We had a wonderful experience with Sounds by DJJD for my son’s wedding. They were so easy to work with and very punctual, professional and kind!

Jerry was amazing! Every guest kept saying he was the best DJ they’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend him for any event and if we ever need a DJ again I’ll definitely call him!

Jerry was truly amazing at our night! I can’t recommend him enough. He was always quick to respond, professional, and all around a good time. He worked with us when we had to move our wedding back a year because of COVID and even with us moving and downsizing it was still a great time. Our only request was to party and he definitely delivered. We have had so many guests tell us it was the funnest wedding they have been too and that they are sore because they just couldn’t stop dancing! Jerry knew how to read the room and could provide every song our crazy families could ask for. Will definitely be using him again!

Jerry is a wonderful and intuitive DJ and just an all-around great person. He was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive, organized, and accommodating. From the very first time I spoke with him over the phone, I had an overwhelming feeling that Jerry was on my team. He really makes you feel like he is there to make your wedding great and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make your vision come true. In addition, Jerry was great when we had to postpone and then downsize our original wedding and easily adapted to our new plans, including coming to do our ceremony music when our original plans for a live band were no longer an option. We had a small wedding during one of the phases in New Orleans when dancing wasn’t allowed. I was super worried about the atmosphere being weird and my guests being uncomfortable, and I wasn’t sure what to tell him we wanted in terms of music under the circumstances. He did a phenomenal job! The music was perfect, and we had a wonderful time! Really can’t recommend Sounds by DJ JD enough!

It isn't every day that you have a need for a DJ, so it can be a scary task to approach because anyone you hire is a total stranger, and you have to rely on the wise words of internet reviews to make a decision. Let me tell you, the wise words in Jerry's reviews are correct. Not only is he very experienced, he has a very professional setup, is extremely easy to work with, and is so affordable. We hired him for our wedding and I can tell you, I wish we could have another reception because everyone had so much fun. He played everything we requested, which was quite the eclectic mix, and anything he didn't have in his collection, he bought! He will fill the air with tunes from guest arrival to exit. He emceed as our wedding party entered, made special song dedications for us, and kept the guests on their feet. Even our photographers were having such a good time they got on the dance floor. I really can't say enough superlative things about our DJ experience.

Jerry was so nice and easy to work with! He played all the songs we wanted and had a good mix of everything in between. Although we didn’t have a super large crowd he kept the party going and everyone said they hated for the night to end! Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Mr. Jerry is such an awesome guy to work with! He was my DJ for my wedding on Jan. 8, 2021, and he knew how to get the party started and keep the party going! He is very professional and will help you with whatever he can. He also provided the photo booth for my wedding, and everyone loved it so much with all of the props he provided! Jerry is super friendly and was great to work with. From the beginning, he made sure that this wedding would be our day. We were able to choose all of our songs for both the ceremony and the reception. We had a themed wedding and some of our choices were a bit unorthodox, but Jerry supported us and was enthusiastic the entire time. I can't recommend him and his crew enough.

Best night ever! Jerry knew what we needed, when we needed it and went out of his way to provide! Very professional! He was available for questions and always replied in a timely manner.

The hits didn't stop coming! Everything from Juvenile to Pitbull, DJ JD provided all of the dance tunes we could ask for. He worked closely with us to customize a playlist that was perfect for our wedding. Dancing was a huge must-have at our wedding and DJ JD met all of our expectations!

Planning a destination wedding to New Orleans from New Jersey was quite the task and required lots of planning and trust from afar. You think you have everything set and then realize a few weeks before that maybe incorporating a DJ to play in between our band sets would be a great addition. Not knowing where to begin adds a whole lot more stress. However, thankfully I was referred to Jerry at Sounds by DJJD. His quick response to my email was impressive. The minute we spoke on the phone, I felt an instant calm and reassured feeling that this was the right vendor. He shared our excitement and eagerness for the day. He answered all my questions with ease and assured me that it would be perfect. What would I play? How would it all flow with the band? Timing? Song choices? Lighting? Where to begin! Well I didn't have to begin anywhere because he took care of everything! He immediately got a sense for our vision and made sure to remind me it was solely about what my husband and I wanted. To sit back and relax to enjoy our special day, that he would take care of everything! Well we did just that. I can't say how much fun our guests had, the music was perfect and everything was seamless. Jerry and his son were so nice and felt like family. My guests had so many compliments to share about their interaction at the wedding and friendliness. But the biggest compliment comes from us, we loved you!
