This experience as a musician has helped him become a very skilled sound engineer who specializes in acoustic amplification. For several years now Owen has been a DJ and sound engineer at high profile events and weddings. He also continues to play wedding music on cello professionally and is plugged into the elite wedding music community. Owen continues to reside in the Portland area with his wife, Mandy.

wo meetings, there were a few times I emailed them to ask a question, and it took over 2 days to get a response. They also charged an additional $199 for us needing them in the barn of our venue, and right outside of it, because that was considered 3 locations, when not all of our locations needed a full set up. Even the venue owners tried to explain that it wasn’t necessary because one set-up location would work for all 3 spots, but they didn’t budge. On the wedding day we did not feel great about the service we got. The songs were played longer than they should have been, which made it awkward, the DJ did not make all of the announcements that we asked them to, nor could they be found when they were needed, multiple times. They also opened their envelope tip right as soon as they were given it, which I find pretty unprofessional and uncomfortable. Some things went well, like I appreciated them introducing our people who were doing speeches, and adjusting the microphone, and setting people up with microphones for the ceremony, but it wasn’t enough for a fully pleasant experience.

not give you an accurate appraisal of your wedding’s sound reinforcement needs. Your wedding did indeed need a third PA system to have sound coverage on patio for dancing, toasts at dinner, and the ceremony on the lawn. $199 is actually a very reasonable price to add a third PA to the package you bought. Other event sound companies may charge $599 for each additional site on top of their base rate. Sounds like the DJ might have been using the bathroom when you were looking for her. It sounds like she was able to make your announcement in short order after that. She actually insists that she made all the announcements on the documentation throughout the course of the evening. Is it possible you may have been out taking photos with the photographer when some of the announcements were made? Either way I’m sorry you were disappointed with the experience. We strive to be upfront about costs and limitations of service. This feedback will help us to provide better service to future clients.

requests. The kids absolutely love her and we all know how hard it is to keep kids occupied. She let them dj, and even continued the party in the parking lot with her car. It was seriously so memorable! She is adaptable to everyone and that makes things so easy. Our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her. I HIGHLY recommend her and Owens services. They will not disappoint.
