In such a short period of time planning my wedding (5.5-6 months) and looking for the right venue and DJ/MC we were lucky to find our venue and get it during the month we wanted. T...
he venue gave me recommendations to DJs and MC and I was so happy after getting off the phone with Fred because he was really helpful and answered any questions I had. He listened and also asked questions about what my vision was. I spoke to other DJs and I was most comfortable with them! Although Fred was not available to DJ, his team was just as great ! DJ Billy B was absolutely kind and helpful! I sent him a list of songs and he put it together. I even messaged him the night before the wedding and everything came together ! Thank you Sound Garden Productions for making our wedding so special and fun !
If you are looking for a DJ/MC . . . look no further! Sound Garden Productions is the icing on the cake for your event. We hired Fred on a recommendation from a friend and it was o...
ne of the best decisions we made when planning our daughter's wedding. He worked with us as we went step by step to plan the ceremony and reception music, gave us suggestions and took the lead on the day of the wedding. We were able to enjoy the day worry free as Fred ran the show! So professional, so personable and he was the reason our family and friends had so much fun singing, dancing and celebrating. Thank you, Sound Garden Productions . . . amazing job!
Fred was AMAZING. I recommend him for any wedding. Super fun and personable, great music selections kept the party going.
My wedding was about 8 months ago. Fred never called to check how things went with his backup DJ and I’m still fuming so here I am writing a review. We were excited to book Fred ...
because our venue spoke highly of him. They said that he’s a little pricier than others but worth it. Fred ended up having a family emergency (this happens, we were never upset about this) and sent his “best guy” Geo in his place. I did inquire as to the premium that we had paid specifically for Fred and he brushed off our concerns saying that we had already received a “discounted rate”. Prior to the wedding I’d filled out the digital playlist worksheet with my first dance song, dance music requests, etc. and had separate phone conversations with both Fred and Geo to walk through it. Both times I talked about how I wanted to skip ahead 20 seconds or so into the first dance song (Shania Twain “you’re still the one”) to skip the part where she’s talking and they both said that’s standard because they get that song a lot. The day of, I walked through my vision for the grand entrance with Geo (was not complicated) and he said indicated that he understood. Basically i just wanted him to play the song and my wedding party was going to form a dance line before we walked out. Well, he didn’t understand and completely ruined it and it was the most awkward part of the wedding…. Until right after that when he played the WRONG first dance song. He played a different Shania Twain song, and when I told him that wasn’t the correct song and he had the audacity to tell me the I was wrong because “that’s what I told him”. I went back and double checked my digital worksheet afterwards and he was very much mistaken. Now every time I hear my real first dance song on the radio I get upset because he’s ruined it for us. All of the MC moments were awkward because he would stop the music to talk (rather than turning it down) and there was a long awkward pause before he started the music again- for example, he stopped the music to invite single ladies to the floor for the bouquet toss, waited for them to all get there before playing the music and everyone was just standing around. He did this awkward silence thing at every single MC moment from the grand entrance on. He didn’t consider the request list at all during dancing, only requests made in person, and did not play 1 single slow dance song. On the day of I never expressed my absolute fury at this man (aside from my visible agitation at the first dance song) because I needed him to keep the party going- you’re kind of at their mercy. But in the end I feel that I was duped, did not get what I paid for, and am left with some bad memories due to this DJ and no apology regarding the very obvious mistakes.
We also hired our photo booth through them and I had a lot of trouble communicating with Michelle (non-responsive) until I told Fred and he stepped in to facilitate.
What can we possibly say about Fred? We knew immediately when we met him at the mission inn expo he was our DJ. Two days later California shut down for the pandemic. Fred mainta...
ined a positive attitude the whole way through. He let us change our date without any problems, and I don’t mind saying some of our vendors gave us problems. We were out of towners but he met with us via zoom. His planning system is top notch, you can put in all your wants and wishes. But he doesn’t stop there. He takes such a personal touch with his couples. He made our wedding so perfect. I cannot recommend fred highly enough. Our wedding would not have been what it was without him. That’s the truth.
Fred DJ'd my twins wedding and mine. FANTASTIC DJ. Has great energy, a good DJing voice (yes, that's important), and really tied the whole event together.

ding reception mood upbeat and lively. He was also open to some custom requests for the Grand entrance music for each of our wedding party. We would definitely recommend him for your wedding or special event.

Dj fred was amazing! The lighting and music selection was great! He really helped the party continue to the very end and kept the crowd engaged!

d and his team are HANDS down the best and they went above and beyond to help make our wedding just perfect. We had a longer engagement and found Fred early on in our wedding planning. From the moment we met him, we knew that he and his team would help us make our wedding magical and the best party ever. Fred was extremely communicative and was always available via phone/facetime & email (we live in a different state) to talk and answer any questions we had. He was very clear about his pricing and is very fair. There were no hidden fees of any nature. He did our sound for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and everything was fantastic. Fred has a custom specialized online portal where my wife and I went through and added songs that he has in his database to a “must play” list, “do not play” list, a “maybe if we have time” list, and an area to add our own specially requested songs. Picking our music couldn’t have been more fun or easy! There’s also an area in the portal to list out the sequence of events which made planning the timing of the reception super easy. The reception couldn’t have gone any better-largely thanks to Fred!!!! Not only did he get our guests super pumped up as the bridal party and brides walked in for our grand entrance, he also had the most incredible way to get all of our guests on the dance floor. It’ll be a part of the reception we’ll never forget because it was so special and fun. Dj Fred’s Emcee skills were amazing too-his personality is super warm, fun, and inviting and he definitely knows how to run an event. All of our reception events went perfectly and were timed out just great because of him. The music was ON POINT all night long and our dance floor was never empty once. Overall, Fred and his team were just fantastic, trustworthy, and wonderful to work with and I hope that everyone is as lucky as we were to work with him!

ant played. Hes a great mc and had my wedding right on point with the schedule with everything. He even came on the dance floor to wobble with us! i'll never forget and would recommend him anytime. Parties, weddings anything you need you will not be disappointed. Thank you Sound Garden!
We were very impressed with DJ Fred from start to finish preparing for and executing our wedding! We chatted for 30 minutes on facebook videochat about a year out, a month out, and...
a week out, and everything turned out perfectly.
Fred uses a nifty industry website allowing one to put in Must Play, Should Play, and Don't Play songs. He also volunteered to pay for a limited number of songs not in his library.
On the day of our Wedding, Fred came dressed very suave and ready to entertain. He provided the microphone for the ceremony. At his recommendation, we left the music for the cocktail hour and dinner up to him, and it was all very tasteful and enjoyable. He did a great job with choices for dance sets as well. He cut our First Dance song right where we designated, and he cut our Father Daughter and Mother Son dances when we nodded to him, as planned. His mic skills are second to none.
DJ Fred is basically part of the family now! He performed at my brother’s wedding and did such an amazing job that we had to have him for ours! Everyone raved at both weddings abou...
t how great the DJ was. He kept the dance floor full all night and also paced out the evening perfectly. My cousin is getting married in November and guess who they booked as their DJ? You guessed it, Fred!!! Seriously amazing! Thanks Fred!

We would definitely recommend Sound Garden Productions!
Fred was absolutely fantastic!!! Everyone at the wedding still mention how wonderful he was. He was so genuine and likable that all our guests loved him. Fred kept us on schedule, ...
made sure everyone was dancing and had fun - including my conservative family. He also gave us wonderful uplighting and ensured our ceremony music was just perfect and emotional. He was also happy to work with us on foreign music. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or use him again for future events.

orm which allowed us access to his database and the opportunity to create our own play list. I can't say enough about Fred (i.e. Sound Garden Productions) and the amazing job he did. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

t how awesome our playlist was.
Their online system made selecting music for our wedding customizable, and an engaging experience for my husband and I. Anything to eliminate stress on wedding day is a BIG deal, and I felt confident that Sound Garden had things under control.
Fred is awesome! We found Fred on the wedding venue’s vendor list, and we don’t think that we could have chosen a better DJ. We planned our wedding from Wisconsin, and Fred made th...
e process very easy for us. We needed a bilingual DJ, and it turns out that he works with a bilingual MC, so it was perfect. We gave him a list of songs that we wanted to play at the wedding (he has a website where you can do this) and he did a really good job at choosing other songs that we really liked. He excelled at understanding our music taste. He was also able to provide music for our ceremony, which was very convenient for us.
Fred is very friendly and energetic, and he even got onto the dance floor to teach us some group dancing. It was awesome! We rented the uplights and we loved them, they made the reception venue look so much nicer.
Thank you so much for everything Fred. We had a great time, and it would have not been the same without you.
Fred and Sound Garden Productions were first class from start to finish! Fred was better than advertised and it’s obvious he truly loves what he does. Fred was amazing in supportin...
g my wife and me throughout the process of planning the wedding and provided much appreciated knowledge and advice. I originally chose Fred and Sound Garden because he did more than play music, he interacted with our families and ensured the party was live the whole time. Fred and his assistant kept us excited, having fun and most importantly on schedule. If you are looking for more than just a DJ and want someone who shows he genuinely cares about your wedding and providing you exactly the day you are looking for than Fred and Sound Garden Productions are the obvious choice.
Thank you again Fred for everything!
FRED and the sound production team was absolutely AMAZING! Will be recommending him to all of our family and friends.
Sound Garden Productions was one of the vendor options given to us by our wedding venue. We couldn't be more happy with our decision. The DJ/Fred even gave us the option to create ...
our own playlist of specific songs that we wanted to play. Fred didn't just play our songs --- he transformed them into something magical by = combined Bollywood/latin/pop/hip-hop/soul in a smooth manner. Not only was Fred a fantastic DJ but also an amazing MC --- who had all of our guests on the dance floor the entire night.
Fred was professional and fun to talk to through the entire wedding planning process. By being very organized and always replying to our messages quickly, Fred went above and beyond to make our dreams come true.
Thank you, Fred, and keep up the good work
I met Fred through my best friend and after one meeting knew that he was the one! He makes himself available for phone calls and meetings at anytime, and will sit for hours if that...
's what I takes. He made the process of choosing music easy (and I was completely lost!). When it came to the reception, he was able to read the crowd and man can he throw a party! We added his photo booth at the last minute and it was a complete hit. There were more props than we knew what to do with. I HIGHLY recommend Sound Garden Productions if you want to dance the night away, like we did!
Fred and all of Sound Garden Productions deserves to be #1 !! Hands down! He DJ'd our December wedding along with DJ Ann and it was absolutely amazing! The party never stopped and ...
I never knew our family would dance like they did... wonderful! Fred and Ann kept the reception going with their efficiency and great charismatic nature! 100% conga line as well - who does that?! Fred and Ann, we couldn't have asked for better DJs for our wedding celebration and will cherish the memories forever - thank you so much! We will definitely ask you guys to be a part of our future events and celebrations and I will highly recommend you guys to anyone having a celebration!!

re the wedding we face timed a couple times to go over our music preferences and I was always impressed with Fred's positive and dedicated demeanor from the very beginner. We talked to a lot of djs before deciding who to go with and Fred really stood out from everyone. He really MADE the reception what it was, by getting everybody dancing and having fun. He moved through the wedding timeline and events with ease and perfection. He was actually my favorite wedding vendor of them all, he did not cause me one ounce of stress! He knows the business like the back of his hand and there's no reason not to have full confidence in him and his company.

g last minute with details. But, DJ Fred was so cool about it and took over in areas where I wanted him to. Folks, he knows what to do! He fulfilled all of our request and was a delightful MC and DJ for the evening. His setup with ambiance lighting and mic for speeches was on point. We did an Indian wedding, so feel free to use this as a recommendation that he is great in this space too! A lot of people said many great things about DJ Fred throughout the wedding reception and the days following the wedding. I cannot thank you enough for knowing exactly what to do and adding that extra touch of magic to the evening. Thanks again, Sumit and Carrie

t we wanted. We got tons of compliments on how good the music was and everyone was dancing un until the last song.
We also had the Sound Garden Productions team do a photo booth at our wedding that was used all night. Everyone had a fun time using the props and snapping different shots.
I would defiantly recommend this DJ and photo booth to anyone planning a wedding. We will be using them again next time we need a DJ or photo booth for a party!

Ann and Andrew knew exactly what music to play to keep the party going on the dance floor and how to get all of my guests out of their seats!!! Fred and his DJ's come highly recommended! The timeliness and professionalism they exhibit and handle themselves with is all I could have asked for during such a busy and overwhelming planning period in my life. I love them!

m. The weather threw us a curveball on the day of the wedding but Fred and his staff were on top of it and made everything work. He knew our vision from the start and delivered exactly what we wanted and needed to make our wedding perfect. We used his photobooth too, which was a huge hit and also much cheaper than renting from another company. We would recommend Soundgarden to anyone!

hen we met up with Fred we knew we HAD to have him as our wedding DJ. We had chosen our photographers first which was Imagery Concepts and they have both worked together at our venue, Moneteleone Meadows. We knew we wanted the "A Team" to make this the best wedding ever! He is very upbeat and fun and made this a great experience. He has his own website to where you can upload your choices of music ANYTIME you want and you can even specify when you want the music to played, for example: bouquet toss, cocktail hour, first dance, etc. He also has playlists of examples to get your mind going on choosing wedding songs. When my husband and I started thinking of songs we were alittle challenged lol. We had a very small list of songs we HAD to have to start, but once we met with Fred on our final meeting before the wedding, it all came together and we had a FULL playlist of songs for every special moment for our big day! He also allows you to contact him with any questions at ANY time. My husband and I planned our own wedding so anything that's easy was a blessing because there are so many "to-dos" and planning to be done. We were even allowed to make payments which made it ALOT easier for us. He is so fun and lively and you can tell he takes pride and enjoys the work he does to make your day a blast. He was able to read what the guests wanted during the dancing portion of our reception. The guests did not leave the dance floor and wanted more! Everyone loved him! We had a few choices of what we wanted and he knew how to fill in the rest! He is also able to put a list together of "what not to play" in case you have some concerns with certain songs, for example, anything vulgar or maybe certain dance songs like the funky chicken lol. He does take requests from guests, which I loved because my main goal was for everyone to have FUN! He will be there for the ceremony and reception and he was able to announce everything smoothly for my reception. Everyone knew when everything was happening and it all went perfect. He does offer extras such as special lighting for the dance floor and also a photo booth. He even let us try it out when we first met up with him! He is very professional and fun and guests to this day still say how FUN and awesome the wedding was. I do believe an excellent DJ makes the wedding fun or a dud. He definitely made it unforgettable and I recommend his company to ALL my friends who are getting married. If we can pop out any children anytime soon he WILL be my daughter and or sons wedding DJ; so don't retire Fred! Sound Garden Productions Thank you!
DJ Fred is the best I work in the wedding industry and met a lot of DJs worked a lot of parties and if you want the best wedding ever you need the best DJ .
From the very beginning Fred was very friendly and welcoming. We met him at the Eagle Glen Golf Club open house and we knew right away he would be a perfect fit for our wedding. I ...
love the fact that you can customize what songs you want and don't want through his website. Everytime I would think of a song I wanted, I went online and just put it on the list.
The day of the wedding it starting raining and had to move our ceremony inside. Fred had extra uplights and placed them along the room and made it look beautiful. He made sure everything went smoothly, along with the great staff from eagle glen.
I couldn't of asked for a better reception! Fred was such a great MC and made sure everything went according to schedule. He asked everyone to go on the dance floor for a picture and then after the picture he turned on the music. It was the best way to get everyone dancing! He did an amazing job during the money dance, kept it very formal and made sure everyone had enough time to go up and dance with us. And then the party started! He played a great variety of music and had us all dancing non stop. The dance floor was never empty or awkward from weird music (we all know sometimes that happens). We danced til the very end and it was amazing!
Every time my family talks about my wedding they ALWAYS bring up the amazing food and the amazing DJ! It was the best day of my life so far! I HIGHLY recommend him. Thank you Fred!
Fred was an amazing vendor to have at our wedding... Not only was he on top of his game he also made it known that he was there for us and anything we needed, he was there to keep ...

If you're looking for peace of mind, look no further. He will make it his business to ensure a memorable event for all.

ngs prior to our wedding were helpful and Fred assisted us with the online DJ system. We were able to organize the ceremony, music, and fill in every detail with Fred's help.
The day of the wedding, Fred was professional and personal, the perfect mix of a talented DJ who can read the crowd's energy while also being a great MC during interludes such as the garter toss, bouquet, etc. Fred got everyone up dancing and the party continued all night! We wanted a dancing wedding and that's exactly what we got with Fred.
Fred set up a projector with our PowerPoint of pictures that we looped all night. He also recommended amber uplights and it made our venue look extremely classy.
All in all, Fred is a great DJ and MC who provides great customer service, and all at a great price to boot! Go with Fred, you will not regret it!
