From the moment we first met Laura, we knew we were in the best hands—and our wedding night proved it more than we ever could’ve hoped. Working with Laura was hands down one of the smoothest and most fun parts of planning our big day. Laura’s ability to read the room is uncanny. She knew exactly when to bring the energy up and when to let the moment breathe, and she got everyone out on the dance floor. More than once I caught guests saying, “This is such a perfect vibe.” One of the things that truly impressed me was how seamlessly she moved between roles. We asked her to start on piano (and she absolutely nailed our requested songs), then transition into DJ/MC mode without missing a beat. She introduced speeches, guided transitions between different wedding segments, and made sure nothing felt awkward or forced. Beyond her musical talent, Laura is incredibly organized yet still down-to-earth and fun. We never felt pressured or stressed—she was always ready to help us make adjustments or pivot when needed. Her attention to detail (correct name pronunciations, smooth timing, coordinating with our other vendors) made it all feel so effortless. In short: Laura and Sound Solutions of WNY transformed our wedding from “great night” to unforgettable. If you want a musical partner who’s talented, warm, responsive, and just plain wonderful to work with, look no further!

Laura and Sarah brought magic to my wedding day. From the violin and piano ensemble for our ceremony, to cocktail hour and the reception, Laura and Sarah made our day perfect! I even threw some new songs at them, which they learned in piano/violin a couple weeks before our big day! Laura was very thorough, ensuring she had every detail right which made me feel at ease. She also offered exceptional music during our reception along with dance floor lighting which kept the dance floor full! I can’t recommend WNY sound solutions enough! They are amazing and their pricing is super competitive for all that they offer!

I hired Sound Solutions of WNY for my wedding and I was extremely pleased with the service. They responded quickly to my emails and gave a nice questionnaire to help organize/plan what I needed. Sarah played the violin during my ceremony and did a wonderful job. I had a very specific request to do Disney songs and she was able to do all the songs that I requested, and my guests were able to recognize the songs. Laura played her piano during the cocktail hour and was also the DJ for the reception. Laura was clear when talking on the microphone, provided lights for the dance floor, played all must play songs, and was unobtrusive once the music started, which I really appreciated. She also had a QR code on the tables, so guests could requests songs without having to come up to her, which I thought was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Sound Solutions of WNY for any of your DJ/music needs.

Sound Solutions of WNY were incredible to work with!! Laura was wonderful and helped us throughout with music choices and styling. She made the experience so much better and easy to navigate! We had so much fun at our wedding and danced the night away! Everyone kept commenting positively on the choices that Laura made as the DJ and how much fun they had dancing. I hired Laura after seeing her work another wedding, and I really liked her style! Working with her was a breeze and she made everything so easy on us. She is super detailed oriented, very communicative and is extremely professional. On the day of she did a great job at making announcements, reading the room and the vibe, and overall just making the party come to life. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she is just one of the kindest people you will meet - she really just wants to make your day amazing! Thank you so much Laura for everything you did - not going to lie, it was awesome telling people our DJ was a lady! Keep crushing it!!!

Laura Lawless provided cocktail hour piano playing, and the master of ceremonies and DJ roles. She was masterful at all tasks! She helped out so much with the itinerary too, and with dance selections. For this DYI mother of the bride / wedding planner on a limited budget, I can't imagine finding a better DJ. She even intuited what dress to wear!
