d's wedding in the Chicago suburbs and immediately knew that we wanted him for our wedding someday. Tony is truly a professional and master of his craft. During our planning call, I told him "dance party vibes with no downtime" and he delivered that all night long. There wasn't a single song that had the dance floor empty. He was able to handle last minute changes easily and he was so nice and fun to work with. His set-up was modern and he was able to manage our outdoor ceremony that transitioned to indoor dancing with ease. We all had so much fun and owe a lot of that to Tony!

ff took our playlists and threw in some of his own suggestions to make sure the dance floor was packed all night. We couldn’t be more grateful for him and the whole Sounds Abound team - we couldn’t recommend them more!  

brainer. He was an amazing DJ to work with from start to finish. He answered all of our questions so quickly and never made us feel silly for the things we asked (even when I feel like they might've been). On wedding day he was so sweet when we finally actually met in person, and he definitely knew what he was doing when playing music for the party. For our first dance, we hadn't rehearsed anything or told him how much of the song to play, so when we felt we were done I just motioned to him to cut the song and he joked that we were "out of moves" which I thought was very funny. We also didn't do traditional mother/son or father/daughter dances, but my husband and his mom still wanted a more special song to dance to, and he accommodated this with no judgement at all. If people weren't dancing, he knew to change the song pretty quickly. Some of the songs had specific notes on them, like that if he played Never Gonna Give You Up he had to BLAME the groomsman that requested it which he did, and we had a special requested song for our 10-month-old nephew, but he noticed that he left the party pretty early so he didn't play the song because it would have been weird for everyone else, but he still played The Dinosaur Song by Blippi for our 2-year-old niece who loved it. He also understood our whole timeline and accommodated small changes to the speech schedule, as well as the fact that we were going to sneak out for about a half hour to take photos down the road, so he knew not to play any of our (the bride and groom's) requested songs while we were gone.

had a great connection with DJ Mike Macie. He listened well and proved his statement of “I can find anything” by being able to find literally every single one of our niche, hard to find songs. He had people tearing up the dance floor all night and got nothing but great reviews from our guests. We highly recommend this company and especially Mike. Thank you for making our special day the best day ever.

e had to book them, too. From the start, Tony O. was wonderful to work with. Communication was always timely and efficient, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. When we decided to add uplighting at the last minute and he didn’t have any available, Tony even helped us find another vendor so we could make it happen — such a thoughtful and professional gesture that meant a lot to us! We had Geoff as our DJ and John running the photo booth, and both were incredible. Geoff kept the night running smoothly, checked in with us about small details and last-minute changes, and made sure we always felt included in the flow of the evening. The dance floor was packed all night long — our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Their online planning system is also super user-friendly. It made it easy to select our “must play” songs, note songs we didn’t want to hear, and organize all the key moments (first dance, father-daughter dance, etc.). It took so much stress off our shoulders, and the night couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I can’t recommend Sounds Abound enough — from start to finish, they were professional, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable.

I really appreciated. All the music throughout the night was exactly what we wanted and sounded amazing. He even made sure to play plenty of songs from my favorite artist, which was such a thoughtful touch! He also snapped a picture for his social media that ended up being one of our favorites from the day. Mike was such a hit too — he was amazing, made sure everyone knew what to do at the photo booth, and kept it fun for our guests all night long. We’re so glad we went with Sounds Abound for both — they truly helped make the night unforgettable!

ond. Starting with the owner, Tony, his communication was incredible - he was so quick to respond to every email with a solution. Tony was also so accommodating and willing to support in whatever we needed help with, which was so appreciated in the stressfulness of wedding planning. We had multiple uniquely edited files that he worked with us to incorporate into our wedding, helped incorporate cultural music, and answered every question. Our DJ, Tim, was also amazing. I had several specific requests and only had to go over everything one time and he had it down. He was attentive, detail oriented, and actually cared about our wedding going according to how we wanted it. In fact, even when it started raining in what I hoped would be an outdoor ceremony, Tim stayed out there and was willing to accommodate to whatever we wanted for our day. Additionally, several things ended up not going according to plan during our ceremony but Tim was so attentive to everything going on that he seamlessly adjusted the music to the point where no one could tell. Tim also did a great job keeping the dance floor alive, adjusting music as needed, throwing in some cultural music that we had requested, and overall having a fun mix for our guests. Overall, such a great company and group of people- highly highly recommend!!

We also rented the photo booth from him, and his assistant who ran it was incredibly kind and accommodating. It wasn’t just your typical photo booth either — we were able to create fun boomerangs and use a variety of digital backgrounds, which added so much to the experience for us and our guests. Music was one of the most important parts of the day for us, and Tony absolutely nailed it at the reception. He gave us great suggestions for our first dances and curated a playlist that kept our guests — including me, the bride! — dancing all night long. He was also an excellent MC, smoothly guiding the flow of the evening and keeping the energy high. We would recommend Tony without hesitation — again and again. He gave us his all, and it truly made our wedding unforgettable.

He even went above and beyond to let a Pleneros band play for 30 minutes to honor my husband’s Puerto Rican tradition, which meant so much to us. He also trimmed our first dance songs so seamlessly, as we didn't want them to be too long! On top of that, the Photo Booth was such a hit—our guests loved it, and it’s been so fun seeing all the pictures afterward. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience. Highly recommend!

From the moment it opened to the last song of the night the dance floor was full of fun and questionable dance moves. We had an immense number of guests comment on how amazing the DJ and music was throughout the reception. Since our wedding (2.5 weeks ago) a couple guests have even reached out inquiring how to book Geoff for their upcoming weddings. Aside from Geoffs amazing DJ skills, he was attentive and communicative with my husband and I's requests. Geoff was able to calmly command the reception attention for speeches, as well as hype the crowd up on the dance floor. Working with Sounds Abound was easy and seamless throughout the entire process, we had immense faith in their abilities and would recommend them for any event!
