Sounds Unlimited was great to work with when planning my wedding. Cory helped make sure all my questions were answered in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, Mary did a wonderful job keeping our reception on time and keeping the party going. Thank you for all you did!

Sean did an awesome job keeping everyone entertained during reception. He was easy to talk to and flexible when we needed to make some last minute changes. He also did our ceremony which was perfect!

Cory is by far the best to hire in the entertainment game! He is so personable and fun to be around. He kept the night moving smoothly through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He is always a good time to have at parties and I cannot recommend him enough!

We cannot recommend Sounds Unlimited enough!! We first spoke with Sean, who walked us through every special song, and he was very patient with us as we chose each of them. He would even text us ideas of what songs we may like, and he was spot on! Charley was assigned to us as our DJ, and he was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! He is so energetic and fun, and it is so contagious! We had guests asking if he travels across country to DJ because they loved him THAT MUCH! We didn’t request too many songs for the dance before hand, but Charley knew exactly what to play, and had everyone wanting to be out on the dance floor all night long. When we would go up to him in the moment to request songs, he fit them in perfectly. My husband and I and all of our guests will be talking about our experience with Charley for a long time! You will not regret choosing Sounds Unlimited!

We had the privilege of working with DJ Mary from Sounds Unlimited for our wedding. DJ Mary provided both DJ and MC services as well as coordinated parts of our wedding; she went out of her way to coordinate with our other vendors which resulted in a truly perfect day. She exceeded expectations and was incredibly professional, communicative, kind, respectful, efficient, and downright enjoyable. Truthfully, we cannot gush enough about her and her expertise! She was SO fun, creative, knowledgeable and skilled! Prior to our special day, DJ Mary was very on top of coordinating communication and logistics. During our meetings with her, we felt that she really listened, was present with us, and took the time to ensure that our preferences and vision for the day would be realized. On the day of the wedding, she made sure that everything went very smoothly and this included curating the soundscape for the ceremony and the dance floor (it was PACKED the entire night) as well as ensuring that the speeches and transition periods were seamless. Her DJing abilities, diverse knowledge of music, thoughtfulness, and ability to “read the room” really shined through and ensured an entertaining and super fun night. We had so much fun and danced the night away with all of our beloved family, friends, and community. Throughout the wedding day and afterwards, many of our guests let us know that they really enjoyed DJ Mary’s expertise and quote, “We think you found the best one in Duluth! You’re lucky she was available.” To which we wholeheartedly agree–she was the perfect DJ for our perfect day. As an interracial LGBTQIA+ couple, DJ Mary really went above and beyond to make sure we felt respected, welcomed, and safe throughout the entire wedding experience. Her thoughtfulness and consideration were evident on the day of the wedding, as she even took the time to learn a phrase in Cantonese, ensuring that all guests felt included and welcomed during the reception. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend DJ Mary and her exceptional expertise, as our special day would not have been as perfect and memorable without her. Her unmatched professionalism, compassion, and remarkable skill set truly set her apart. She truly cares about the folx she works with and is truly the BEST DJ in the Duluth area.

Mary through Sounds Unlimited Entertainment was INCREDIBLE!!! We got countless positive comments at how great of a job she did interacting with the crowd, her personality, jokes, and music choices. She made sure to keep things moving throughout the reception, all while making sure we were having a blast and enjoying our wedding! Mary was able to smoothly work with a last minute change to a bridal party bomb instead of the traditional wedding party entrance, and it turned out wonderful. The music was incredible all night and the dance floor was never empty because of her song selections. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Mary and Sounds Unlimited Entertainment to any of our friends and family. If you’re debating on booking them, just do it already!! They’re seriously the best DJ service I’ve ever worked with and Cory made the entire planning process so easy leading up to the event!

I had Cory from Sounds Unlimited on 10/08/2022. To say my team of vendors made my wedding day one of the best days of my life is an understatement. One of the vendors being Sounds Unlimited. We chose them based on suggestion of our venue and raving reviews. He had performed at my venue multiple times before, so he came in and set up quickly and efficiently, I had no worries what so ever! He reached out via phone after my inquiry and had a pleasant conversation. I could tell his personality was fun yet easygoing. He gave some great suggestions towards our wedding timeline and songs. Their online format once you book them is wonderful and very easy to maneuver. Cory and my day of coordinator worked wonders with each other. Cory had great suggestions and keep the night fun and easy, his MC skills are amazing and fun! I felt like talking to him I have known him for years. 100% worth booking them!

Cory and his team are fantastic to work with! They made sure everything was right and all of the songs that we asked for were played. We got so many compliments on how great they were! The photo booth was a huge hit as well!

Mary the DJ is an amazing human and a kick BUTT DJ! People will look at the "stars" given on this review and think that I just half heartedly rated my experience, this was not the case. My experience started with a conversation over the phone where we were able to clear up some of the issues presented with everything being done on the website which was great and helpful as I have never planned a wedding before! We nailed down the specific versions of songs we wanted and she was even able to answer question that the venue had not gotten back to us with. Flash forward to the big day. Mary showed up early to set up and work out details with the officiant which made the ceremony run more smooth. After the ceremony where Mary truly shined, to the causal observer it might have looked like she actually worked for the venue by the way she kept the night flowing and people engaged. This was not made easier by myself who kept disappearing to talk to my friends. She would always find me to let me know what was going on and what was about to start, sometimes even with a rum and coke! Her song selection was spot on and she could read a room like a pro. Both my wife and I agree that we would have paid double for her. Thank you Sounds Unlimited and Mary for helping to make our day much easier and a little more special.

Wow! What a fun night! We hired a DJ from Sounds Unlimited Entertainment and he was fantastic! Our DJ kept our reception going based on our timeline and kept the dancefloor hopping all night long! I highly recommend hiring a DJ from this company!

Jesse from Sounds Unlimited was our DJ at our wedding, and he was fantastic! He had the dance floor packed the whole night, and a friend told me today that he was the best wedding DJ he has ever seen. 10/10 would recommend to a friend! They also went along with my pandemic changes and were willing to switch venues after I already paid in full and had the contract signed. It is so nice that they were so accommodating!

We cannot for the life of us remember who DJ'd the wedding (we think Mike?) on 1/11/2020 at Clyde Iron Malting. We LOVED the music- he played our "must plays" and picked out some of the "play if you can" list and then went with some songs similar to what was on our list. I totally trusted him- he knew what he was doing- the dance floor was packed. He avoided the lame dances like the chicken dance and stuff (like we asked). After our wedding we had several people tell us how good our DJ was. I am truly super picky when it comes to wedding DJ/dances- I find that many arent in tune with the crowd- I was very impressed. They also helped kept the night moving along and flowing well. I would hire them again for my wedding if I could!

Absolutely wonderful service. We specifically requested Cory because he did such a great job at another wedding we went to. He was funny, had a great sense for timing, and was EXCELLENT at reading the crowd. There was always a full dance floor, and I know it's because of his song selection and balancing what our guests were requesting with the rules we set. There was never once a song that dragged on too long! The dance floor was a major highlight of our wedding.

First and foremost, I gave the owner (Cory) every opportunity to discuss the issues that we had with the DJ for our wedding, but he doesn't seem to want to hear negative feedback. This makes the situation that much more infuriating! With that being said, the DJ service that Sounds Unlimited provided for our wedding was terrible. The Sounds Unlimited website is set up so you can pick 50 requests and coordinate the high lights of the evening. Great idea...if the DJ is organized and has the information. The incompetent DJ that we had played maybe 5 requests to include the first dance, and then played his taste in music. This resulted in several guests making trips up to the booth to ask him to play the requested music, and he still ignored their requests. Needless to say...this prompted multiple guests to leave early from the reception. We stated that we did not want any ridiculous songs played, such as the chicken dance...so he decides he's going to play "The Candyman". Who the hell wants to hear that crap!!! In addition, he failed to print out the reception agenda and requests from the website, as this caused him to be extremely unorganized and caused him to continuously ask us ridiculous questions throughout the reception. This was extremely distracting, and caused us a certain amount of frustration when we should have been attending to our guests. Instead, we ended up babysitting the hired professional. When the DJ can't even coordinate the send off announcement and song for the bride and groom he's a hot mess. One of the bridesmaids had to coordinate the send off...completely eliminating the DJ. I wish we would have eliminated Sounds Unlimited from our affair!!!

Cory was the DJ for our wedding and he did such a great job. My wife and I both met with Cory a month of two prior to our wedding and he was so helpful with the format/expectations for everything. He has DJ'd a lot of wedding at Greysalon and he gave us great input on the best layout options for seating, dance floor, ceremony, head table location, etc. He honestly made planning so much easier with his input and expertise. We created a website on their Sounds Unlimited to input the names of family/friends who were a part of the wedding and any additional vendors he might need to contact along with music selections. The website format was really easy to follow and it helped us plan accordingly on our end as well. During our ceremony, Cory did such a great job and kept the energy going all night which was exactly what we were looking for! He played a great mix of classics and original song that got the crowd going wild... it was awesome! Overall, Cory and the whole team at Sounds Unlimited did a great job and we would highly recommend them if you're planning a wedding soon.

Easy to work with, calming for a worried bride, set-up perfectly with little to no instructions on ceremony/reception plans, and a flawless night! The DJ was amazing and friendly, very flexible with the schedule, and played all the right music! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a music service in the Twin Ports area. They traveled up to Goosebury Falls/Castle Danger for us and were very patient with working with us from afar (we live in Minneapolis). Thank you Sounds Unlimited and DJ Pav for an all-around wonderful experience! :)

I was promised a professional and Sounds Unlimited TOTALLY delivered. DuWayne was an excellent DJ and a genuinely awesome person. From the moment he was on site he introduced himself to the group and hit a perfect balance of building enough rapport to know what kind of music we would like. My advise to anyone is let your artists do their craft, this is no exception. DuWayne read the room, the music was appropriate, people danced until the lights came back on. We danced, we laughed, and we were married! Thank you Sounds Unlimited and thank you DuWayne we would like to do more business in the future!

We had Cory as our DJ and he was fabulous. We had so many compliments all night long on how good our DJ was and how impressed they were with his involvement throughout our day. He set up all by himself at our ceremony and then set up all the stuff at our venue (at another location). He kept the night rolling and always had the right things to say. He introduced the grand march perfectly and had the dance floor full all night long. He was amazing! Through the whole process of planning and then to the day of, he was very professional and easy to reach. He always offered we come in and meet with him or chat with him over the phone. He was always open to helping us with whatever we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better guy to run our night.

Sounds unlimited did an amazing job at our wedding. Our DJ kept people on the dance floor all night, was very responsive, and had tons of recommendations on flow, floor layout, and song selections. They were very responsive to calls and messages and our music on our wedding day was seamless.

We had DJ Jesse at our reception at Barker’s Island Inn and also had the photo booth. Jesse did an incredible job reading the crowd and playing music that kept our guests on the dance floor. I would hire Sounds Unlimited again in the future in a heartbeat!

Sounds unlimited did our AV and DJ for our wedding at Glensheen mansion! We have nothing but great things to say! Our DJ was professional, organized, and accommodating. He did the sound for our ceremony, background music for cocktail hour, then music during dancing! He kept people on the dance floor and followed our long list of "guidelines". We got married on June 9th at Greysolon Plaza in Duluth, and working with Corey and Jesse at Sounds Unlimited was easily one of our best decisions. Corey was very easy to work and communicate with during the planning process. He is just an expert on the nuances of a wedding, and this ability showed in how Jesse handled everything on our special day. Jesse kept everything running so smoothly during our reception, with a large wedding party and numerous special moments. He was a professional while still being fun, and he entertained us all with many of our requests and a great mix of so much else. Our guests continue to express how much fun our wedding was, and we owe that in great part to Jesse and Sounds Unlimited! Thank you!

Sounds Unlimited was a great addition to our wedding! We had the DJ and photo booth through them. The DJ was great, and worked with us to deal with last minute issues. The photo booth was a huge hit, and my husband and I are in love with the keepsake album of photo booth pictures. Great service, great help planning, and great the night of!

We had a great experience with Sounds Unlimited. Eric was extremely professional and personable. He expertly coordinated our wedding night; he smoothly transitioned our wedding reception from the grand march to dinner and speeches to the most epic dance floor. We have received so many compliments from friends and family about our amazing DJ and his fantastic song choices. Our dance floor was jam packed until midnight! Thank you, Eric and Sounds Unlimited.

You want Sean from Sounds Unlimited to DJ your wedding. He was easy to contact before our wedding. He worked with me on making our ceremony music play the right part of the song at the exact moment I wanted. He was very professional and so much fun on the day of. He kept the dance floor full the whole night, I had a blast dancing with my friends and family. Sean’s a super fun guy who is really laid back and there to make sure your day goes perfectly. Highly recommend Sounds Unlimited and especially Sean – he was fantastic!!!

Sounds Unlimited was strongly recommended by the venue. They have performed DJ services at Summit Chalet for many years, and it showed in the professional nature and attention to detail throughout our wedding planning. This vendor provides you a client website where you enter in your wedding day details by the hour, what music selections you would like, and other details to add (such as specialty dances). It helped me clarify the minutiae, such as who makes the welcoming toast, and who exactly will be speaking during the toasts. I had my own brass quintet perform for ceremony music (minus the horn player, as I was walking down the aisle!), and DJ Chris helped run the overall sound system for the entire evening. He helped adjust the sound when I asked my guests to sing a hymn. DJ Chris was professional, friendly, and also flexible regarding my desire to change one of the glass clinking games last minute! My only issue was that a lot of songs I had suggested on my website were not played. Although the more generic dance songs he chose got people out on the floor, it would have been great to hear a few more of my selections. I think this speaks to communication-- make sure you clarify exactly which songs you prefer to hear. That aside, my husband and I had an excellent experience with this vendor, and we would strongly suggest them for someone getting married at Summit Chalet or along the North Shore.

Such an experienced group, we were thrilled with our DJ and received nothing but compliments from our guests. Loved being able to throw around ideas and hear their take and experiences. They are also very affordable and their website lets you do almost everything online. Great choice for our wedding!

The DJ was great. They had an online form that gave us plenty of time to fill out what songs we wanted and all the other information they needed. The night of he was great at getting everything started and balancing what we wanted him to play and requests from guests. Overall excellent and I would recommend to anyone getting married on the north shore!

The Sounds Unlimited crew was absolutely awesome and I would highly recommend them for any event that needs a DJ. Shawn was extremely organized and keep our guests up and dancing all night! He made things fun and knew exactly what to play to keep the night moving along. We also had a photo booth from them and our guests loved it! The booth printed 2 pictures - one to keep and one to put in our guestbook that they provided. This was such a fun thing to look at the next day. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

We hired Sounds Unlimited and had the distinct pleasure of working with Cory Boneville. He was awesome and a joy to work with. He kept our guests dancing all night and infused his personality to our event making it a success. Our wedding guests commented on how amazing ourDJ was and we agree wholeheartedly. Cory is very professional and has great instincts on what works for your guests. We also used their photo booth and the pics were fun and the keepsake album was amazing. I will use this company again. Book early, they fill up quickly. He's the best!!

Sounds Unlimited saved my wedding!! Our DJ was amazing, and ran the show once the reception started, when our venue failed to have anyone contact me the day of. Prior to the reception, I was able to meet with someone in the sounds unlimited office to discuss what I was looking for in my DJ. They seemed like they would be the perfect fit, and also offered a discount when using their Photo Booth as well. They gave me access to my own account on their website, where I could pick all the songs I did/did not want to hear, create a timeline for the evening, and provide any additional information they may need to know to help the night go smoothly. Sean was our DJ for the evening, and did an excellent job. As soon as I arrived at the reception, he was in contact with me, and actually helped me make a few changes in my timeline to help the night go more smoothly. He was open to every suggestion I had, and checked in with me frequently. He even brought drinks for us while we ate, when the servers at the venue would not. He actually cared about everyone having fun throughout the entire night, and really made it an evening to remember.

Cory Bonneville and the team at Sounds Ulimited were fantastic to work with! They have a great website to help you plan the music for your event/reception which was great because my fiance was able to be really involved in the music selection. The night of the reception was so much fun! Cory and the team kept the guests dancing all night long. They really know how to work a crowd and keep the group on the dance floor. I highly recommend Sounds Unlimited for your next event!

Cory Bonneville did an AMAZING job! I knew exactly who I wanted to DJ our wedding! He did all of my middle school and high school dances! He is definitely a pro and knows exactly what to do! Cory was very easy to be in contact with and we had a meeting right before our wedding that really brought everything together! Sounds Unlimited uses a wonderful website to help you get ready for the wedding day! You can look at the music available and tell your DJ what music is a must play and what music you do not want played. You fill in all information for your wedding party, what music you want played for all of your special moments and information about you and your fiancee. Cory has been in this business for a long time and gave us great advice, not only about our music, but about things to consider at our venue. Your DJ is the "conductor" of your wedding and how everything flows once at the reception- Cory did a fabulous job and our dance floor was literally PACKED the entire time! We are beyond happy that we chose to use Sounds Unlimited! Make sure to check them out!!
