SoundNJoy provided gorgeous instrumental music for my wedding ceremony and perfectly tailored set list for the recessional and processionals that fit my venue and style perfectly! I got soooo many compliments on the music and would definitely recommend using this group.

Sound N Joy's beautiful music took our wedding ceremony to the next level. The trio’s live music brought an added level of intimacy and emotional depth to the ceremony and cocktail hour. SoundNJoy were an amazing part of our wedding. Music wise- they are so talented, were able to play unique songs at our request, and performed them so well on our wedding day. Many guests commented on the beautiful ceremony music and it was all thanks to them. Also emotionally and professionally- top notch. They are very responsive, supportive, positive, and encouraging. SoundNJoy made my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour so much more beautiful. The four players are so professional - they play beautifully and set up seamlessly even though we required them to move their instruments from one room to another for the two parts.
They worked with me on planning the set list and planning specific cues for a perfect ceremony. I'm so glad I went with SoundNJoy and definitely recommend them.

Unbelievable musicianship. These ladies sounded like 1 instrument. Perfectly in sync. Having a string quartet for my wedding was a dream come true. SoundnJoy made that dream perfect. Even the other musician we had for the reception asked me for their information because he said he never saw such a perfect performance.

Ju Hyun Kim has appeared as a recitalist and concerto soloist throughout the cities of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, etc. She’s been in the event music industry since 2008 and has arranged musicians for weddings, events, and concerts, including famous Korean singers, Lee Sun Hee (이선희), Kim Bum-Soo (김범수), and Im Chang-Jung (임창정) at many famous concert halls as well as Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall.
In New York she was under instructor Dorothy Delay and Hyo Kang. As a musician, she was appointed concertmistress of the Boston Conservatory Orchestra, Boston University Symphony Orchestra, and principal of Hemenway String Chamber Orchestra. She also served on the violin instructor at Boston University. In 2020, she received her Doctorate at Boston University in violin performance under professor Lynn Chang.
