Scott Terranova is Sound Precision Entertainment’s CEO and president. A Northeast Ohio native, Terranova graduated from Garfield Heights High school in 2003. Following high school, he took his talents to Mount Union College (go Purple Raiders!) where he majored in history and triple-minored in adolescent young adult integrated social studies, American studies and political science. He taught at Garfield Heights City Schools while growing SPE. Eventually, the business demanded more attention, and he made it his full-time career.

Scott Terranova is Sound Precision Entertainment’s CEO and president. This master of the mic has been in the DJ business for more than 13 years, founding SPE when he saw a hole in the market. “The companies that had been around for decades were still using CDs and even cassette tapes,” Terranova said.”Our competition wasn’t embracing technology. I knew that we could help the entire industry raise the bar for Cleveland wedding entertainment. Entertainment, for me, has never felt like a job. Simply put: It’s a passion. I am one of the few that do not work for a living; I simply live my dream!” A Northeast Ohio native, Terranova graduated from Garfield Heights High school in 2003. No person or company is perfect, but why not try?” In his free time, Terranova enjoys spending time with his wife, Jillian, daughter, Gianna (6), and son Danny (3)! We loved everyone at Sound Precision Entertainment so much!! They were friendly and easy to work with. They made sure that we got exactly what we wanted for our wedding and were so accommodating to our needs leading up to the event! The day of DJ, Josh was so amazing! We had an awesome presence when making announcements and made sure to use our timeline every step of the way. He kept us on track and could not have been more fun to work with! If you are looking for entertainment that is customizable and flexible, I highly suggest hiring SPE!

SPE was amazing and easy to work with. They did exactly what we asked for and were able to accommodate our special requests! They nailed our ceremony timing and my voice recording to the Groom! Scott was amazing as our DJ and had the dance floor jumping! He even joined in the fun and danced with the groom and family. We were able to get this awesome dance floor shot with his help! It was seriously a one-stop shop, including our videography, photobooth, and audio guestbook!

From providing the perfect sound for our ceremony to DJing the reception, they nailed every part of the day. Nic played all the songs we requested and added his own amazing mix that kept the energy high and the fun going all night long. Their energy was contagious, and they knew exactly how to read the room to keep our guests on the dance floor. Everyone was having such a great time, and we got so many compliments on how much fun the reception was. I cannot recommend SPE enough!! We had our wedding in August and they were AMAZING!! We had guests the night of and the weeks after complimenting how great our DJ was. We had John at the DJ Booth and James as our MC. James was great at keeping us on time, and he hyped up our guests all night! He was great at reading the room before opening the dance floor and when it was open. John was playing ALL great songs - the dance floor was busy all night, which is exactly what I wanted. I seriously cannot recommend enough - book them, book them, book them!!!

We had them for our wedding, went off of reviews from this website actually. Communication was great - 2 over the phone conversations, zoom meeting and emails frequently. However, on the day of our wedding we were extremely disappointed. It was 2 DJ's I had never spoken to before with a brand new set up they were raving about. I had provided the DJ with our requested dance songs (first dance, father daughter etc.) and we reviewed them 2 days before over the phone. However, when my husband and I came through the doors for our entrance, they didn't play our entrance song at all. When my husband did his mother-son dance, they played a cover of the song - it was not a great cover. Then, the worst part, was when I got up to dance for my father daughter dance, it was the complete wrong song. Luckily we both knew the song, but it was not the song my dad and I chose so we were very disappointed. I have emailed them multiple times now to talk about this situation and have not gotten any responses whatsoever.

Couldn’t have asked for better DJs for our wedding. SPE was very easy to communicate with leading up to the big day and the music they played had our dance floor packed the whole night. We had multiple people tell us how much fun they had dancing on our big day. They also listened to all requests we made and respected all our wishes.

Our DJs were so great! The mixing was amazing and they were SO good at getting the crowd hyped. The only complaints I have are: 1. They did not play all of our "Must Play" songs, but the music was great so it wasn't a huge deal. 2. I wish they would have announced the audio guestbook throughout the night. We had a lot of people that didn't even know it was an option. Overall though, AMAZING service. I would highly recommend!

Scott and his team were very professional throughout the process and willing to work with a lot of our "unconventional" ideas (the lightsaber duel). People kept coming up to me and my husband to compliment the music we chose, but in all honesty, all Vince and I did was let them know the music we wanted for the dances, bouquet toss, and cake cutting. SPE absolutely deserves ALL the credit for making an amazing playlist and kept people on the dance floor the whole time.

We used SPE for our wedding in October and they were FANTASTIC. Working with them leading up to the wedding was so easy, Scott and John were on top of everything. Koro our DJ was the best we could of asked for. He was so much fun and made the night special. The DJs would check in with us throughout the wedding to help us keep track of the schedule and adjust time changes as needed. Overall everyone who worked with us were amazing and they were the best DJ choice.

I'm not a huge music person so i couldn't get a huge playlist beforehand but what I did give they ran with and the vibes were amazing. the uplighting was beautiful and the photobooth was so fun (we've spent all day looking at all the pictures) we kept forgetting we had a CO2 gun with all the fun we were having and they were great about reminding us, which is great because they're so fun!

SPE went above and beyond all of our expectations for our 11/3/23 wedding! From the very beginning they took the time to meet with us and and make sure we were all on the same page in regards to wants and expectations for our big day. Scott T. and John T. killed it and knew exactly how to bring the energy and keep everyone on the dance floor! We had so many people tell us days and weeks after our wedding that it was the best wedding they have been to- I truly feel a majority of that has to do with these 2 DJ's and SPE. From our ceremony music to our dancing at our reception to our last dance they were truly phenomenal. I would hire them over and over again. You are missing out if you don't have SPE as your DJ for your wedding!!

My wife and I first met Scott and the team at Sound Precision Entertainment and Cuff Link Media at a bridal show in October of last year. We spoke with a few DJ’s who we didn’t feel great about because most of them felt like typical salesmen who loved to tell us just to trust them and let them do what they do. When we met Scott and the team it was the complete opposite. During our brief talk we were told that they did great work and no matter what because it was our wedding, whatever we wanted they would make it happen. That is exactly what we got from Scott and the team. First of all, out of everyone we worked with during the whole wedding process, these guys were without question the easiest to work with. They were completely flexible with our schedule with zero issues which was extremely relieving. Second, when we met for an official meeting the team was completely upfront about everything they offered and the cost of everything, nothing hidden or sprung on us in between or later, and they were very organized and clear about their services. Last, on the day of our wedding they were on top of everything. Scott was our master of ceremonies who had great energy and kept a great vibe throughout our event. The other team members who were also Djing were great and joined in the fun with our guests to help make for a great time on the dance floor. I think it’s also really important to point out that they stuck very true with what they explained to us, anything that we specifically said we wanted or did not want to hear as far as a song or genre goes they stuck exactly to without any deviation. The only time any deviation happened was when my wife or I specifically asked for it. When they say they deliver the party you want they mean exactly that and make sure you know that day is only about what you want. We decided to also have Cuff Link Media be our videographer and let me tell you this is a must. First and foremost they were extremely easy and fun to work with on the day of the wedding. Normally a wedding no matter what is filled with stress on some level and they were completely stress free. More importantly, the finished product of our video looked like nothing short of professional movie quality. Our highlight video looked like a legit movie trailer, and our complete video blew us away. A lot of people when it comes to wedding services tell you they are the best and fall short, but this team delivers exactly what they promise and more. I can’t think of any other group who would be better to have as your dj and video team.

John our dj had all the songs we requested in order and we never had to remind him to play something we had our on our itinerary! We had so many compliments!

From the very beginning SPE was excellent with communication. They helped us create the best package for our day as well as a timeline for cocktail hour and the reception. We worked with John and Scott and they brought LIFE to our reception. We wanted a big party and that's what we had. They played the best music and every song we had asked. WOW. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on our DJs and how fun the digital photobooth was. Our DJ absolutely killed it. We provided some songs but the rest they played based on the vibe. A lot of our guests have been to many weddings and the feedback was our wedding was the most fun, especially thanks to the DJs and music. I cannot recommend them enough!!

We heart SPE! Easy to work with. Was willing to meet with us twice before our big day to get details set. Professional in conducting business, clear guidelines in contract, managed aspects of the evening without need for bride/groom to support. Love all the available add ons. We had SPE for our 11/12/22 wedding. They were the A-list, stand out, Academy Award winning vendor in the cast of vendors we had. We specifically had Matt has our DJ and he KNOCKED it out of the park! He set the tone for exactly how we wanted our party to be celebrated. He kept us organized, kept our family and friends entertained and kept the dance floor packed. We ended up having giveaways during dinner, because ya know, dinner can be boring. And thank gosh we did because dinner took a little longer than we had hoped to be served. He got all our guests SOOO excited for bottles of wine, Malley’s chocolates and a lottery tree every 15/20 minutes during dinner. Very hard to explain just how excited people got for their name to be pulled out of a jar for a small additional favor. His ability to host and work on the fly is top notch. It’s like he’s an in-game host or something. The dance was never empty and he kept the energy up. All our guests told us and are still telling us “you guys really know how to throw a party”. Well that’s thanks to Matt and the incredible staff at SPE!! Don’t miss out on this diamond of a company among rocks.

Booking Sound Precision Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Choosing vendors can be overwhelming and scary, but we immediately felt comfortable and at ease with Scott and his team. We had John and Mark for our DJ/MC and they kept the party going all night! You could sense they love what they do and their energy is contagious! They read the room well and they were very flexible on the spot which only made the party better for us and our guests! We also booked a Photo Booth through them and the guests were in there all night. It was never empty and since we have copies of all the photos we only benefit from the countless funny photos. We cannot recommend them enough!

Thank you so much to Scott and the entire SPE team for making our day so wonderful! My husband and I were married on November 5th 2022 and we could not have asked for anything more from the team. We had two DJs for our wedding, Mark and Marshall and they were both fantastic! They did an amazing job with the reception playlist, everyone was dancing for most of the night. All of the guests' song requests that came in with the invitations were played and we got so many compliments on how much fun the music and entertainment was. The DJs were also a big help in lining the wedding party up before the ceremony and the reception entrances. Their energy was unmatched, they even took turns manning the DJ booth so they could come onto the dance floor and dance with us and our guests, including the Guardians hot dogs who crashed! We also worked with SPE's photographer, Cufflink Media. Sam and Jason did such a fantastic job! They immediately picked up on our vibe for the day, casual/informal/fun. They spent just the right amount of time between shooting the getting ready/ceremony/reception and party bus pictures. I think they even had a good time during our goofy/fun pictures at Around the Corner with the wedding party. They were a huge help in working with the DJs to gather both sides of our large extended families for family pictures. They got every special shot/location we asked for and we are so excited to see how the wedding pictures turn out. If the wedding photos are anything like the engagement photos, we will be happy campers!

For everything you will receive when you book with SPE, the price is 1000% worth it! When I first met the Sound Precision Entertainment team at a Bridal show, I immediately knew that I was going to go with them for my wedding. Scott and the team are extremely professional, easy to get along with, respond to your emails/calls/texts quickly, and are so flexible and willing to work with you in order to make your big day incredibly special. They are so knowledgeable about well, pretty much everything! I never felt pressured to make any specific commitments and the team was even willing to make last minute changes for me. We had Matt Hribar as our DJ and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIM! He even took photos with us in our photo booth. I gave them a small list of songs and then said "just think 2009-2012 Danceathon era" and he completely nailed it! This old girl was able to get down like she did in High School! He helped us stay on track with time during the ceremony and reception and kept everyone dancing. Matt, I hope you get to see this review because you were AMAZING!

When I first met Scott at a bridal expo, I immediately knew I wanted to book him and his company for our wedding on 10/14/22. Scott is extremely professional, personable and overall just a joy to speak with. We are thrilled with the level of care that Scott and John put into our night, and they were able to roll with any last minute changes. Two of our bridesmaids and two of our groomsmen decided at the very last minute to do a wheel barrow race as their reception entrance, and the DJs had no problem making quick adjustments. The music that they played was perfect, and you can tell that they love their profession and value their couples! I will definitely be recommending Scott and John and SPE as a whole to anyone who’s planning a wedding. They truly played a huge part in my husband and I having the best day/night of our lives!

Matt and the other gentleman (can’t remember his name) were absolutely incredible. They kept the crowd engaged and excited the entire night. We had a last minute add on to speeches and Matt easily rolled with it. He also was super flexible with ceremony music because my flower girl walking was up in the air since she’s a 2 year old. The music was absolutely great all night. I especially loved that Matt mixed in some of our favorite songs during dinner and cocktail hour, he really kept a great flow going even though the genres were so different. Our dance floor was packed all night and all of our must play songs were played. It was absolutely incredible. John was also super helpful and responsive in the days leading up to our wedding. Everything was communicated perfectly so even though we didn’t meet Matt before the wedding began he’s so experienced and professional that everything went perfectly! Thank you SPE!

I met Scott at a bridal show and knew right away I wanted him to be the DJ at my wedding. He is super friendly and has a fun personality. We had a couple zoom meetings that were extremely helpful to planning out our day. SPE provided the music for our ceremony as well as DJ services and a photobooth for our reception. We had a blast at our reception, the dance floor was so much fun. The photobooth was a huge hit, it was super user friendly and had options to take a photo, a boomerang, or a gif. I highly recommend Scott and his team!

I could not be happier with my choice of Sound Precision Entertainment for our wedding. We had 240 people there and I swear most people stayed on the dance floor all night. John with SPE was very attentive throughout the process and checked in with me multiple times to ensure the timeline looked correct, as well as all the songs we want played. My wife and I used SPE Entertainment for our wedding a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed working with Logan and Josh. They kept the energy of the party up all night, and guests never left the dance floor. Their song choices were excellent, they kept playing songs we loved, but we didn't think of ourselves ahead of time. Logan was super organized and able to keep us on schedule with our reception formalities while also adjusting our plan to go with the flow of the evening as needed. He kept up great communication all night with us and our guests. The photo booth was also a huge hit with our guests, we were able to put it outside and got city views in all of our photos. We could not recommend SPE enough!

Scott and the whole team at sound precision entertainment was by far the best vendor we had for the night, and we had great vendors all around! My husband and I got married 8/20/22 and one of the most important things to us was to have a fun wedding for everyone. We went to so many weddings recently with no one on the dance floor and bad music. We made sure to emphasize that we just want a fun time, we love hip hop and throw backs. Well, the dance floor was completely full from 7:30-11 PM, everyone wanted to keep going! Scott and his assistant felt the vibes of the night if people liked the music and kept the night going. He even watched out for my husband to give a thumbs up or down at songs and he would skip them if we didn’t like it (which truly only happened once), I have so many videos of how much fun the dancing was! As for the formal portion of the night, Scott was fantastic as well. They kept everything on schedule and kept my husband and I in the loop for everything, he was not only a great DJ but a great Emcee which is very important for your wedding!! SPE has a great team that is very organized, they have specific people dedicated to your pre wedding information and questions and they even called two days prior to the wedding to very nothing changed. Every suggestion I had they made sure to do. Even booking with them was great! I was originally going to go with another company because it was cheaper but they met that company’s price because I met with Scott and the team and they really vibed with us and wanted to help make our day fun and special! All around, they are a 5 star company and you should 100 percent book with sound precision entertainment because they will be sure to make your day is perfect!! Our guests have been telling us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, thanks to our wonderful vendors especially SPE!

We used SPE as our wedding DJ and they also provided cold sparks and uplighting, and I have to say, absolutely everything was top notch. They were very communicative leading up to the wedding day and we enjoyed the several Zoom calls we had with John to help us plan our music. The DJ we blindly selected, Matt, was amazing. He did a great job playing a mix of music that all our guests loved and he was hilarious. Overall, highly recommend SPE for any of their services, they will not disappoint!

I cannot recommend this company enough! They are amazing at what they do and they really bring the party to your wedding. We had Matt as our main dj and he gave us exactly the vibe we wanted. We never had people leave the dance floor after our special dances. They did an amazing job incorporating a mix of songs for all generations. From the first time I met them at the wedding expo I knew these guys would be our dj. They were in my opinion the friendliest crew there. We hired SPE for our wedding on 7/30/22, they were absolutely amazing. Scott and Dan did an awesome job the whole night! After the last song I wanted one more song just for me and my girls, Scott plugged back in his computer and started it up for me, even though he didn’t have to it meant so much to me. We cannot thank them enough for everything. If I could give them 100 stars I would. I highly recommend them!

I must first start off by saying that this will not be your average review. SPE is based out of the Cleveland, Ohio area but let me just tell you that I was able to convince Scott and the team to come to COLORADO! Where do I even begin?! Not only have we known Scott and the SPE Family for many years so they already feel like family but they ALWAYS take it to the next level with every event they do. This is why they are a must hire! The location and city where we had our wedding is a smaller city that needless to say... it NOT used to seeing the caliber of workmanship and bad a$$ stuff that SPE is known for. So to say that our guests and even the event staff were blown away is an extreme understatement. I have received several phone calls and texts about how amazing the wedding was and specifically about how amazing Scott and SPE were. Many have asked how I even knew to find a company like SPE and my reply is simply... they're family! They know what we like, what we don't like, and what our expectations were. SPE took all of that, ran with it, and far exceeded our vision! If you don't book SPE... you're missing out! SPE will NOT be the cheapest DJ company you speak to... and that's ok. You don't get Vegas quality work for entry level pricing. However... I still encourage anyone with any size budget to at least give SPE a chance. Don't let how amazing they are and the size of their company scare you away. Scott is a family man with grassroots... he will do what he can to offer great services within the means of your budget.
