We went into our DJ search knowing that we did not want the traditional fare of music. No sing-alongs, no dance-alongs, no chicken dances, electric slides, or cupid shuffles. Instead, we wanted to theme our wedding music, and decided to go with 90s middle school dance jams. Erik with SoundShip reached out to us and was on board from the start. Every planned piece of music was played on cue from ceremony to reception and he was able to fill in the rest. He even worked with two of our friends who gave ballroom dancing lessons during the cocktail hour. Erik was incredibly punctual, cordial, and asked all the right questions.
