worry about any of it because everything went according to the plan. He also played the perfect music for us and our guests that kept everyone dancing and on their feet throughout the night. He has a great command of the audience. He MC-ed throughout the night, but was not intrusive and made sure the music and scheduled events were the focus of the night. Almost all of our guests, including several family members and friends, made it a point to tell us after the wedding how much they loved our DJ and what an amazing job he did of playing music and MC-ing. We highly recommend T.D. and Sound Enforcement for any and all occasions. Thank you T.D.!!! We can not express how much we appreciate you and how integral you were in making our wedding perfect!!

e phone after he answered our many questions and we were confident we were on the same page. When the time got closer I had a few concerns about songs and the lay out but TD put me at ease and going into our wedding day I didn't worry at all. On the day of our wedding he was more than great! He arrived on time, had everything organized and ready to go, and looked very professional! TD played a great variety of songs and had everyone dancing! He played the songs we told him were important to us and the rest was up to him. He picked perfectly! Besides the great song selections he also made sure the people giving speeches knew when to speak, where to stand, etc. We can't say enough great things about TD and his services, we highly recommend him for any event!
