David's services were absolutely fantastic for our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. We were married on the top of a mountain, with wind at our faces and backs, and according to our guests the audio was heard perfectly. The entrance, exit, and pre-celebration music was spot-on, and set the tone for the entire evening. At the cocktail hour, David and his team had the perfect setlist, providing for a calm, yet conversation-invoking cocktail hour. Now, for the reception, I don't even know where to begin. Every single accommodation we made was welcomed, and we were encouraged to ask for anything we needed constantly. David really has an eye for the crowd, and knows when to change things up if certain individuals aren't seeming thrilled with the music. One thing that my wife and I wanted to stay away from was a predictable compilation of songs. The transitions from banger to banger kept us on our toes the entire time, and the dancing NEVER stopped. Above all, David is professional, kind, courteous, and simply- worth every penny.

David provided us with a wedding planning portal that helped us so much for planning our wedding and met with us multiple times leading up to our wedding to make sure we were on the same page. We had such a wonderful experience with SOUNDBAR, from our initial consultation to the last song, everything was amazing. We loved David and his crew from Soundbar! David was amazing with helping us with the process and taking the time to have several video calls with us along the way. The monogram floor lighting was such a cute touch! People came up to me all night saying how amazing the lighting/ and photo booth looked! The photobooth was a great add on as well. You could do photos, and gifs which was super fun and you texted the photos to a phone number after taking them which was great for the guests!

David and his assistant were a dream team to work with. From the initial planning meetings down to the last dance, they were spectacular. David was PERFECT! Finding the right DJ is not an easy task. We came across him and read “no hype, no gimmicks” We had similar beliefs in which songs shouldn’t be played at weddings, which was a big selling point for us both. Through many video calls over the year and a half (our wedding had a covid delay) he was easy to work with and helped keep us on track as well as relaxed while working towards our day! He liked the idea of playing a custom track made by my husband for the processional and he NAILED the wedding party entrances (even with our convoluted plan 🤣) Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name but his secret weapon knocked it out of the park too! I’m a pastry chef and insisted on doing my own desserts AND setting them up day of, She helped me out so much and was just as amazing as David. We would highly recommend for your wedding as well as any other occasion where you need a dj!

Where do I even begin?! If I could give 10 stars I would. David was INCREDIBLE! Starting from the top... his online portal was so incredibly helpful and easy to use. It was great to be able to choose which "special" songs we wanted to play and even some we didn't. We were able to tailor the music to our specific taste which was very important to us. David made our experience so easy and stress-free. He would send us monthly emails hyping us up for a countdown to our wedding date and also specific things we should be focusing on throughout (i.e. getting our marriage license, creating a timeline, etc.) This really made us feel like we were special and he was invested in our wedding. Every meeting we had with David he would make sure we knew we could come to him with any questions or concerns which was great. When I was nervous about my father-daughter dance he put my mind at ease and was able to perfectly edit the song I wanted. We wanted specific songs for our ceremony that David helped find which made the day so much more special since they meant so much to us. The reception was AMAZING! The lighting, the music, the introductions, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The music selection was incredible and it was never boring. At one point I looked over and my 75-year-old grandmother and her 80-year-old sister were on the dance floor with us!! David is incredibly talented and created a mix of music that all of our guests enjoyed. My only wish would be to work with him again because that's how much fun we had throughout the entire process. David and his team were the best! First, he made the planning process so easy with a detailed online planning form and unlimited planning meetings. He kept telling us not to worry, that he would take care of things, and he did just that! He worked to create the perfect timeline of events and coordinated and shared with all the other vendors to take that work out of our hands. David also worked with my Mom directly to facilitate a special mother-daughter dance song that she wanted, and was so nice to her in the process. We got the package with the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music, as well as the photo booth and the monogram. It was so worth it! David set up the audio equipment for the ceremony perfectly and worked with me and my ceremony coordinator to make sure that I got the exact entrance music at the exact time I wanted. During cocktail hour and dinner, the music selection and volume was perfect! David and his team did a great job of facilitating the introductions, toasts, first dances and other important events. Once it was time to get the dancing started, his music mixing and order were great! The monogram was beautiful and was put in the perfect spot. The photo booth was also such a hit and came with the most fun props! It was so nice having a photo booth attendant to oversee everything, too. My absolute favorite part of the night, however, was during the last song, when David wove in the audio of my husband's and my vows that we had written and given to each other earlier at the ceremony, so they played in the middle of the song. I was in tears on the dance floor, it was so beautiful! Wedding planning can be so stressful, and I can honestly say having David in the months leading up to, and the day of, the wedding took so much stress out of our hands. We got so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was, with a lot of that attributable to David and his team. I would 1000% recommend SOUNDBAR to anyone looking for a wedding DJ. David was the perfect mix of fun and involved, without being too pushy and over the top (which can oftentimes be an issue with wedding DJs). We could not have been happier with him and his team!!

I wanted a DJ that would have my guests up dancing the whole night and David did exactly that! From the first conversation with David we knew he was a great fit for us. Wow. David is the best and most thoughtful DJ I've ever known to exist. In reality, he is much more than a DJ. He is more like a full-time consultant/coordinator that is always happy to give you his full attention. I loved how thorough he was in every detail. I had a small idea of what genre's I'd like to hear but David seemed to illustrate everything in my head perfectly. From the moment we had our first meeting with David we knew we had to book him for our wedding! He is such a pleasant and easy person to talk to. Planning a wedding at times can be stressful and having David every step of the way helped ease our minds and he made the process easy and fun! When speaking with David and his wife, you can tell that they love what they do and it shines through in their work. Every wedding guest that I have spoken to since my May 29 wedding have hailed it as the best wedding/most fun reception they had ever been to, and that is largely because of David. We had such a mixed crowd - younger 20-somethings, little cousins, and a LOT of middle-aged and older guests. David's ability to read a crowd and make EVERYBODY feel like they belong and can dance is absolutely priceless. Everyone danced all night like it was their full-time job. And, of course, David is so personable, professional, organized, and helpful, even with things outside of entertainment. He is a wonderful resource and I can't say enough good things about him!

Where to begin?! From our first COVID reschedule to our last, David has been not only an amazing DJ, but our saving grace. He made himself available to us night and day always with answers to any of our questions. Having never planned a wedding before I wasn't sure what the full list of duties were for our DJ and WOW was I impressed. David pretty much orchestrated our entire timeline for the day of. I knew exactly what was happening and when. He made something I thought was going to be very difficult a breeze. Now, that is the planning aspect of the wedding. Day of....ahhhhh:)! Not only did he put out what I think were two speed bumps, but he also DOUBLE CHECKED to make sure I got something to eat. His consideration to make sure our day was PERFECT was amazing. My wife and I got married in September and we hired David to be our DJ. Right from the jump we were very impressed with David's presentation and approach of how he will handle our wedding day. We were able to meet online (since no one is meeting in person these days) and he was very personable and professional. David helped us with all of the aspects of the wedding, from introductions to the last song, and gave us ideas on what would work best for us. During the wedding he worked with our photographer and caterer and had everything under control and made sure we can just focus on having fun. Our guests were dancing all night and had such a fun time. We are still hearing from them saying how much fun they had. We made a great choice picking David and you should too!
