Joe was the DJ for our wedding this August. He was very professional and extremely accommodating. Responds quickly to any questions and offers great suggestions. He takes his du...
ties seriously and genuinely wants everyone to have a great time. He also can provide the lighting for your event if you need it. He helped make it a great!
What can I say?? He drove 5 hours to do our event and we were not disappointed! Our ceremony, reception and dance were all in the same place and he took care of the entire day and ...
night. It was great! We communicated mainly by email but was able to give a list of the songs we wanted and didn't want. At one point the venue had a problem with their lights and because of the up lighting from Sound Evolution DJ, no one even noticed them resetting their system. Our guests thought it was all part of the show. He was by far one of the easiest vendors we worked with and will recommend him to everyone!
We knew Joe from college and he DJ'd a friends wedding so we knew immediately who to contact when we got engaged. Joe is very passionate about what he does and loves to get the pa...
rty going. All of our guests were dancing all night long. He's been doing this for a while and he's very good at feeling out the crowd. If he's playing a song and dance floor clears out, he immediately changes the song because he wants to make sure everyone is having a good time and shaking their booty's.
Joe also played music for our ceremony and did a great job. It was raining a couple hours before the wedding and he moved everything inside to our backup location. An hour before the ceremony the sun came out and we decided to move everything outside. He and his coworker immediately got to work moving everything back outside so we could have music for our ceremony. We know it was a huge hassle for him but he made it happen and we are so grateful that he did.
If you are looking for a DJ who loves what he does and makes your reception one to remember, Joe is your guy!
We hired Joe after only having email contact with him and absolutely made the right choice.

d, even though my family is a bit lame on the dancing front. He also accommodated a lot of our crazy music requests, including a hard-to-find bit from SNL. The Boy Dance Party will live forever in our hearts. He also did a fabulous job handling last-minute, on-the-spot requests and surprise speeches.
Everyone loved Joe and we got a lot of compliments. Bonus, he did an amazing job lighting our hall. Joe really went above and beyond for us to make our night special, and we cannot thank him enough for that.
Joe was an absolutely AMAZING DJ. he has DJ'ed many of my college banquets so it was a no brainier id ask him to DJ my wedding. What i didn't know then is how much he'd go above an...
d beyond for me!! my piano player cancelled the day before the wedding and he agreed the same day after a frantic phone call to come early on the wedding day to learn the sound system, get the songs timed & ready and played the music for my ceremony on top of preparing for the reception. He saved me so many tears because of that. Then at the reception everyone came up to me at the wedding and said the music was FANTASTIC from cocktail hour to our last song of the night "piano man". My photographer said Joe seemed like he has been doing this for 25+ years. we loved all the up-lighting and the special effect lighting brought the room to life! if i could give him 10 stars i would!! thank you Joe you were perfect!!
Overall went pretty good!
My husband and I loved Sound Evolution so much. He was kind, fun, and professional from booking him, to planning, and all the way through to the reception. We are picky with our ...
music tastes and our do not play list and Joe was awesome at adhering to both. He reads the crowd really well and got everybody up and dancing having a good time. He was organized and professional and really great at communicating from booking all the way through to the wedding. I could not recommend him enough to share in your special day and make it even more special! Thank you so much Sound Evolution!!!
We loved having Joe as our wedding DJ. We had many questions and concerns in the months/weeks leading up to the wedding and he responded promptly and thoroughly to all of them. Whe...
n it came down to the week of the wedding, we were constantly in contact about plans and details.
Joe is such a genuine, good guy. He was very friendly throughout the process and super flexible with our difficult caterer/others. Like he says on his website, he is a lighting/sound nerd and it really shows in his setup. The music sounded amazing throughout and he really knows how to keep a group on the dancefloor! The lighting setup really is amazing and he complemented the tent lighting we set up ourselves very well.
Highly, highly recommend Sound Evolution for your wedding!
Joe is fantastic! We had him for our wedding just a couple weeks back and are quite pleased with everything he did for us. Everything from the music selection to the lights was f...
antastic! Best of all, Joe is just a fantastic guy that is super passionate about his work, his equipment, and showing everyone a good time. Since the wedding, I've had folks say what a great job he did. If we had to do it again, we'd choose him 100 times over.
Thanks Joe for everything you did for us. Great value. Great job. Don't think -- just pick him already!!
Did very well, made sure we were ok with the timelines of all the dances, dedicated specific songs. Only down point was that he was a bit quiet. I have a very big, loud and roudy...
family/friends, and it was hard to get people's attention for cake cutting/dances/speeches/etc. Overall, he did well and wasn't too overly priced comparatively.
It was very well done. The lighting was perfect for the venue and everything was done on time. I could not have been happier.
Joe at Sound Evolution know how to get the crowd going. He will make your event ROCK no matter what type of music you listen to. Also, what AMAZING LIGHTING. He did our wedding and...
had, by far, the best lighting at an event we had seen. His expertise is second to none and will make your event PERFECT. Lastly, for the cost of MANY other DJ's in the area, Joe was the lowest by far, but NEVER LACKED on QUALITY.
Thanks For Everything Joe
