eviews from our wedding guests as we all had a blast on the dance floor.
DJ Sandy was phenomenal—we truly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! The transitions were seamless, the energy was on point, and he knew exactly how to read the c...
rowd to keep the dance floor going all night long. So many of our guests told us it was one of the most fun wedding receptions they’ve ever been to, and we give Sandy full credit for that!
We were so happy with Sound Extreme and our DJ Steven! We booked them through our venue so they already came recommended, but they were wonderful. Their intake form covered tons of...
details about what vibes we wanted, music genres, specific songs, how interactive the DJ should be, etc.
When I spoke with our assigned DJ (shout out Steven Harris!), I felt so reassured and understood. He asked great questions to confirm what we did and didn't want, made suggestions that were brilliant, and I knew his experience and values were aligned with the kind of event we wanted so we felt confident and trusting that he would guide the evening through music, and he did!
Overall, we felt connected to and trusting of this person who played an important role for our big day and felt like he was one of our guests and one of our people. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and working with them was easy and enjoyable!
We used Sound Extreme for our wedding DJ and cannot recommend them and our DJ Steven enough. The whole process with Sound Extreme was great and streamlined. We sent over our Spotif...
y playlist for the reception and Steven was able to use and build off that. He gave us a call before our wedding and we chatted for a bit and got to know each other and his style. He was very nice and professional, giving good recommendations from past experience as to what other couples had done and what had worked well. On the day of our wedding, he came to set up at a time that was out of the way and before the reception. He made sure to seek us out to introduce himself in person before the reception started. He was very professional throughout the entire event. He made sure he had pronunciations of bridal party names correct which was impressive. When the time came after dinner for speeches, Steven noticed I (bride) wasn't finished eating yet so he kept the music going to delay a bit so I could finish eating which was super considerate. After I finished he cleared my plate too to make sure it wouldn't be in photos. He dealt with drunk guests great and made sure to thank us at the end of the evening for choosing him for the event. He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and blended the songs so the music flowed smoothly. So many quests talked about how great the music was. Make sure to give Sound Extreme a shout for your next DJ'd event and ask for Steven! Best wedding DJ I've seen yet
DJ Sandman did a great job listening to us on our so g choices for our reception. Everyone loved the music he played.
Sandy was LITERALLY the best DJ! He read the room so well and even advocated for me as the bride when people were putting in too many requests and it was hilarious! Too much fun ha...
ving him join us. He was flexible, super with the program of how I expected and wanted the night to go, and really just grooved with us all. So thankful for how he added to the magic of our night

ver heard, and we completely agree! We had one call to go over what we liked, what we didn't, and the style. He was like a mind/vibe reader and his set list had everyone on the dance floor the entire night!

hy! They are a really talented high energy band that fully brings the party. Once they started playing, the dancing did not stop all night long! We got so many compliments about them and people LOVED the mashups they did. They did a great job of reading the crowd and creating a perfect set list to keep everyone up on the dance floor and dancing and I saw people in my family dancing that I had NEVER EVER seen dance. Beyond that Ben was so incredibly professional to work with and was very patient with us when we got behind on creating our list of important songs. He had to pull everything together very last minute and did it flawlessly and graciously! We cannot recommend him enough!!
We loved our DJ and he had a great vibe he also transitioned between songs flawlessly. He double checked with everyone on how to pronounce their names and introduced us and the we...

hat with us, and make sure we were all on the same page for the big day. He was great and people were up dancing all night! We loved that we gave him a vibe, and he ran with it without us needing to make too many decisions. Absolutely had a blast and would recommend him to anyone!
Steven Harris performed our wedding at Lake Lure in early October...he was awesome!

page.
During reception he kept everyone engaged, on their feet and dancing!
He allowed request, and came to us to ask about a drunk Uncle who was requesting music that wasn’t wedding/celebratory in nature. LOL
Would hire him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to everyone!
We loved Steven at Sound Extreme for our wedding! He was extremely attentive, easy to work with, and we had the best night! Would highly recommend.

What a fun night! Steven did an excellent job following our crunched timeline and checking in with us for each moment that required any communication.

style constantly in mind throughout the night! We had a funky timeline, as we had to escape for photos, but Steven kept everyone entertained and directed them throughout the night on where they needed to go or be. I highly highly recommend Steven and would book him again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our reception so great, Steven!!

redible! We were able to talk with him about music preferences before the wedding day, and he was quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the day. Even though we had a small guest count, the dance floor was never empty. I had several people come up to me during and after the wedding to say how great the DJ was. Thanks for all your help, Steven!

and planning out our special songs, but it was exactly what we needed! Steven threw some suggestions out there as well, so he was able to mix his ideas with ours. He is very personable and read us well through our conversations. The music flowed flawlessly and even when there was a song I didn't like, he quickly mixed it into a new song and you would have never had known. He read the room well which gave us a lot of confidence. Steven was a great MC for the night as well, moving the wedding right along. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and it made our wedding all the more better! Thank you Steven for throwing a great party!!
Steven from Sound Extreme was so wonderful. We had a phone call a couple of days before the wedding, and he took every request that I had a went off of it for a perfect dance floor...

te the perfect flow throughout the reception. Even though our father/daughter and mother/son songs seemed to accidentally get switched (which both worked for us and is funny to look back on now), we absolutely loved working with him and would work with Sound Extreme again. The only feedback I received was that at the end of the night, while the venue & planner were trying to give direction for the sparkler exit, the music just abruptly stopped so, I think we probably could have just turned down the music to serve as background music. I think some guests only noticed because they were having such an awesome time! Steven was the BEST!!!!
Sandy did an amazing job MCing our wedding ceremony and reception! We received compliments from several guests saying that the music was on point for the entire evening. Sandy is v...
ery personable and his positive energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Once the dancing music started, the dance floor never emptied until the end of the night.
Sandy was also easy to work with. He was happy to incorporate our music preferences into the wedding ceremony and reception. We wanted an eclectic mix of older songs, non-english music, and modern songs. Sandy was able to incorporate these very different genres together flawlessly. We also wanted to incorporate games into the reception which Sandy helped lead and explain to the guests.
Overall, we were extremely happy with Sandy and Sound Extreme Entertainment and would recommend them to anyone looking for an MC for wedding ceremony and/or wedding reception in the Asheville area.
Sandy with Sound Extreme was such a great choice for a DJ! He did a great job keeping the dance party going! We never felt as though he was just playing a play list. He listened to...
the crowd and felt out what songs would go over well. We hardly had any down time on the dance floor. He was interactive and took requests from us and the guests! He did a great job with wedding related announcements and made the night flow well. We would highly recommend Sandy with Sound Extreme for any wedding in the Asheville area!
Sandy was our DJ back in July for our wedding in Brevard. He did a fantastic job! We had a few minor hiccups but he rolled with it and the night was a blast! We couldn’t have asked...

ure our date, and recommended Travis for our wedding. He did an amazing job, not only with the music and mcing, but also handling a few last minute changes that occurred due to the weather. He was on point with his music selections, and had everybody dancing pretty much till the exit. They did an amazing job!
We had the honor of working with DJ Steve Harris for our wedding. Steve was so wonderful to have, he took every song we asked for and weaved it into the perfect atmosphere! He was ...
so lovely and accommodating, even being so helpful to work with us on a couple last minute song changes. He had a great fun yet always professional presence and he took every hitch and last-minute request (sorry we were a bit of a mess!) in stride. Having a fantastic DJ can make a huge difference and I can confidently say that we were blessed to have Steve for our wedding. Thank you, Steve, for being amazing and making it happen!

ore the wedding. My husband & I have very different taste in music but Steven was able to bring everything together seamlessly. Thank you Steven!!
We booked Sound Extreme through our venue (Crest Center), and were pleased with our experience with Sandy (DJ Sandman). He played from the song list we provided and listened to our...
request that certain genres not be played. We didn't want any games, cheesy songs, or too much DJ presence, and he accommodated this request very well. He even was able to find an obscure German children's song we had requested!
The last song was a little messed up (but he played the right song in the end!) and maybe could have done a little better at reading the mood of the dance floor (and what songs got people dancing), but overall we and our guests had a great time, and we would recommend Sound Extreme and DJ Sandman!
Steven was our DJ and he was absolutely incredible and made our wedding day so unbelievably memorable! We hired Sound Extreme through using the Crest Center Pavilion venue and WOW ...
they did not disappoint! We gave him a list of songs to give him ideas of our vibe, and he took our vision and made it a reality. The most compliments we've gotten have been about how amazing the music was!! If I could give him 10/5 stars, I would! I cannot say enough positive things! Highly recommend!

was there a song choice that killed the vibe. We had a BLAST on our wedding day and owe that to Travis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ TRAVIS BIZZELL. Very Professional. All Music. No Frills.
Sandy is definitely the man. From the very first time he made contact with me, it was a positive experience. He was the DJ for our wedding a couple weeks ago at Sawyer Family Farms...
tead and had a big part in how much FUN our reception turned out to be. I (the bride) had a difficult time leaving the dance floor due to the fact that the music was so good and flowed so well. Thanks for a wonderful time, DJ Sandman!
We had DJ Sandman (Sandy) as our DJand he was fantastic! He had a great mix and was able to read the crowd really well. He was exactly what we had hoped for!

r booking the owner's son. He is only 12, but he brought the house down. He was unbelievable! We also had their band, Crocodile Smile, play and they were incredible. People were limping the next day from dancing so much.
Sound Extreme made booking and planning an easy. They are professional and a pleasure to work with. Our DJ played all the music we requested and everyone had a great time.

usic throughout the entire wedding, he was fun and upbeat! For the Father/ Daughter dance that I danced to with my husband because my father is no longer with us, we had a video of pictures of my father and I playing with the song and he pulled it off and it was better than I could of hoped for! I really appreciate Steven and his skill. Thank you so very much you are the best!!!
We used Sound Extreme for our Asheville, NC wedding and hit the jackpot when we got DJ Sandman for our event. He was very personable, professional, and responsive.

guests said he was one of the best wedding DJ's they've ever experienced. He was very flexible and easy to work with - even when I was texting him the day prior asking for schedule changes.
He played the perfect mix of music and honored all of our schedules and requests.
I would absolutely recommend sound extreme, they were very reasonable price wise and fantastic to work with - and if you're able to request a DJ ask for Sandman!
We had Billy James as our DJ and he was awesome! I ended up doing online RSVPs for our wedding and had a "what song(s) will get you dancing" question for them to answer. Billy chos...
e a great selection from my guests requests and even accommodated a special request from myself for the father/daughter dance. We did a sweet song and then went into a choreographed dance to a bunch of popular dance songs. I wanted people to actually think the song messed up (record skips just aren't believable people!) So I edited the song to skip and then play the windows logoff sound - and asked billy to play it up to make people think his equipment was really malfunctioning. He played it PERFECTLY! People even started to clap because they thought that was the end. Then we came in with our surprise dance and it was a huge hit! Billy made sure to check in with me to make sure I was happy with everything and did all he could to make sure everyone was having a good time! I would highly recommend Billy and Sound Extreme!
We had DJ Sandman (Sandy) do the music for our wedding reception. He did a fantastic job and we had so many compliments throughout the evening on what a great DJ he was. He checked...
in with me throughout the evening to be sure everything was going the way I wanted. Before hand I gave him an idea of what we wanted to hear, he executed this list perfectly and as the evening went on did a great job at reading the crowd and kept the small party out on the dance floor. He was very professional and we spoke several times by phone/e-mail to go over things. I was unsure about my first dance&father/daughter dance song, I changed my mind on these last minute and he played them out perfectly without any problems. He truly made our wedding a night to remember, I would recommend DJ Sandman & Sound Extreme to anyone who is looking for an affordable, fun, and professional DJ!
Our DJ, Chris, was exactly what we wanted. He was easy to communicate with before and during the reception, and performed very well as both a DJ and master of ceremonies. He perf...
ormed all the songs on our list (which was very easy to create on the Sound Extreme website), and he was never a distraction in any way.
Also--and hopefully this won't apply to you--we should mention that we had a booked a DJ with another company (DJ G Syde from Atlanta) who cancelled on us with about three weeks left before the wedding. Sound Extreme came to the rescue and worked with us to ensure that we had a great experience. We'll always be grateful for that.
Our DJ was the best, Steven was amazing! We had American music, reggae, Bosnian music and Steven delivered. We even asked him to play songs that were not on the list and to change ...
stuff up last minute. It started raining and we originally setup the dance floor on the patio, Steven was quick to setup inside the Harmony Hall... The best man is a DJ and he loved the transitions that Steven did between different songs. I am so happy that Steven was our DJ, best time ever! Thank you sound extreme and of course Steven you rock!
