Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band played for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Party at The Glen Manor. They were outstanding! Such musical talent and beautiful voices. Nancy really knows how to "read a crowd", young and old, and kept everyone dancing all night long. We couldn't have had more fun!

Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band were amazing at our wedding. They sounded fantastic with all genres of music. They got our guests up and dancing. I cannot recommend them enough!

Best wedding band in RI! We were so happy they were available to play at our wedding. I would recommend BTB to anyone as they have a wide variety of music that will accommodate all ages and genres.

The Black Tie Band was hands down the best wedding band I have ever seen/heard at a wedding. They played great songs, have a huge playlist and accommodated any requests we had. If you hire them for a wedding or event, you will 100% not be disappointed. Nancy and the BTB had everyone at our wedding dancing until the very end of the reception and I heard from many guests that they didn't want to leave because they wanted to keep dancing. They were simply amazing.

We hired Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band to play at my first daughter's wedding in Bristol, RI in August 2014, and it was the best decision we ever made!!! Nancy has a beautiful voice; in fact, many of our guests told us she sounds like the original singer, and the musicians are as talented as well. Nancy is also talented and knowledgeable in reading the audience, and she knows what music to play that appeals to all generations. Our guests, like most wedding guests, I assume, range in age from 20's all the way to the 80's. And ALL OF OUR GUESTS danced all night long!!! The tables were empty all night because everyone was on the dance floor. So when our second daughter got engaged, we immediately hired Nancy and the BTB to play at her wedding, which was September 24, 2016, in the Berkshires. And once again, we were not disappointed. Nancy chose a selection of songs that appealed to everyone at the wedding, and the dance floor was packed all night. Even my 85-year old mother danced! At the end, our guests were chanting "one more song". No one wanted to leave the reception, and this was at midnight! I have been to weddings where the band played songs that appealed only to the younger generation, and I have noticed that the 50 and 60 somethings either sat at their tables all night or left early. I guarantee this won't happen if you hire Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band.

This band MADE our wedding! We wanted to have everyone on the dance floor all night and that's exactly what we got! Their playlist is extensive and they played all the genres and songs we asked for. Nancy is a pleasure to work with and all communication was excellent throughout the process. Five stars and two dancing shoes!

They were so great! Nancy was very friendly and was very helpful throughout the whole process. They took lots of song requests prior to the wedding. Live music is awesome at a wedding and this band really got the crowd dancing with all of their music! They play a huge variety as well!

Nancy Paloino and The Black Tie Band are absolutely the best! I first contacted Nancy on a week night around 9:30 PM, not expecting to hear back until the day after. Nancy immediately responded via email and said she was available to chat that night. From day one, I was blown away. Nancy has the sweetest demeanor and is extremely professional. She’s so easy to get along with and worked with us so that we felt comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. Nancy understood that we were 7 hours away and was flexible in the way she conducted arranging the contracts. We made a special trip to go and see the band in Warwick and were blown away. The band had EVERYONE up and dancing the entire night. The audience was definitely an older crowd and literally everyone was so pumped to hear them play and to party the whole night. We knew as soon as they started playing that they just HAD to be our band. Nancy made a specific point to come up and say hi to us that night- proving that she always goes above and beyond. After we booked, we saw them play again at Easton’s beach one night and everyone who came with us agreed that they were phenomenal. Again, they had EVERYONE up and dancing. It was so fun! Nancy chatted with us several times and helped make recommendations for songs. We walked down the aisle to acoustic guitar and vocals of The Beatles “I Will” and I still get chills thinking about it. It was absolutely perfect! Nancy also set up a microphone outside for us to use during the ceremony. Nancy did a great job keeping things moving during the day and even took special requests from our guests. Absolutely everyone commented on how wonderful they sounded, how they kept the party going, and how nice and friendly the entire band was. From the time they played “Sweet Caroline” and had my 92 year-old Great Aunt up on the dance floor, to the last song “500 Miles” everyone was up and having an absolute blast! I’m so grateful for Nancy and all members of The Black Tie Band and will absolutely continue to see them whenever I can 

We love Nancy and the Band, they helped make our wedding day even greater!! There is no comparison to Nancy and the Band Vs a DJ, Nancy and the boys made our night soooo much FUN...people still talk about it, 18 yrs later!!! Can't wait to see them again!!!

The BTB was absolutely amazing at our wedding ceremony and reception. Our schedule moved around on us a little bit but Nancy and the rest of the band just adapted on the fly and made the night absolutely perfect from a musical point of view. I had so many people telling me that the band was incredible all night long and that it really helped to make the night so much fun. Modern songs, old classics, slow music and high energy rock ballads... they can do it all. I would HIGHLY recommend the BTB to anyone in the New England area looking for a band

We have used Nancy Paolino and The Black tie band for many Charity events my wife and I have organized and she is the 'best'! However we just asked Nancy to do our daughter, Megan and her new Husband Michael's wedding and it was better than anyone could have expected!! She truly is in our opinion the best Wedding band around. She followed our program right to the minute and made things seem like they were practised for a long time. She played all the somgs we picked. THe band is truly gifted in talent and so is Nancy. She has a voice like an Angel. I would hire her again in a minute for any function that requires music. We had our wedding last weekend and Nancy and the Black tie band were absolutely phenomenal. They were the highlight to our wedding. Everyone was up on the dance floor all night! She knew exactly what to play and got everyone excited. She appeals to all age groups. By far the best band around, you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Nancy and the black tie band was the BEST part of our wedding! She took time to meet with us before and got an idea about who we were and what we wanted for our day. And they did not disappoint! So many people complimented us on the band and said they made the whole party. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

The band will work with you on your playlist and song choices in detail. On the wedding night, we received endless compliments on the music. The band is professional, personable, and the perfect choice!

Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band played at our wedding several years ago and our guests still talk about much they loved the music. The guests were on the dance floor all evening! It is evident that the entire band loves what they do. Their enthusiasm was infectious and my guests loved the energy. Throughout the planning stages Nancy made herself anytime I had a question. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of selecting Nancy Paolino and her band to play at our wedding reception at Linden Place in August 2014. The night was unforgettable and her team deserves a lot of the credit!! We knew from the moment we first saw her perform at a restaurant in Providence that she would bring the energy and talent we were looking for - and at a great price, especially when compared to bands from the Boston area. Nancy remained in regular touch during the preparation phase and as we got closer to the big day she worked with us to build a song list that matched our musical style. She gladly provided guidance based on the experience she has built up over the years, and in the end we ended up with a great playlist that appealed to our inter-generational guests - a good mix of modern hits and the classics. The day of the wedding, Nancy and her team met and exceeded our expectations. Countless guests told us that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard :) Best of all, Nancy's voice sounds like the original singers, & EVERYONE danced all night along, from the youngest to the oldest. Nancy & the Black Tie Band are truly amazing! Music is a huge part of a great wedding do you & your guest a favor and hire them! They are well worth the money. Nancy will work with you learn new songs for you and caiter to your taste of music. My wedding was amazing and so is this band.

Nancy and the BTB played my sister in law's wedding and were outstanding. So outstanding that when we got engaged, the very first thing we did was get in touch with Nancy to find out the Band's availability, and ended up choosing our date based on their schedule. They are that good. We've been married now over a year and still hear from friends and family that "our band" was the very best they've ever heard. They absolutely brought down the house - our multigenerational guests were dancing from the first note til the last. Everyone had such a great time that we had to have them make an announcement to encourage our guests to actually sit down and eat! Nancy could not be easier to work with. We were looking for a live band for our July wedding, and we struck gold with Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band! If your looking for a band for your wedding, look no further! Being new residents in Rhode Island, we took to the internet to begin our search. Once we heard the groups tracks and saw video on their website, we knew we wanted to see them perform. We booked them soon after seeing them and Nancy made the entire process easy and fun. Her attention to detail, and her timely communications through every step was so very helpful and wonderful. She met with us personally, and validated what we already sensed...that we were in expert, caring hands...and we booked the best band. Our guests are STILL raving about our wedding and how much fun they had dancing the night away. We only had 60 guests, but it might as well have been 500, because the dancing began after our first dance and it didn't end until the reception was over. "Where did you find this band?" "This band is fantastic!" Everyone, and I mean every single guest, remarked about how wonderful they were. We wanted a fun and intimate affair. What we got was a MOST MEMORABLE fun and intimate affair that included all of our favorite songs, every guest singing along, and young and old dancing all night! Yes, my 89 year old Aunt dancing the night away. How wonderful is that? Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band were the heart and soul of our wedding. All of the guests had a blast at our wedding and they were the key. My best friend told me the following day that his “feet needed to be amputated” from dancing so much because every time he went to take a rest another great song would come on. We first went to listen to them up at Camile’s restaurant (Federal Hill) because the drummer, Vinny Pagano, is a close family friend and one of the best drummers east of the Mississippi IMO. We heard them play, and booked them that week. Basics: We hired the band for 4 hours, added a 5th hour, added an extra band member (John LeClaire on sax) and booked the pianist for our cocktail hour. Worth. Every. Penny. Pre-Wedding: I communicated back and forth with Nancy for months and months leading up to the wedding. I have an anxious, indecisive and overall neurotic personality and peppered her with a lot of questions. She couldn’t have been more awesome to deal with. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever done business with and assured me repeatedly to ask her anything, no matter how stupid I thought it was. She was incredibly responsive, professional and gave great input which I valued (no doubt stemming from her years of experience). I even asked if I could change our first dance song 2 weeks prior and she graciously agreed without batting an eye. THEN during our wedding, she went ahead and sang BOTH our original request and our new request. Now I feel like we have two special songs. Wedding: Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Seeing them play at Camille’s turned out to be only a small taste of what we were in for as they were slightly more understated to adhere to the restaurant’s atmosphere. We had high expectations but they wow-ed us completely. We danced our hearts out. The dance floor was on fire the entire night. There was a dance circle with guests taking turns in the middle PRE-dinner. PRE-DINNER!! A few more dance circle’s, several dance-offs and two conga lines later and guests were exhausted, happy and raving about "the band" for days to come. My husband will still look at me from time to time and go “BUT HOW ABOUT THAT BAND, HUH!?!?” In Conclusion: They are amazing, SO talented, engaging and a PLEASURE to deal with. If you want your wedding to rock book them - I promise, you will not be sorry.

There are not enough good words in my vocabulary to say how fabulous Nancy and the band were at my daughters wedding last weekend. The dance floor was packed from the first song through the last. Her ability as an emcee for the event was also exceptional. They played every song we requested (and they were not usual wedding songs - everything from Frank Sinatra to Patsy Cline and everything in between). The Ballroom dancers at the reception as well as everyone else were dancing and happy. We have gotten comments from friends and family that it was the best wedding ever! Thank you Nancy! You're the best! If you can get Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band for your reception - do it! You will not be disappointed. Worth ever penny.

Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band made our day come alive with their music. Through the whole planning process Nancy was awesome to work with and very helpful and insightful with any and all questions. She accommodated above and beyond on playing all of the music we asked her to play. Her and her band got the party started during cocktail hour and really got everyone out of their seats and dancing during the reception. They have and infectious energy and really pulled the whole party together. They are fabulous at what they do and I hope to be able to use them at future family events!

Hiring Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. From the moment we heard them, we knew we wanted them to play at our wedding. They are able to play such a variety of music, and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. They had everyone of all ages on the dance floor, even family members and friends that I had never seen dance before. Nancy was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole planning process, as she returned our emails very promptly, and always in a professional, friendly manner. Our guests still talk about how great our band was. If you are looking to hire a band , I would definitely recommend checking of Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band.

Nancy palomino and the black tie band played our wedding in July. They were absolutely awesome and played a wide variety of great songs. They took into account everything we asked for and did a great job. People danced all night long. The next morning after the wedding so many of our guests were asking about who that great band was. My sisters have also used them and gave them 5 stars as well. You will not be let down!!!!

Excellent band! We had mixed generations at the wedding (as most do) and the Black Tie Band was perfect! They had a wide variety of songs and played extremely well. I recommend them for any event!

You won't regret hiring them! Everyone was dancing the entire night, and we had such a great time. One guest told me that he "wouldn't have picked a single song differently the entire night." Nancy was great to work with leading up to the event as well. I highly recommend them!

Like everyone else has said, Nancy Paolino & the BTB are awesome! They are great at reading a room and choosing perfect songs for the crowd. They had friends of ours dancing who I’ve never seen dancing at any event before. We’re so happy we paid for a band instead of cheaping out with a DJ; it was well worth the cost.

Nancy is so great to work with. She took the time to meet with us a few weeks before our wedding to get to know us and what we wanted. She and her band sounded amazing and kept the party going. She even had my mother crying from playing my parent’s wedding song! The Black Tie band knows a wide range of music, and if they don’t know something, they will learn it for you. We loved them, and so did everyone at our wedding.

Nancy and The Black Tie Band kept everyone dancing all night long. They played such a wide range of artists and types of music. Nancy can sing anything--she does an amazing Michael Jackson!

Words can't even describe how amazing the band is! This band honestly made our wedding! From the pre-planning to the actual wedding day, they were awesome! They got the crowd dancing and everyone commented on how they made the wedding. They band even learned many songs that we requested just for our wedding. I HIGHLY recommend having them play on your wedding day!

Nancy and her Band can get everyone from the kids to grandma on the dance floor and can/will play anything.

Nancy and the crew were absolutely wonderful. We received tons of compliments on the music. Not only are they truly talented musicians, but know how to read the crowd perfectly.
