Mike is fantastic!! During our first meeting, we told Mike that our wedding was definitely more of a social group, and they would be very unlikely to be the type to fill the dance floor. We also had an idea of the types of music we wanted to have played, but with the exception of a few key songs, we left our playlist pretty open. We gave Mike and his wife an idea of the genre we wanted played at different times through the ceremony and reception, and he said they would put a specific playlist together for us. He completely nailed it! The music throughout our entire ceremony and reception could not have been more perfect! He definitely understood our tastes and what our guests enjoyed! He can absolutely read a crowd! Before we met Mike, I was worried about the DJ we would find because we didn't know many in this area. Knowing Mike now, we would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ! He complemented everything in our wedding with the perfect music selection!

BEST DJ EVER!!!! Our wedding & reception was an absolutely perfect. Mike did an incredible job! He provided our music for our ceremony & reception. He has such a wonderful personality & was so much fun to work with. From our first meeting with him we know we had found the perfect DJ for our wedding! He had such great input & advice & made the planning process so easy. He truly cares about making sure he knows exactly what you want for your wedding & goes above & beyond to make your dream wedding a reality! Our reception was an absolute BLAST!!! Everyone had so much fun & we all danced the night away! Mike also provided our photo booth & it was AWESOME!!!!! So many props & incredible quality photos!

Mike by far, was the best decision we made when it came to the wedding. We found him through the knot and contacted him. He worked both the ceremony and reception. My heart skipped a beat as he faded the music perfectly and moved from song to song in sync with the ceremony. We have an interlude which he took the time to match the exact part of the song we wanted to hear and fade it in and out perfectly. You can tell he is far more than just passionate about his job but each of his clients as well…as my family saw him wipe a tear from his face during the ceremony. This is the guy you want, the guy who sees and feels the emotions of such memorable moments, and shares in them with you. He sat down on our first meeting and spend quality time getting to know me and my personal taste in music and what I would like my guest to enjoy during the reception. Spent an hour with me on the phone the week before the wedding going through the entire timeline of events and calming any anxiety I had, not just related to the music but to the entire wedding. He worked well with my photographer and wedding planner to create the most beautiful and romantic night I had ever envisioned. More over he took the time to ensure he came over every single hour to ensure my glass was full, I had eaten, and had no additional needs at that time. Made sure guests allowed Cody and I time to eat, talk, visit and mingle yet, join in the fun on the dance floor. Mike spend time with us at the cake table, ensuring we were able to cut the cake. At the end of the night, tears filled my eyes as he hugged me goodbye… he was truly the best man for the job and both my husband and I could not be more happy with his kindness. He is professional, compassionate, and patient with you through the entire process and I can't imagine my wedding with any other DJ and Entertainer.

We had Mike for our wedding as our DJ & Officiant. He's very personable, super friendly, and very experienced. As an officiant, he gets to know you and works with you to make your day special. As a DJ, he really knows how to get people to start dancing and can really liven up a room. We had many guests tell us how great he was and he really is. I'd definitely recommend him.

DJ Mike ran our reception like a true professional. When I needed to move up the cake time at our reception? No problem. He handled everything- he even had wipes handy for when my husband crammed wedding cake in my face at the cake cutting. He is such a kind man, he even sent a thank you card with a picture he took with us at our reception. Our guests gave us so many compliments and we are still hearing about how much fun they had at our reception. He did such a great job, I'm putting his review as many places as I can. DJ Mike will take your reception to the next level, his services are worth every penny.

Mike McCandless is a wonderful DJ. He has done so many weddings it is just easy for him. He has a great voice and follows instructions/requests very well. He tends to be a bit chatty, but knows this and will adjust to your preference. I like that he also asked for a "do not play" list of songs the couple did not want. He said he would not honor any guest requests that were on this list!

Mike did my music as well as my bridesmaids gifts because he also does embroidery. The only bad thing I have to say is that at the reception he was so focused on trying to get a picture taken with me and my husband, the music stopped for a few minutes because he was away from his station.

These guys are amazing. Super nice, ridiculously organized. I didn't have to worry about a thing. They have a database where you can go through and choose some of the songs you want, and they will add some if they don't have the ones your looking for. Just don't bother meeting with them if you want dirty or inappropriate music. They won't play it. But they kept everyone dancing, and the whole night flowed perfectly.

Our DJ was great, he kept the flow of the reception so that we could just relax and not think twice. He played music that was tasteful enough for my grandmother but that kept all of our friends (and parents) dancing the night away. He has great ethics, and knows how to do the best job.

We loved Mike. He had a great online system, so it was really easy to pick songs. My only complaint was that he played a few songs that I did not suggest, but that really wasn't a big deal. He knew how to keep the party going and everybody loved him!

From our first meeting with Mike we were hooked. He is extremely personable, professional ahd helpful. We left our two meetings with him feeling very excited about our wedding. We requested some unique music changes and he was on board without any hesitation and did a brilliant job making it happen. He goes through the timeline with you very thoroughly and he and his wife check and recheck to make sure everything is how you want. We learned a lot of useful information just from our meetings with Mike. He kept the pace of the wedding moving perfectly and we loved the way he put the songs together. We had several people at the wedding tell us that he did a fantastic job. His personality is infectious and the guests can feel it. His assistant that evening also did a wonderful job letting my husband and I know when something was about to happen on the dance floor that we needed to be ready for. I am sad that our wedding is over and we will no longer be meeting with him!
