Alton and his team were so professional and fun to work with. The most important part of the wedding aside from the food is the entertainment. sound Fire went about and beyond our expectations from start to finish. I didn’t have to worry about letting people know when the late night snack came out or when the sparkler picture was being taken. Aton took care of running the show so I could enjoy the night. He added his special touch to the night and knows what music to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. Having a packed dance floor all night shows how good your DJ is and ours was packed all night. As soon as you set a date, book Sound Fire and you wind be disappointed. Alton is a real life super hero. From the moment we met him for the first time, until our final hug goodbye at the end of the reception, he made sure we knew he was only a phone call away. Alton helped us plan every minute without having us feel overwhelmed by all the details. Nothing is overlooked if he’s involved. He has unique ideas to make sure your event isn’t like all of the others. His passion for DJing and event planning is evident whenever you talk to him. Not only is Alton fabulous at his job, he’s also just a joy to be around. He’s goofy, welcoming, and very caring. He gets to know you as a friend rather than a customer. We worked with Alton from Soundfire DJ for a video streaming service for our wedding ceremony on  October 9th 2021. We have nothing but great admiration and high praise for the service Alton provided and company.   We wanted to add a streaming service in the last minute to our ceremony for our guests in Germany that not were not able to come due to covid travel restrictions. Given the last minute nature, it was not easy to find someone that could do our streaming service. We stumbled across Alton from a suggestion of another vendor, and were lucky he just had a cancellation on our day  Alton was an absolute lifesaver. Separate from the exceptional work he did with the streaming service he offered assist and advice on the day of the wedding that was invaluable such as lighting tips. He is very organized, has great follow-through, very professional, collaborated well with our other vendors, and In all honesty we wished we had used him for our DJ service as well.  Nothing but high praise and admiration for Alton and SoundFire DJ service, they made it possible for our family in another country to be able to be virtually present in our ceremony which is priceless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Alton was amazing to work with! He had so many great ideas and thoughts that we were able to use while planning the big day. He walks through every detail with you before the wedding, so when you arrive at the reception all you need to do is have fun, and he makes sure everything you wanted done happens when and how you wanted it. He also does some amazing things that helps all the guests get to know you and your wedding party on a better level and makes it much more personal for your guests. The amount of compliments we got about our big day was crazy and a lot of that is due to Alton!

Alton was great to work with! He made everything very personal. Our wedding party, parents, and guests made many comments on how amazing it was that he had us describe each wedding party member and our memories with them, so he was able to announce them before our grand march. They loved how he told our love story before our first dance in a fun and comical way. He met with us as a couple several times in order to ensure that our day flowed as easily as possible. He worked with our photographer so we could have the best possible lighting for pictures during our first dance. He kept everyone on the dance floor til the end of the night with his talented mixing skills and great music selection. We would highly recommend SoundFire DJ to anyone!

Shawn and Tyler with Soundfire DJ did an exceptional job with our wedding on July 11, 2020 in Door County. The detail and hard work that was put into our ceremony and reception was really what put SFDJ above any other wedding DJ I have experienced. Shawn was excellent with talking to our guests and staying open to schedule changes throughout the night. He kept in contact with me throughout the entire wedding and was super fun and brought a great energy! Tyler’s music was amazing. I loved that he fused a bunch of songs that we requested together to make it more fun. He read the room and would play slow songs or fast songs at perfect times. Requests were always granted and they had an awesome selection of songs available. I loved that we were able to make playlists beforehand with their easy-to-use website. I also appreciated that we would get monthly emails with general wedding reminders of what is typically done that month during wedding planning. That was super helpful for myself who did not hire a wedding planner and had zero experience with planning events. SFDJ truly helped make our special day absolutely perfect, regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic. I cannot thank you enough!!! I look forward to going to other events in the future with you guys as some of our wedding guests loved you so much they will be using SFDJ for their wedding!

TJ and Alyssa from SoundFire DJ killed our wedding ceremony and reception! We hired SoundFire DJ initially because they made us feel supported and at ease during our planning process. However, how they executed was above and beyond. There was a minor logistical issue getting to our ceremony site at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens where one of their vehicles broke down. However, Alyssa was right there to meet me when I arrived with plenty of time to let me know she was on her way over and everything would be okay. I immediately felt at ease because we trusted them over our many meetings. My only fault was not telling my fiancé or officiant who were patiently waiting to be mic’d up 😐. But they told me TJ and Alyssa came hustling in, speakers and cords in hand and set up very quickly. I also forgot to make our kissing menu. So Alyssa, armed with a smile, was there to meet me at the reception to ask about it and what we would want her to announce as a plan B. It worked out perfectly because I did not want those clanking glasses! They also were very patient with us getting pulled into different directions and maybe us not allows being perfectly on time for each planned event. We got so many compliments on our DJ. We would recommend TJ and Alyssa a 100x over!

My #1 goal for my wedding day was to be able to show up and have all the work done for me, so I didn't have to stress on my day. Alton & SoundFire DJ made that happen. Alton checked in with us prior to the wedding as well as at the reception. Alton and Soundfire DJ were a pleasure to work with. We had a large wedding, and Alton was able to keep to crowd attentive. He also made sure our guests had a great time on the dance floor. Alton and SoundFire DJ exceeded our expectations!

Each time we met with him he was prepared and gave us many options on how to make our day everything that we pictured. Our dance floor had people on it all night, there was never a lull. Alton goes above and beyond! When we first met with Alton, we immediately knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding. During our first meeting with him, he took the time to get to know us as a couple and really dug into helping us create a memorable experience for our guests. We loved that he stayed in contact between our first meeting and our big day, he's very communicative and goes out of his way to help you plan your wedding as a whole even outside of the entertainment. We had a final meeting with him a month before our wedding, and we went over all of the details and created a schedule for the day-of. He also interviewed my husband and I individually to have us share our love story and what we love about each other. He shared our love story before our first dance, which was beautiful. Our guests were dancing all night and we had so many compliments on how AWESOME Alton was! He really knows how to create a great experience for your wedding and how to keep the crowd partying. We highly recommend Alton and Soundfire DJ!

I do not know where to begin when talking about the service Alton provided for us. When booking with a DJ you expect them to ask - what music? - - - but With Alton, we got, "what is your love story? how are you connected with your bridal party, and your parents?" These are the things and the people that made our night the celebration of a marriage. We were so appreciative of the personal stories shared at our reception. The great music and sound system was just the cherry on top. He kept our wedding ceremony and reception flowing the entire day - without a hiccup. One of the most memorable moments was at midnight, dancing to Avicii with all of our friends and family surrounding us, rocking with us. We thank Alton and the crew at Soundfire DJ for their unbeatable service. They are truly experts at this profession and treat their clients to an incredibly memorable experience.

My husband and I can not say enough amazing things about Alton. He was truly a master of ceremonies. The week of the wedding he reached out to coordinate with all of our other vendors, and prior to that he met with us to get to know us and our love story. The way he told our story made us fall in love all over again. Alton is worth every penny and then some. He kept the dance floor full all night, was accommodating to our night of requests for songs, and just made the whole reception a blast. 10/10 would recommend.

When I reached out to Soundfire DJ. Alton almost immediately responded via Facebook, and suggested we meet for coffee. We liked him right away and could tell he was a professional. He seemed very prepared and was eager to answer any questions or concerns we had. He was open with price and package options and made us feel like we were truly planning our one of a kind special night. Although I initially thought the price was pretty high, I am a firm believer in paying for QUALITY and finding the best in the business. When we decided to book, not only was Alton my DJ, but he literally helped me with any and everything I needed help with, and doubled as a wedding planner!!! He set me up on my client page on SoundFire DJ’s website, where I was able to view my wedding event info, my song lists that I could add to, and a very helpful reception order form. I called Alton many times for advice on other vendors such as ceremony musicians, catering, flowers, cake, and so much more! It was very helpful to have someone who has been in the wedding business a long time offer me recommendations based on past experiences with certain vendors. SoundFire DJ also sent me monthly checklist emails, with outlined things I should work on each month. We met with Alton at our reception site a month before the wedding, to meet with the wedding coordinator there and go over our banquet hall space. We met with Alton for the last time a little over a week for a final walkthrough of the reception and everyone’s expectations. He answered all of our questions and listened to our preferences.  He had up-lighting suggestions based on the color of our linens, helped us through head table deco, and went through EVERY specialty song and when it would play. Not once did he make us feel rushed for asking questions or worrying about small details. Upon leaving I felt very assured that the wedding day would go amazingly. Alton also did our ceremony sound system, to mic our harpist, the groom, and the officiant. He showed up on time to do the mic check, and did an awesome job for the ceremony, the sound had no issues at all. When we arrived for the grand march later that night, he met with all of us to go over expectations for the march and also answered any questions we had, a lot of nervous energy! Alton did an INCREDIBLE job the entire night! He wasn’t just a DJ but also an MC, keeping the guests engaged and entertained throughout dinner and dancing. I really felt like he had a handle on moving the reception along, and there was only one minor flaw when the wrong song was initially played for a dance with my stepdad and I. Besides that, the grand march, the dances, the garter toss and cake cutting all went flawlessly. He was very responsive to our needs during the night, and really got along with our wedding party and other guests. He did a shoely wed game for us (provided the shoes haha) but it was Game of Thrones themed which we loved! He also had many unique ideas for our garter toss that I will never forget! The songs and music quality were perfect. I also rented a projections screen from him which constantly played a cool slideshow of pictures that my Maid of Honor created. I 100% love my decision to hire SoundFire DJ, Alton and Heather made it a night we will never forget! Alton did a fabulous job with our wedding ceremony and reception. He is absolutely a professional who cares about his business and truly an “artist” of his trade. To make sure we did our research, we met with a few others, but every one of them we ended up comparing back to Alton, and after that we knew we had to have him for our wedding day. During the planning stages SoundFire DJ was incredibly helpful by assisting us with getting exactly what we wanted out of the music selections & flow of the event. When we got to our wedding day everything was delivered as promised, and more! We want to say that Alton has incredible people skills, and our guests absolutely loved him. He also did all kinds of things that really made our wedding day unique & personalized that I haven’t ever seen done at another wedding. Especially the way he introduced us, our wedding party, and family members by sharing our story as a couple, and how that related to our guests & family. Alton also created this amazing medley for my father/daughter dance, and had his lighting set to our color scheme.
