Sounds of Music Entertainment was one of the very best decisions we made when it came to our wedding! Anthony and Eryn were so easy and wonderful to work with! The communication wa...
s fantastic and they checked in with us every step of the way from planning to the end of our day! We can not say enough good things! Anthony truly listened to our requests and gained a fantastic sense of our style. The energy level on the dance floor was through the roof the entire night! Everyone has not stopped saying how great the DJ was ! If you’re looking for a DJ- look no further because these are your guys! Thanks again SOM !!!
I cannot say enough good things about Sounds of Music Entertainment. Anthony, Eryn, and their staff were truly amazing! During the planning phase, Anthony spoke with us frequently....
He also uses a really user-friendly portal where we planned the music for the entire day and put our requested songs together. They did the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I can truly say from start to finish, it was absolutely amazing. They even set our officiant up with a microphone for the ceremony. They played the exact songs we wanted and kept the party going until the very end. I highly recommend SOM Entertainment!
Best night ever! When we first met with Anthony my husband and I sat down saying we envisioned a frat party turned wedding and boy did they nail it. Eryn and Anthony were beyond ac...
commodating through out the year of planning our wedding. Checking in and sending updates throughout the whole process. Anthony totally got the vibe we were going for for our wedding aka get everyone on the dance floor!!!! Some of our pictures have no one at the tables because they were all on the dance floor. Such a great mix from old to new. They had an online portal for access to all their songs and to make it easy picking songs to be played and not to be played. According to other married friends they have never heard of this making me feel like we really hit the jack pot! The lighting was also provided by SOM and it was absolutely stunning. Anthony had so many fun features to his packages with lighting, photo montages, dance on the clouds for your first dance, and logos for the dance floor. I would recommend SOM to anyone they really know how to party and detail the wedding to your needs!!!
Anthony was amazing. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. Highly recommend him (only if you want to have fun)
The music at our wedding was good once we gave direction midway through (and then everyone was dancing) but the entire experience with Eryn was a disaster. We had a musician for o...
ur ceremony but needed the sound system for him to play. Initially we were given prices by them for them to play our ceremony when we signed the contract yet when we wanted to add the ceremony in, they didnt adhere to the contracted fees. I sent them the exact price list they gave us, and referred them to our contract but they got back to us saying theyre not sure where I got the price list (from them!!) or what company gave us those fees (them again. Their company name and website were listed on it as well). instead they gave us bogus reasons why it was hundreds more (that they had to set up and now needed to use speakers.. Uh, shouldnt that be included in the rate you already gave us?!) They still wouldn't budge. Eryn was extremely unprofessional and snippy (which caused my ONLY Bridal freakout in return). Unfortunately it was so close to our wedding and we had already paid the deposit that it was too late to change our mind with the DJ. Although at the end of the day it was fine, our venue graciously offered their sound system for our musician for the ceremony, in hindsight I would have chosen a different DJ company. I felt trapped and tricked by them and it was definitely not worth the stress and frustration of hiring them
I can't even begin to explain how amazing SOME is! Not only was Anthony and Eryn so easy to work with, but they really took the time to listen to us and executed with perfection. T...
he meetings leading up to the day were calm, well planned, informative, and overall the experience with them was amazing. The music was EXACTLY what we wanted, and all of our guests danced the night away. Anthony worked with our materdee and the organization of each Reception even wEnt off without a hitch. I truly can not recommend them enough, they made our Reception over the top fun and We danced the night away! Thank you so much and we will absolutely use you guys in the future!

Amazing experience. Anthony and his team were top notch. Everyone had a really fantastic time and people are still talking about the wedding. Having the right DJ is essential to ...
having an amazing event. Everyone got on the dance floor and I'll remember this wedding for the rest of my life! Special thanks to Anthony and Sounds of Music. BTW, the lighting was a huge plus.
I I used this wedding DJ for a very small wedding of 45 people (50 counting vendors). I was in communication with the assignedDJ Anthony and his assistant Eryn from the start and I...
thought it was going fine. I initially wanted an MC to just monitor a pre-built playlist using simple speaker and no lighting, so they advised I do the Silver Package. That package had simple lighting and a basic sound kit, so I said we wanted to scale it backwith no lighting and a smaller speaker though since our waterfront venue was small, we didn't want to deafen guests, and my fiance is disabled so dancing wasn't emphasized. The venue made a change in the location of our room and gave us a slightly bigger space and I let SOM know right away. The assistant Eryn tried to sell me on a bigger package, which wasn't needed since now I was asking for all the items that cane in the basic silver package I already purchased. Needless to say, without requesting additional info about the room size or calling the venue themselves, all communication stopped and I called the DJ himself and never heard back from him or Eryn. The day of the wedding a new DJ came (and Anthony told me he was doing my event) in 10 minutes late into the cocktail service as guests were already there. No lighting was used and I didn't get the package I paid for. My wedding coordinator was asked me for my bridal party names, what order they were to go in, the songs I wanted played for the events during the reception because the DJ had NO IDEA. I spent over 3 hours on the planning forms I was sent and the DJ didn't even know what my name was! My wedding coordinator thankfully did introductions and all the MC work, and helped the DJ out. The DJ that did show was congenial, but he was very overwhelmed and the guests asked what was wrong because it was clearly visible. Never received a follow-up from Anthony or Eryn! Definitely not pleased.
