My husband and I hired Sound Solutions of WNY to play as our ceremony band for our wedding on August 1st, 2026. Even before the big day, I was blown away by their communication and attention to details. Laura was my main contact and she was absolutely wonderful. I had many conversations with her going over various details leading up to the wedding (via email and phone) and she always got back to me quickly, while answering ALL of my (many) questions. Overall, leading up to the wedding, I had zero worries because getting everything planned out felt extremely easy. Then, the wedding day came, and it was even better than I had ever imagined. The pianist and violinist played before/during our ceremony and then for a couple of hours afterwards for the start of our reception. The music was magical for the ceremony, and I absolutely loved the song I chose to walk down the aisle to (All I Ask of You from The Phantom of the Opera). Then the assortment of music that was played during the ceremony was just amazing; we were given a long list of options to choose from, which was great and gave us the ability to customize our setlist to our personalities. Overall, we had a blast and would 100% recommend Sound Solutions of WNY to anyone looking for a band to play at their upcoming event.

Laura was perfect from the day we booked her! She met with my husband and I, went through the whole wedding day, and catered a perfect vibe for the whole night! She always kept the dance floor filled, and was on time with everything. She also included QR codes that our guests were able to scan and give song requests for the night. If I were to redo my wedding, there’s no doubt I would choose Laura Lawless and Sound Solutions of WNY!

ons in just hours! I loved that I could book both my live ceremony music and my DJ through the same company. The ceremony music on violin was beautiful. And the reception was a blast! Laura kept the dance floor moving and was great with all of the announcements. Our guests loved the QR code song requests. Some things that stood out to me were that she provided an itinerary for the day based on our timeline/music selections that mapped out when each song would play (which was wonderful for my type A self) and created two short videos for us after the wedding with our music and some videos she had taken of the day, which was very thoughtful. I’m so glad we chose WNY Sound Solutions for all of our music needs!

She knew exactly when to bring the energy up and when to let the moment breathe, and she got everyone out on the dance floor. We asked her to start on piano (and she absolutely nailed our requested songs), then transition into DJ/MC mode without missing a beat. She introduced speeches, guided transitions between different wedding segments, and made sure nothing felt awkward or forced. what I needed. Sarah played the violin during my ceremony and did a wonderful job. I had a very specific request to do Disney songs and she was able to do all the songs that I requested, and my guests were able to recognize the songs. Laura played her piano during the cocktail hour and was also the DJ for the reception. Laura was clear when talking on the microphone, provided lights for the dance floor, played all must play songs, and was unobtrusive once the music started, which I really appreciated. She also had a QR code on the tables, so guests could requests songs without having to come up to her, which I thought was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Sound Solutions of WNY for any of your DJ/music needs.
