But he did a great job with it. My only downsides were communication leading up to the wedding, it took him awhile to get back to me when I had questions, and I wish the dance floor would’ve opened sooner, but that could’ve been because of food being a buffet, not really sure. It didn’t open until after dessert opened. However, I could’ve easily walked over and asked him to open the dance floor so that’s kind of on me too.

t and exactly what we wanted! For the reception he had the crowd standing up and cheering with our bridal party entrances and the dance floor was always busy with people! I thought his music selections were so very good and guests had said they LOVED him! My friends from college had requested a song I use to always sing at karaoke and he definitely played it and we got some good videos! We are very thankful to have had Soundfactor and DJ Craig be a part of our big day! He made it very special and we are so happy!!

unning their business. I really appreciated their organization because many wedding vendors felt difficult to communicate with and work with, and that was never the case with Kevin or Soundfactor. Kevin played the songs we requested for our ceremony and made sure the officiant had the wireless mic set up on her blouse pre ceremony. He also made sure the other wireless mic was set up for the reader during the ceremony. Everything he said he would do, he did! I never once had to think about whether or not it would be done, or done right. Kevin was flexible with the timeline of events and played great music for the cocktail hour and reception. I felt that we could give input into the type or style of music and that he took that information and also read the room enough to make sure that the music choices were balanced and fit the mood. I also appreciated that Kevin was willing to provide his professional opinion where needed because sometimes I didn’t know what was ‘typical’ (ex. shortening the first dance songs). I wasn’t a huge fan of the online portal system that they use for us to request particular songs. It didn’t feel the easiest to use, sometimes songs we wanted weren’t listed (which they could usually play for us anyway, but it was still weird trying to figure out how to get that song requested…) Luckily, requesting songs wasn’t something we cared for much other than very specific songs for the ceremony. We felt that our DJ Kevin would know better than us what to do and we were happy to have him do that! Thanks, Kevin!

ng needs to change. We didn't even get to music in the 2000s until 10pm and by that point only 20 minutes were left of the reception. He wanted to do all our special dances like the dollar dance right at the beginning and even when we said no not until 930 he came to us at 900 like are you ready now? I asked for Maroon 5 and somehow got the dirty dancing music instead. People made requests and they weren't answered. The groom asked for the Eagles fight song if they won and he gave heads up, then notified when they won, and it didn't play til 1.5 hours later. Very disappointed. I would've just made a playlist if I knew we would be stuck in the 80s and not adjusting to the audience. We did do the photo booth and that was a big hit. Highly recommend that.

s . Everything was very professional and all our guests had a great time. Our only complaint is that they sent a link to make our own personalized wedding playlist which we spent A LOT of time curating and very few songs from our list were played. We selected a lot of fun dance music which we felt would have gotten our crowd going more so than what was played. Our guests also had a very hard time understanding the announcements for example the cake cutting, and a lot of our guests missed it. We highly recommend getting the photo booth. This was a crowd favorite and the attendant was wonderful. Overall 3.5 out of 5, you won’t be disappointed but don’t spend much time making a playlist.

Craig was a breeze to plan with and was more than happy to answer our questions, give us advice, and made us feel confident in his organization and plan during crunch time, too (the two weeks prior). Craig matched our music style well, mimicking the mix of style we provided him, and our friends and family were dancing the whole night. He also did a great job coordinating with the other vendors we worked with. We also hired a photobooth through SoundFactor and the process was seamless. It was a hit and the attendant was so nice. We highly recommend!

We even got to come up with a custom photo strip that went with our christmas themed wedding. We even got to keep the monogram that was lit on the wall that we had selected. . Our DJ was Steve and he truly exceeded all expectations! Steve made time to communicate with us via FaceTime a few times leading up to the wedding and really took an interest in what we were looking for on our day. He helped facilitate the night to move along smoothly with his introductions for bridal party, speeches, cake cutting, and more. Steve’s talent as a DJ was evident when you saw our dance floor was full the ENTIRE evening. Several guests told us that we had the best music they’ve heard at a wedding and that they never left the dance floor. Sound factor did a great job with our dance floor monogram, uplighting, and dancing on the clouds. Everything was perfect!!

My music taste isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he knew which songs to play that not only I would love but would be crowd pleasers as well! I had multiple people come up to me and tell me how good of a DJ he was! Overall, the team from SoundFactor was very easy to communicate with during the planning process. They were patient and flexible despite my work schedule (night shifter over here). Adam specifically was great to work with and very accommodating when designing my photobooth strip !! I would recommend them to anyone in need of superb DJ services !

Adam and Steve worked with a local vendor to rent wireless microphones to make our ceremony a production! Steve took time out of his personal schedule to come to our rehearsal so that he was fully prepared for the ceremony - and everything went off flawlessly. As for the reception, Steve took our song requests and identified what type of music we love, and had the perfect playlist to keep the dancing going all night long! There were some seriously creative mashups that blew our minds on the dance floor; my favorite was "Juicy" by Biggie mashed up with Super Mario 8-bit theme. Like I said, these guys are amazing! If you are on the fence about using SoundFactor as your wedding dj, doubt no longer! This is the vendor for you!

Their website was so organized and helped us to put in all of our requests and create our wedding timeline.
