I was a little nervous since I wasn’t sure who was going to be our photographer and videographer at first but WOW. Sound originals really delivered! Taylor our photographer was absolutely amazing and a joy to work with. Our team arrived very prompt. Our video turned out fantastic we have received so many compliments from friends and family. Amazing, absolutely amazing from start to finish! Our team of Anna, Jennifer, and Matt were, if you didn't catch on, amazing; not only were the few preview shots they showed us complete perfection, but they were also able to handle my 3 brothers with grace. We are talking about guys with less tact than drunk cavemen when they are together, it takes a master class of patience to deal with. They somehow were able to find the most stunning poses and locations around the venue to create breathtaking shots. We got our wedding video before photos, and it made us so excited for the photos because the video turned out so good! The quality of their work is stellar both capturing the moment and editing of the photos and video.

We used Sound Originals for our wedding last month and everyone loves the pictures! Our photographer Took time for the special pictures of just my husband and I as well as the group photos with all the guests. Many candid moments during dancing and chats with guests captured all the special moments throughout the day! Overall it was a good experience and we are so excited share all our gorgeous pics! We highly recommend sound originals!

Communication throughout the process was clear and timely, the photographer arrived on time and helped us actually stay on schedule during our special day, all with a smile! They made sure to capture all the key moments as well as the little precious candid moments. Our pictures were given to us within a few weeks and we were very satisfied with the quality- loved getting to see all that they captured and reliving our wedding through the photos!

We reviewed several photo/video teams in our area before selecting sound originals for our wedding this year. We found that having one team to do both the photos and videos made things so seamless and guaranteed that the products would have the same vibe. Our photographer took so many photos that were perfectly edited, the price was reasonable, and we love the finished results!

Jackson was super nice and easy to get along with. I feel like he worked well with our photographer as well, which was great. He also made sure to get our first dance when we were cutting it close timing-wise, which we're super grateful for. Our video is amazing and we’ve watched it daily since we got it. We also got our video way earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall a great experience. Just remember that you need the 30-minute cushion from start time to shoot time.

Decided to go with photo and video services for our wedding. Everything went well, they where on time, they communicated well, and they had good ideas in helping us get better photos in telling the whole story. For the price and quality that I received i would recommend them again and to a friend.

It was such an amazing experience working with sound originals. Not only was the set up process and customer portal so easy to use but the customer service leading up to my wedding was exceptional. They answer your messages at any hour of the night! They truly care about capturing every detail of your wedding. I was a little hesitant because my husband and I didn’t meet our photographer till the day of the wedding but I had no reason to freak out! Our wedding photographer Kenneth was so amazing and so personable I felt like I had known him since the whole hiring process began! We are so happy we went with Sound Originals for our wedding photos! Gabriella the planning specialist, was SO helpful with our wedding day timeline and communicated everything promptly and informatively. The client portal is also very helpful for planning the timeline, updating info/details, asking questions, and viewing our finished photos. Our photographer, Mike, was a blast to work with and we highly recommend him for those in the Chicago area. He was assigned to us about 2 weeks before the big day (due to a conflict with the photographer we were originally assigned) and he made sure to reach out to me right away so he could get to know us and get caught up on our timeline and details. His fun, goofy personality kept us at ease throughout the day, he did a great job wrangling the bridal party, and helping with poses so we felt comfortable having our photos taken all day. He was also super efficient with our group photos and sunset photos- we actually had time to sit down and eat dinner! We are in love with our wedding photos and 100% recommend Sound Originals (and MIKE)!

The guys from Sound Originals were excellent! They were very professional and followed our timeline. They came up with some beautiful shots and poses. The drone is an excellent bonus! The photos turned out beautiful, and we got them sooner than expected.

Communication and transparency were great with sound originals. The two photographers that came to different locations were great and super accommodating. They made sure to try and get as much photos as possible and were great in directing our guests. It was funny one of the older photographer as sliding across our dance floor to get different actions shots of us dancing, really loved the effort she put in. The exposure of the photos were great and what we were looking for, only nitpick is that some of the photos were a little tilted, but were easily fixed with some cropping. Overall a great experience and were really budget friendly for us.

We heard great things about Sound Originals from reviews and our venue website, but we were not expecting them to exceed those expectations. Eugene was our wedding photographer, and he was incredible. Due to our ceremony being outside, he had to sprint back and forth to get some pictures of us walking down the aisle as well as down the balcony. On our group photos, it went very smoothly and we got some wonderful pictures to share with our families. For the couples photos, we had a lot of fun and he gave us great suggestions for poses that felt natural. Overall, it felt like Eugene was celebrating with us on our special day and it was truly a pleasure working with him. We would highly recommend them for your wedding and they have great examples on their Facebook pages of the beautiful work they do.

We had 2 photographers and 2 videographers cover our big day and they truly captured everything and then some! Our photos are literally stunning! Just got married in Seattle at a chapel in Seattle with reception at the Chateau Lil. Sound originals was the perfect choice to capture the day! The pricing for what you get was the best I found. We did only photography, no video with the cascade option. I also liked that they have multiple photographers on call in case the one you were assigned has an emergency and can't make it. Communication was great leading up to the day, and they answered all my questions in a timely and helpful manner. They have you provide a "shot list" of specific photos you want to make sure all your groups shots are completed. On the day of, our photographer was perfect. They brought two photographers who were on time, and very professional throughout the day. My partner and I have never done a photoshoot, but our photographer made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured all our moments without being in the way or in our faces. For the posed shots, she positioned us for all the photos and also listened to what we were comfortable with. We were also unsure how many hours we were going to need, and they checked in throughout the night to see if they should stay or head out. I just got the photos for the day and couldn't be happier! I honestly don't think you could go wrong by choosing sound originals!!

Anna shot our wedding and absolutely killed it. We really wanted to capture "moments" rather than going overboard on posed photos or decor. Anna listened to us, knocked out the posed photos quickly and moved on to shooting candids. When we got the photo gallery back, we were shocked by how much she was able to shoot and absolutely loved so, so many of the photos. The hardest part of the whole process has been trying to narrow down our selects! Cannot recommend the team at Sound Originals enough. We're so happy to have worked with them.

I just got married in Wisconsin on 8/10/24 and Julie was our photographer for 6 hours… what an amazing experience! I’ve never had professional pictures and she was so sweet and made everyone so comfortable! We just got our pictures back and did the rustic … did not disappoint they came out so beautiful! My husband and I loved our experience with the Sound Originals team. We purchased the photography+videography Rose package and thought it was a great deal. Kevin (our photographer) and Ben (our videographer) were amazing and so on top of making sure they got all the shots. We absolutely LOVED the photos. Kevin was able to capture beautiful candid moments and was great at directing us for the couple and family photos. And wow, the video, I have not stopped replaying our wedding video since we received it a couple days ago. Ben did a phenomenal job capturing the essence of our wedding and vows. Sound Originals is a company that I can’t recommend enough! They are an incredible group of people to work with! I had to reschedule my wedding due to my husband’s deployment schedule to the following year and they were so accommodating. The day of the wedding they came and got right down to business and when I say they took pictures of everything, I mean EVERYTHING. The venue, scenery, little detail shots….all of it. They truly captured the essence of love and joy that was felt on my wedding night. They were quick to edit and return my photos four weeks later. Just about the time my husband and I got back home and settled from our honeymoon we got them back and it felt like we could relive that magical night one last time through those pictures. I will cherish our photos and video forever.

My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Sound Originals for our wedding photos/video. We purchased a package that included 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and access to all the digital photos after the event, which was a great deal. We were able to meet with our lead photographer in advance of the wedding, and she was very helpful and visualizing the day and asking questions to make sure she understood what we were looking for from the photography team. On the day of the wedding, things were a bit chaotic with all of the logistics and moving parts (as things tend to be), but the photography team were experts at navigating the scene. They fit right into the present moment — while we were getting ready, during the ceremony at the church, and later at the reception — doing their job well without in any way hampering the moments. They were all very polite, easy to work with, and directive. I was impressed with the quality and turnaround time of the photos (just about three weeks!), and I’m excited to see the videos soon. If you’re not sure where to start with wedding photography (as I wasn’t!), I would definitely recommend Sound Originals due to their reasonable pricing and very professional service.

We cannot thank our team of one amazing photographer along with an outstanding videographer that helped us capture our very small and intimate elopement. These two helped us capture every fun filled precious minute of “Our day” from the kids, joking times, fur babies and being able to be in our own happy world lost in each others arms. My husband and I travelled throughout Seattle with our photographer (Julia) to capture our favorite spots and it was an amazing experience. Julia is not only insanely talented, but she was so professional and kind to my husband and I on our special day. Sound Originals was awesome to work with. Jordan was our PM and Josie was our photographer and both were so great to work with. Jordan was super responsiveness in text answering all our questions. We chose them cause they were cheaper but got great reviews. They can be cheaper cause they have a great system in place (you work through a portal) and it’s a la carte so if you don’t need engagement photos, you aren’t paying for them automatically. You don’t meet your photographer beforehand except a possible call you can schedule, and we were a little weary of that. But Josie was awesome! Great energy, super organized and telling us what to do when needed and then disappearing into the background the rest of the time. And we got great photos! Super happy with everything!

We got married at the end of June, and Sound Originals ended up being the perfect fit! We had a very casual event with a tight timeline for photos, and Alex was super responsive and did a great job of capturing all of the photos we wanted in a quick and efficient manner. Then throughout our event, he and Ivan were very attentive and did a fantastic job of capturing the feel of our event and lots of great photos of guests throughout. They were open to lots of suggestions but also provided great direction. We are thrilled with our gallery!

I cannot say enough good things about Sound Originals! They were so professional, prompt, and flexible while still being incredibly fun and putting us at ease. We got our photos so quickly and were blown away by how gorgeous they are. They truly captured the vibe/spirit of our wedding without being intrusive. It was more than we could have asked for. The client portal that they provide made it easy to communicate what we want and allow our wedding day to flow while also capturing all the pictures that we wanted. Karey was our photographer and she was super knowledgeable about where to go and what shots we would want at our venue SF City Hall. She had a fun personality that helped keep the energy up for the kids (and adults) and captured a lot of wonderful moments across the three different locations our wedding took place. We got our photos back in less than 2 weeks and are very happy with the quality. Overall, we are very happy with the end product and the overall value. We used sound photography for our elopement at mount rainier. Eugene was our photographer and did such a great job I am in love with my photos they are everything I wanted. Communication was so easy and because we were in the park Eugene made sure we had a specific meeting spot so he was easy to find. Sounds made everything so easy!

Sound Originals did a fantastic job photographing our wedding! Ari and Ali were very professional and they understood how to set up good shots. I'm amazed by how good the lighting was in most of the photos, even in some rooms at the church that weren't as well lit. There are a few photos I wish had been full body rather than cut off at the ankles, oh well. At the end of the night when our coverage had ended before the wedding did, they waited till the end of a song before saying goodbye instead of interrupting, which we greatly appreciated.

Sound Originals was great to work with. They have lots of resources online to look at and learn about wedding photography and the packages they offer. We booked with them almost a year before our wedding date, and they were punctual and attentive throughout that time with our questions and communicated very well. Working with Tarik, our photographer, was great! We did an engagement photo shoot and he artfully and efficiently helped us pose and and got us into the spirit of being photographed, professionally. Tarik was right on time and ready to start taking photos. He had some great ideas for the first look, and some of our favorite photos were ideas he pitched us. He did a great job watching the sunlight and getting some amazing "golden hour" photos. For the family and friends photo shoot during the wedding we had some friends help wrangle people, so it went very efficiently, so Tarik could just focus on getting good shots, and didn't spend too much time doing that. Overall, we loved our experience with Sound Originals and would recommend them to anyone else.

While the photographer, videographers, and editors they hire are excellent, working with their management feels like being nickle and dimed at every step of the way for services competitors offer for free. They say it's because of the contract, but at the same time, you have to hound them to provide services they agreed to in the contract.

We initially went with Sound Originals out of cost consideration and ease of booking because their combined photo/video package seemed so much more cost effective than many of the quotes we were getting from individual photographers and videographers. We assumed therefore that the quality might be a bit diminished by comparison, but were quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case! We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.

Sound Originals was able to give us great photos for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We loved going back and looking through our wedding day. Brant was our photographer and he did an outstanding job! He was super easy to work with. Our one “complaint” with Sound Originals is that all communication must go through their client portal. I feel this adds an unnecessary level of complexity when asking questions or any other form of communication. We were able to send all of our other vendors emails with information or questions, but would have to log in and send separate messages with Sound Originals. When our coordinator took over, there was no way for her to communicate except for us to share our password with her. Overall, we enjoyed working with Sound Originals and love all of our pictures. I just think it could’ve been a little easier to communicate with them leading up to the wedding.

We loved working with Sound Originals! We chose them to do our videography for our wedding! From start to finish they helped us along the way and were very helpful and clear about what they did and kept in mind our requests.

We heard about Sound Originals by word of mouth who also worked one of my best friend’s weddings. After doing more research on their work, we were happy to hear they were affordable and available for our wedding date. Not only were the photographers on time and recommends, but also easy to work with and made our wedding day a lot of fun! We are thrilled with the results and amazed they were able to capture the most memorable moments of our wedding with our loved ones.
