losely with our event coordinator to ensure every part of the evening transitioned smoothly, from dancing to speeches, to the cake cutting and flower toss. There were no awkward pauses, and the energy stayed up all night! Everyone kept telling us how much they loved the music.
We had the chance to meet with Monica before the wedding, and she really took the time to understand our preferences. We had a unique request: we wanted to make sure both our Spanish and English speaking guests felt welcome with a diverse mix of music. Since we didn’t have a specific playlist in mind, we trusted them with the vision, and they absolutely nailed it! They created the perfect wedding soundtrack that kept everyone engaged and on the dance floor.
We also booked their photo booth, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. While we waited for our professional photos to be edited, we already had fun photo booth memories to look back on and guests loved being able to take home prints!
The uplighting they provided was also stunning and completely transformed the venue to match our vibe. And to top it all off, the entire team was so kind and attentive throughout the night. They constantly checked in to see if we needed anything and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.
We truly cannot recommend them enough! If you want a team that will bring your vision to life and treat your event like their own, this is it!

Look no further if you want to keep your wedding guests dancing all night. Our guests loved the music and had a hard time leaving the dance floor thanks to Sound Event DJs, and so ...
did we. They'll keep the dance floor lively all night, but they also kill it on the mic. We had the best host help us flow through our reception and into the dancing. The pre-wedding process with Sound Event DJs was so helpful and really made the wedding the event we dreamed of. They let you select the genres of music you want played throughout the night, which really set the stage for success because we wanted a mix of reggaeton, pop, and alternative based on our guest list. And they delivered, because our guests complimented the music throughout the night and had to be pulled off the dance floor! We also got a beautiful photobooth with the DJ with a flower wall and neon sign. Our guests loved this too! We have so many hilarious photos from the photo booth. I was on the fence about getting a photobooth, but they give you a USB of all the photos taken at the end of the night, so I was sold. I now have a digital copy of my guests having an amazing time.

tailed in terms of music you want played and since my requests were very specific, they even accommodated me in letting me use a google sheet that I created with all of my details for all the music to be played at my wedding. The best part is that I wanted a mashup (blend) of two songs (You are all I need (Marvin & Method versions) for my ceremony exit and they were able to do that. It was fantastic.
Whatever you are into, whatever music/genre you want played, mixed or whatever, they can do it. I was worried about transitions and they nailed it.
And to make my event extra special, Monica gifted me with uplighting!! It MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE and it was noticeable!

They give you access to a whole event manager portal where you can input the details for your wedding/event, preferences, song lists (must play, play if possible, do not play), wedding event details, everything. In advance of the event they met with us to review timeline of the event, review our requested details and their invaluable recommendations. They even accommodated some last minutes changes on our end and they made me feel so relaxed the day of. Our guests had a BLAST at the photobooth and the dance floor was going all evening. wedding, but it all worked out OK! They use an online form for you to add your information into, which was really helpful and kept everything in one place. We used some additional services, including the white rose backdrop with the LED sign and the photo booth. The photo booth was great, and we received a TON of compliments on the backdrop. I am most appreciate to Jorge for helping stall right before my husband and I were announced for the first time, as I suddenly became ill and needed 2-3 minutes of time before I could enter the reception hall. Jorge had the bridal party dance and my guests had no idea that something went wrong (on my end)! We had a guitarist and who at the last minute fell ill, but luckily the team found a replacement, and threw in the first dance on a cloud, which we appreciated. Overall I would recommend Sound Event DJs for your event!

meeting, it was evident that Monica knew her stuff- she has been in the wedding music business for so long and we can tell! She was professional, responsive, and kind. She also provided so many suggestions on what we could do and sent us pictures/videos to facilitate. We also met DJ Jorge over a video call- Monica and Jorge made time during their family vacation to meet with us which was beyond nice! We ended up selecting the package that included a DJ and live musicians (percussionist and sax), and uplighting.
DJ Jorge and the live musicians did NOT disappoint the day of! We had the BEST TIME and I literally did not leave the dance floor to go to the bar once after dinner was served as the music was SO good! Jorge and the live musicians outdid themselves and we are so thankful for them. There were some hiccups along the day with the timeline (unrelated to music), and I remember Monica and Jorge giving me a big hug which I will remember. We highly Sound Event DJs to anyone who wants to dance non-stop all night and have the best wedding! Lots of love, Ann & Devon

o help me with whatever I needed - music or non-music-related. I was instantly able to trust them upon our first meeting, and they fully understood our vibe and expectations - trust me guys, they are experienced! the wedding party was a BLAST, and out-of-towners even mentioned that they needed to be sure and book my 'miami dj' for their wedding. I danced for 3 hours non-stop, and so did my entire wedding. there wasn't 1 song that was played that had 1/2 the wedding sit down as I've witnessed at other weddings. If I was back at day 1 of being engaged and had to do it all over, I would stick with them. Honestly, stop reading reviews and just book them. you will not be disappointed.

I would recommend Sound Event DJs to anyone looking for a good DJ. We hired them for our recent wedding. Monica took the time to answer all our questions prior to our booking Sound...
Event DJs. My husband and I were provided with a link where we were able to select songs that "must be played", "play if possible", and "do not play", as well as specific songs to be played at certain points (our entrance, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, etc.) The DJ, Jorge, not only followed our requests, but also added the perfect mix of other songs, that had the whole room dancing the entire evening. I don't think there was ever a moment that the dance floor was empty other than when everyone was eating dinner. Sound Event DJs also provided uplighting that helped tie together the room. The did not just meet, but in fact exceeded all my expectations for the evening. 10/10 would recommend Sound Event DJs.

ood hands. Monica was there for us throughout our wedding journey. We were very detailed about what we wanted and they were definitely able to deliver everything we had asked. We are very happy we went with them because they kept the guests entertained and the dance floor lit. We were also provided with the photobooth and a TV screen for pictures. and TALENTED. He pumps the crowd up, his mixes are crazy good and he is so personable as well as professional. My family loves him and his wife Monica. Monica takes care of business! We used their lighting which was just beautiful during the reception and the misty bubble machine was a perfect touch to our send off. PLEASE hire Jorge for any event! He is THEE BEST!
